Hi :) I am showing in the a circuit this season coming up (in the 1m jumpers) and I am not sure when to wear formal show shirt and jacket and when to wear nice schooling clothes (like a le fash shirt or something) thanks so much for your help :)

not sure how old this message is but i did the low childrens (1-1.05m) last summer and i wore tan breeches and an essex show shirt with a black show jacket (working on getting a more fun jumpery jacket) for the regular classes and then white breeches for the classic.

if youre just doing 1m classes like training or schooling jumpers you dont really need a jacket but still wear tan breeches and probably a show shirt, a le fash shirt would perfect

would it be better to buy redwood or black forest green tailored sportsmans? i love both colors but don't know what i can wear with both to be the better option

I really want both of those too but I think I’d buy the black forest ones first bc I think they can go with more colors

Can you do an outfit with the "mixed berry" TS's?

I'm a little on the chunky side, so I hate going shopping for breeches, and I really REALLY hate tucking my shirt in because it exposes my squishier bits. honestly im gonna have to say always tuck in your shirt with a belt. i just think it makes riders look really sloppy when they dont i cant stand it. if youre worried about tucking in your shirt accentuating your curves maybe go for a looser shirt

Hey :) I was wondering what you use to clean your field boots/ make them shiny? I have really nice ones but am not too sure how to care for them

wipe off the dirt and stuff with a damp cloth then use leather soap on it. also boot polish but NEVER put polish on the insides of the boots

anything! i have a bay, and i love blues, silver combos on him

debating on getting the ariat VOLANT S TALL ZIP, do you think they'd be appropriate to wear to the A rated as well as AA rated jumper shows? Or should I stick with something more like the field zip? much love

not a fan of whatever fake looking snake skin thing that is at the top. i wouldnt buy them, when it comes to tall boots i think that they are something definitely worth investing in, so i recommend saving up for boots that will last a long time like parlanti, sergio grasso, or der dau rather than buying $500 cheap looking boots youll have to replace after a season or two. ive never liked ariat tall boots anyway

you could wear them to whatever shows you want but i think there are better choices

Hi, I used to lease a chestnut irish sport horse! Loveee chestnuts but the colors are so hard to match. I would usually use navy, black, hunter green or white (pretty boring colors but any others would look terrible!)

And about helmet monograms, I have a speed air and I have a black monogram. I'm not a huge fan of the super colorful ones because it's too much. The black is subtle and still beautiful!

I would be showing him in 3'6 EQ stuff so I want something professional, not cutesy. Btw he's a big bay, think of standard EQ horse. So any ideas for good show names? :) thanks!

i dont have any experience with AHA showing or anything but i always wear a white show shirt when i show (eq/jumpers at aa shows), colored show shirts arent really acceptable on that circuit

but maybe its different at those shows ive never been to one ya never know
