Yes, betas do exist

They are mostly seen as a middle ground, the harworking ones who are not as affected by pheromones/ mating cycles and are expected to remain level headed through it all. Their treatment varies by their first gender and social status, but overall they are treated with respect.

Betas/betas pairings are the most common and accepted when their first genders are opposite, same sex b/b are frowned upon. Female Beta/ any alpha is totally accepted,male beta/alpha is not. Male Beta/any omega is accepted while female beta/ any omega is not. Basically the pairing is accepted on basis that they are biologicaly able to concieve children.

People stigmatize omegas as too pure and weak for pure physical work. omega physically working is associated with poor quality of living and peasantry (only omegas of the lowest classes physicaly work because of hard living conditions). Unmated omegas are also stigmatized as childish and not serious enough to have real voice and power. Omegas are largely viewed by society as childbearers and nurturers who care for people and provide for them.

Alphas and omegas are not discouraged to see eachother. They can befriend one another and meet in public spaces. It's when alpha and omega meet privately that people will start to side eye.

Arranged partnership is a popular thing amongst gentry and wealthy. Arrangment is often decided when the pair doesn't object to the others scent (compability) and display no animosity towards eachother
