♕ Announcement ♔

As some of you may know, a couple of months ago our group had to come to an abrupt end as we were targeted by some prominent bullies in the ASOIAF roleplaying community.

However, I am happy to announce that the issue has been resolved and we will, from this point onwards, resume working on this group! As of right now there are 16 previous members (from 2014 AND our latest revamp!) who wish to return to the group once it has been reopened.

Right now we are aiming to complete most bios before we begin to post them, so we can accept applications as soon as possible and resume roleplaying. All traces of previous drama will be removed from the blog and the bully’s IP address has been blocked.

We cannot wait to reopen this group and return to this plot. We hope that you are as excited as we are!

I know that it is a personal choice to not allow ocs but can I ask why?

I don’t have anything against original characters, but I think it would get a little messy if we were to allow them into this group as I like to incorporate our existing characters into plot drops, events, etc. If a player leaves, that means their OC leaves too and that’s a character we can’t claim any rights over so that would mean dropping any plots, threads, and just about anything related to/built upon that OC’s participation IC. 

I’ve been in groups in the past where this has caused problems for other characters’ IC development. While I would personally never do this, I’ve seen admins not claim the OC per say but they kept their existence, for a lack of better term, in the group and basically treated them like any character that had been closed. The players for those OCs didn’t like this - and I agree with them - and that caused problems as well. And then for groups that I have admined for before, some players created OCs that were essentially carbon copies of some of our pre-existing characters with just a different name and FC.

I just think it would be better if we were able to avoid these issues as a group, since the plot drops I have planned are heavily reliant upon character development and continuous development.

Isn't a week a little too long to get in touch with the main?

Normally, yes, however I like to be more lenient about activity in September at least because thats when schools/universities begin and it can take a while to settle in and find a balance. All of our members have been so wonderful and dedicated so far and I would hate to lose any of them over something that isn’t in their control during what I know is a busy time of the year so I try to give them as many opportunities as I can to reach out and let us know what’s going on. Luckily for us, many of them have taken said opportunities!

Please unfollow Daenerys Targaryen, as Admin Sam has decided to cease playing her due to personal reasons. Sam will still be around in the group, of course. However, she might not be participating IC for a bit.

I can’t wait to have Sam among us IC again soon but until then, its going to be nice to have her around the main more!

will you be writing in Benjen anytime soon?

Not soon. Our focus is currently on smallfolk so we won’t be releasing bios for any nobles in the forseeable future.

Are you lovelies attached to Robert's FC?

I’m afraid we are, as it took us a while to actually settle on a specific fc that fit Robert but also looked like Stannis’s fc.

Robert and Stannis’s FCs play brothers in the show Versailles, so I thought that might be cool for their players, but if you had anybody else in mind just let us know and we’ll see if he fits! I had a hard time finding an FC for Robert, to be honest, so I’m definitely open to other suggestions!
