"No need. I should have been more considerate of your feelings, so I'm at fault here. If you want to hate me for the rest of my sorry life, go on ahead. I won't stop 'ya. I deserve every second of it." He shrugged it off, seeming very content with that possibility-- that Sarina would live on hating him. "You shouldn't love what isn't good for you."
Ignorence
"Yet unfair." Sarina could only say as her hair was being mussed and gave a light blush at the close proximity. "I’m sure you’re still angry that she beat you like you were some rag doll." she makes it sound like that it was no surprise. She let out a sigh as she pushed some of her hair behind her ear. "But honestly… I think that’s something we have to talk about though… About what I said to you."

"It's fine," he said, sounding pretty indifferent about the whole situation, though he could still feel his blood boiling. "We're even, I suppose." He mussed her hair, hugging her close to him with one arm.
Ignorence
"Of course I know how she is. I’ve known her longer than any of you— well Cupid might be the only exception there." He cleared his throat. "Next time you see her, why don’t you sit down and talk to her about it? You two need something to discuss anyhow."

"She rarely speaks to me." Sarina simply said to Red, though it was no surprise that she had no reaction. "There’s many things I never payed much attention to due to my mother being busy, I’ve been often outside in the woods. Why do you ask?"

"Have you taken a good look at her, really?" He swallowed hard. "I know she stayed away from home for a while, I don't blame her for doing so, but I just don't want her to be afraid, y'know?"
Ignorence
"Ah, I know that. I spend my time just relying on—" He paused, looking for the right word for it. "Instinct— animalistic instinct." He ran his fingers through his hair, eyes locked on what was in front of them, though he watched the girl from his peripheral vision. "Did Seraphina ever come talk to you about our trip? Has she said anything about it at all— to you, Cupid, anyone?" He sounded worried, glancing down at Sarina to catch her expression.

"I hear Seraphina has been busy… Or so Dia tells me anyways." Sarina stated. Honestly, she hadn’t really been keeping up with her sister as she been more focused on something entirely else.

He shrugged it off. "She's free to do what she wants. I have no complaints aside from loneliness." He chuckled.

He led her— smelling of burning wood and pine trees. “Lonely, to be honest. Seraphina hardly comes to see me anymore… Ever since we got home.” Their vacation to Hell had only lasted a week or two, maybe even three at most, in real time. However, to the two of them, it lasted much longer…

"Oh she down-right kicked my ass," he huffed, chuckling breathlessly as he shoved his hands down into his pockets. At her request, he glanced up at her, genuinely surprised. "Ye—" He cleared his throat. "Yeah. Why don’t you and I go for a walk?" He offered her his arm.

Red was hoping Sarina would ignore the signs of a struggle around him— the charred grass, splintered wood of the tree. “Oh, she just wanted me to stop making so much noise— told me to quiet down.” He shrugged it off. “Seraphina’s obviously out cold, so I’ll come back another time.”

Red turned to leave, stomping out embers in the grass. He guessed that he’d just come back for Seraphina in the morning. He could only wonder if she was ignoring him on purpose…
Hearing her feet touch the ground, he turned to face her, forcing a smile. “Hey there, kid! What are you up to, up so late at night? Go back to bed.”

"I don’t see any point in trying to make it up to her. I’ve already messed up. I accept my mistakes, yeah, but—" He pressed his lips into a firm line. "I guess I just want her to stay mad at me. Things are easier that way, for her, safer too. If she stays mad at me, stays away from me, I can’t hurt her again."

"You’re damn right there’s no excuses." Dia turned around to face him. "You’re right, Sarina could have done all of those things but she decided to be the bigger person. She decided that she won’t make the same mistake. She still contemplating whether to truly forgive you and Seraphina. She never said anything about you being the bad guy, nor Seraphina but what she does blame on both of you and being ignorant of your consequences and being ignorant of both of your denials. I’m not the person to be talking about this to… But Sarina is. If anything, you should talk to her, she would appreciate it more than anything." Dia crossed her arms in front of her chest before walking towards the palace. At this time, Sarina had looked out the window and saw Dia just walking away from Red. She blinked, seeming surprised, almost shocked. "Red?" She figured he was probably here for Seraphina but she wondered why Dia was out there with him.

"You're right about that," Red muttered under his breath, pushing himself up on his feet. He slumped back against the tree, trying to catch his breath. Head ducked in shame, he wiped the sweat from his brow, the fearful tears from his eyes. He was silent for a brief moment before speaking again, "I hurt her bad, I know. I'm the bad guy. It's my fault. I get it." He glanced back up at Dia, adrenaline bringing everything into a sharp focus. "But we never had to be friends to begin with. She was never obligated to stick around. When I did what I did, she could have well just got up and left for good, could have beat me to a bloody pulp if she'd like that any better. My only excuse for what I did is that she caught me at a bad time-- still could have been a bit more considerate towards her feelings, but I--" He shook his head, giving a breathy laugh. "No excuses."

"Listen, I’m sorry for keeping ‘ya up, and making a racket. Will ‘ya just let me go?" He stared up at Dia, eyes fearful. It seemed that he was all talk, seeming terrified of Dia’s magic. He’d never seen something so powerful.

Red truly was animalistic in his approach to battle, relying on instinct alone— no true strategy involved. He roared, spitting fire as he did. "Let me go!"

"I really think you should start." His smile fell, baring his teeth. He narrowed his eyes at her. "I’m not going to play nice just because you’re friends with Sarina. You obviously don’t like me, or my girlfriend— not that I really care, but I’m going to go get her whether you like it or not— I don’t give a damn who I’m waking up." He made his way to the wall, rolling up his sleeves. Fire shot from his fingertips as he dug his nails into the stone wall of the palace, beginning his climb up the wall— towards Seraphina’s window. He planned to brush Dia off, to not pay her any mind, however, he just couldn’t stand to listen to that mocking tone. It drove him crazy.

He snorted, “I’m pretty damn sure Sera would get up if she knew I was down here. I bet she wouldn’t be happy with you talking to me like this.” He enjoyed sizing her up, it was entertaining to him. “I don’t think you should be challenging me. It’s most likely not good for your health.” The corners of his lips pulled up into a smug grin as he puffed up his chest. He towered over Dia, gazing down at her.
