Winners List

The Awards this year included many, many wonderful fanfictions and fan art, running the genre gamut. We know that choosing winners in each category was difficult and appreciate the people who took the time to vote. This year set a record for voting! Even with those votes, there were ties in many categories. Efforts were made to sort out winners by vote and percentage, but in the end, ties were inevitable. It was also necessary to bend the rules to allow some stories to win in more than 3 categories. The purpose of the Awards is not only to honor those who have created TMNT content during the year, but also to honor the fandom in general. Doing so means honoring their vote. That is reflected in the winner’s list. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate and vote. A special thank you to content creators – without you there would be no fandom. I’d like to say a special Thank You to all the people who took the time to nominate stories and art for the 2020 TMNT Adult Fanfiction Awards. Because of you, I found some amazing things to read and view that I might not have discovered on my own.

Nominations are really fan recommendations. They tell the fandom “Hey, I loved this and I think you will, too”. What better way to share the things we care about?

Welcome to the first ever TMNT fan awards!

Event independent of the Adult Fanfiction Awards

Created by fans, for fans.

That Event is not only to celebrate creators, but also their supportives fans!

Started a little late this year, but will hopefully be kicked into gear a lot sooner next year if the enthusiasm for this is high enough to continue it as a tradition.

This isn't an award for best of the best, it's more about celebrating everyone that we feel deserves a pat on the back, a celebration for being part of the same fandom. A binding point between us all regardless of preferences in version of the turtles etc

Here the categories:

Honour award This is an award for the people who have been in the fandom for a while. Someone who have put their heart and soul into the fanbase for years and deserves an extra clap on their shoulder for their marvellous effort.

Effort Award This is an award for the people who really have been given it their all this year. Someone who puts love, sweat and tears into it and passionately shows their love for the fanbase.

Advancement Award This is an award for the people who have shown great strides through the year. Someone who have improved with their artwork, whether that may be writing, drawing, animation, or editing.

Constructive Award This is an award for the people who knows how to support and help the fandom with constructive feedback. Someone who has time and time again commented on peoples fanwork with supportive praise and helpful advice.

New Family Award This is an award for the new fans showing their face for the first time this year. Someone who mightve grown up with TMNT or just recently found out about it, this is someone who have (either way) only now shown their faces in the fandom over the year and deserve a warm welcome with their kind initiative.

Best influence Award This is an award for the people taking the extra step and influencing everyone in an exciting and innovative direction. Someone who with their charms and creativity made a good influence and imaginative drive to the fandom.
