去年チケットは買ったけど、2月の終わりのライブまで自分が元気でいられるか心配だったけど、元気だったしMr. bungle見られて本当に良かった。マイクバットンかっこよかったし、後ろの方でおとなしく見てたけど最高のバンドだし最高のライブだった。なんならマイクがThank you for coming って言っただけで来てよかったと思った。

Sept. 17 / Plagiarism (1997) / I got my one request
i’ll admit it……..i have a soft spot for this album! i think the concept is cool and often yields really interesting reworkings. i like that they were too creative to settle for a basic greatest hits! they’re about reinvention. i love the homoerotic club bangerrrr tracks (erasure!) and i’ve always been partial to the odd one out, the bowie/donovan style version of funny face, i think it’s really charming
today is a photo post, and i also want to say that russell in the huge leather jacket with that hairstyle is like…everything to me, i guess is the polite way to say it
but many of the photos also feature mike patton, whom i adore. the faith no more collabs on here!!!!!! i’m obsessed with the contrast between their vocal styles, and the band brings so much heat to the arrangements. i wish there were a full album of FNM/Sparx collabs. here is a video of them SHREDDING this town in 1997
