Every now and again I remember this sideblog of mine and then I remember 17776 and then I remember the absolute absurdity of it but do you guys remember how hard it hit?
How its overwhelming existentialism just hit you in the face? How you one minute were laughing and then wondering whether or not you yourself are ok after reading an update.
Like the whole premise of it is absurd, its funny but its scary and triggers my desire to just crawl under my covers and not think about it.
if humans were immortal, what would we do? I’m not sure what we’d do, maybe we’d exist as normal for a while but we would run out of things to do. We’d run out of life to experience. What else would there be but just games? trying to do more things, trying to just quench the tedium.
Hell, is life something worth living because its short or is its shortness something we need to overcome?
What goals could you have in year 17776? What point would there be to living.
This was something that was posted on a sports news site. It was wild, it was special and it hit us like a brick and let us never forget it.
