Maybe this is the wrong platform to pose this question given the average tumblr user but
Is it just me or did our generation (those of is who are currently 20-30 ish) just not get the opportunity to be young in the 'standard' sense?
Like, everyone I talk to who's over 40 has all their wild stories about their teens and 20s, being young and dumb, and then I talk to my friends and coworkers and classmates, and we just... dont.
#I do wonder if this is more Gen z than millennial#also this seems quite us focused because I can’t relate to a lot of this#uk millennial here#I still remember playing outside as a kid and we used to go to friends houses and drink and cause trouble#we’d sneak into pubs at 17 and hope someone would serve us and we had fun#there is nowhere near the pressure of the US to do all the extracurricular stuff and get into a good uni#there’s a push to get a degree but it’s more based upon grades but I know that it has become more competitive#I would be interested to see people’s attitudes around the world and see how things differ country to country

There’s people arguing on whether Ricciardo getting the same penalty for overtaking under the safety car that Stroll got for the collision is fair or not
Thing is, Stroll’s incident was a mistake due to lack of awareness etc. It was stupid but it was a mistake
Ricciardo overtaking under the safety car was a choice that he made, he chose to do something that is against the regulations and it’s against the regulations as it is dangerous.
Ricciardo could have easily asked his team to check with Race Control if he could take back the position, but he didn’t

Apparently the teams are discussing next week over whether or not points should go down to 12th
#saw this and unless they add in more teams why are they changing it so over half the grid get points?#if they want to do that give everyone points and maybe penalties can include points deductions
