Hiatus

My 3ds broke so I can't shiny hunt at the moment. I can do full odds on my dsi but I'm probably not gonna. The 3ds still works, might post shiny finds here and there if I find some quick ones to not wear down the ds anymore than it already is.

Hello! I’m back from a fairly long break. I didn’t feel motivated to shiny hunt for a long time after Treecko, which I never ended up showing because I gave up the hunt in the end. It was becoming too stressful for me to continue, so I had a friend modify the regular treecko to make it shiny for me. I know, not a very Shiny hunter thing to do, but I was becoming insanely stressed out with the hunt and I was just itching to get on with the story.

After that hunt I took a long break. I am now back shiny hunting! I found this beautiful Stunfisk in only one wormhole encounter! I hope to show you my finds more often!

SO LONG WITHOUT A SHINY!!! I put shiny hunting down for a little while, decided to pick it back up and do a full odds hunt on my White 2 and a Friend safari hunt on X, fully expecting to get a shiny on X first, I get shocked surprised and baffled by the sight of a shiny Aron on my screen after only 40 minutes of hunting!! I feel so lucky right now! 

Shiny swellow! I’m not too sure how many wormhole runs it was, but if i were to estimate i would say about 12.

I got a used Pokemon Diamond game for Christmas today, and so I decided to check out the file just for fun. I found this little gem on it! It looks legit in just about every way possible, from the OT being the same to the legitimate looking level. Legit pokeball too.

Sadly, I could not transfer the Pokemon over as it did not meet the requirements for me to transfer it. I also didn’t feel like playing through a used half-done Pokemon diamond file considering I haven’t played this game at all yet. I wanted to experience it properly from the beginning. I had to reset the file, hence tossing away this beautiful psyduck.

But it’s alright!

Memories are greater than shiny Pokemon. I wasn’t about to go out of my way to have a bad memory of the first time with this game just for a blue psyduck (I have one already anyway) I also could get more shinies with the pokeradar if I wanted to. And that’s what I will do once I’m far enough in the game! I feel like rinsing away this psyduck was better for me as Its not as difficult to obtain shinies in this game.
