but maaaan
do some ppl really have close friends with whom they can genuinely fangirl over fandoms, characters and ships? share ideas and WIPs with? i almost cannot even imagine that.
like, I have some irl (well, nowadays its all long distance) friends who are nerdy. but somehow our interests have never aligned. we were always either into different things, or had different levels of obsession about them.
and its so fucking hard to even make new proper friends when youre out of school and live in absolute bumblefuck nowhere.
And yeah theres billions of people on the internet, so you can always find someone from somewhere in the world with similar interests but usually for me a) having to write out what I want to say in text format and b) being forced to use english with 99,5% of the people, is just is too exhausting to do for proper long conversations.
