This trip was started with randomness. Some months ago, I’ve just getting closer with my office mate after been in the same bidding project. In the middle of conversation, we just suddenly talk about holiday. Then I asked him how about holiday in Bromo, and he said he’s ever been in malang for sometimes, but he never visited mount bromo. I am a type of person who does not like travelling in the large group of people. I enjoy a small group, 2 to 4 people. We also thought no one form our office mate that interested in this travelling trip, because we made it a little “comfy” yeah pfcourse with more expensive budget. Beside I preferred not to be confused and think harder because of too many persons involve. I want an enjoyable holiday without conflict. haha.

We flighted from jakarta on friday noon. We decided to go to the airport early after friday praying. Then, we’ve got delayed 1 hr from the right schedule. In the Juanda Airport (Surabaya Airport), the travel agent to malang already waited us. Actually Malang has an airport but the price to get there directly was expensive. The first schedule in malang was trip to Bromo. We followed an open trip from bromo travel agent. We had meeting point on Lawang station. We’ve came early to meeting point, and the time of meeting resechedule 1 hr late. Luckily, close to the Lawang station, there was 24 hr restaurant. So we could waiting in the proper place.

Then we went to Wonokitri park, to change our vehicle to jeep. In the one very cold morning we already stood in the area called Bukit Kingkong to see sunrise. There were other place to see sunrise, and more popular than Bukit Kingkong, called by Penanjakan (1 and 2). The sky was bright when we moved to other spot. Pasir berbisik, Savana Hill, Teletubies Hill, and the last spot was foot of mount bromo.

The next day we went to south of Malang to see its beach. First, we visited sendang biru to go to Sempu Island where Segara Anakan lake hidden. The track to get there was not easy. It needed about 1 hour to get there, for me it was an achievement, never did hard tracking before. We came back in the mid day, then had some lunch outside area of sendang biru. We visited other 2 beach close to sendang biru, Bajul Mati beach and Batu Bakung Beach. The beach not as good as gili trawangan beach or south of Bali beach, but it still good to recreation with family there. In Batu Bakung, we actually planned to see sunset there, but the it was cloudy there, so we decided to go back to hotel early.
