I like the idea of Adam growing an affection for the sea because it has a lot of symbolism to freedom and escape and being unrestrained, a lot of characteristics he saw One carried and some that he learned from her

In The Fallen Legacies there are a couple scenes where he finds himself imagining the sea as a tranquil escape and an idea of "what if?" The first memory he goes to when One is distracted is the one where she's surfing at the beach, enjoying her time there regardless if it ignores her responsibilities, her training, the pressure she has as Number One. When he imagined a life where his family was more carefree and less imposing to him, he imagined the General flipping burgers, him and Ivan seeing who can swim farthest, his mother watching Kelly build sand castles

And yesss, I will be drawing more of them. It might take a while because I’m trying to capture them book accurate as much as possible, so I’m rereading descriptions for references.

But I also imagined them very specifically while I was still reading sooo I might just go with the flow for some of them HAHAHHAHA like Sam here, I don’t remember if he had straight or curly hair but he’s cute with wavy hair so I might just keep it like that (I refuse to acknowledge the buzz cut disguise in the 2nd book, thanks…)
