To this day I just find it very interesting how in “Steven and the Stevens”, Steven was quick to beat himself up. He never got physically violent with anyone except enemies at that point. You can even see him getting ready to punch himself in the face and holding himself in a chock-hold.

Just seeing how his regard for himself is so low…. like again, Steven never got that violent at another person. Angry yes, but never violent. So to see himself not giving himself that respect, that worth is just… sad and disturbing. And just goes to show his problems with his self worth dates way back
