"hey I'm here", he murmured across your skin, his hands draped loosely around you in here he gently kissed the nape of your neck, "and we can do this, we can, come on." "hmm" came your muffled response you had been up so long with no desire to get out bed or do anything, you had plans that day made weeks ago but getting ready seemed like a torture in of itself and the work that you knew you had to finish before 4 seemed unvearable to think about. you couldn't go on like this but well if you were honest it was only the Bruce's weight near you keeping you tethered.

"come on", he whispered again, "you got me out last night my turn to return the favour."

he slowly got up stretching his arms to you. "come on get up"

you reached out mostly just to feel him again, the ghosts that had you frozen in bed loosened their hold, as his strong arms pulled you off the bed and then started guiding you to the bathroom. It was going to be hard to keep going that day but with his arms around your shoulder it might just be worth it.
