I was gutted to learn of Mitchell Kezin’s passing this morning. His work on this doc has brought me much joy over the past holidays. Fortunately, I finally got off my ass to tell him so, and even purchased a hard copy in this day of streaming. So, just a little reminder, from our good friend Tom Spurgeon: “Write your heroes.” A note, a txt, an email, a letter… just a kind thought can mean the world to someone. RIP, Mr. Xmas.
