Little Ribbon Dancer
Howdy folks! Here is a lil oneshot to get me back in the swing of things. :)
This is just a thing for @crustysoapbubbles, you requested this a while ago, sorry it took so long, I’ve been all over the place. Hope you like it! Some groovy Gangle G/t angst :D
tw ~ falling, fear, unintentional fearplay, minor self depreciation, Kinger shenaniganary Word count ~ 1k
When Gangle woke up in the morning, the last thing she expected was her bed to be like a vast expanse of fabric around her. In fact, her whole room was gigantic to her…
What kind of nightmare…
Gangle suddenly gasped. This was too real to be a nightmare, and it seemed like it wasn’t her room that grew.. she shrunk.
The ribbon character started to panic, breath quick and uneven as she looked around. The constantly worried eyes of her mask seemed appropriate for this situation.
What would she do? There wasn’t much she could do at the moment… maybe find Caine?
With trembling ribbon limbs, Gangle stood and looked over the edge of her bed. She saw the drop to the floor was long… and even though she knew cartoon physics wouldn’t let her get seriously hurt, she still felt terrified of the drop.
However.. she noticed how on the floor next to the bed there was a pillow, one of the five that she didn’t use much that had probably fallen off the bed in the night.
This would be scary… but there wasn’t another option, so Gangle walked to the very edge and prepared to jump…
Only to attempt to chicken out at the last moment. But the momentum of the running start caused her to fall anyway with a startled yelp.
Fortunately, she landed on the pillow anyway and was only mildly disoriented.
Looking around, she saw that the door had a crack under it big enough for her ribbon body to fit under.
By the time Gangle made it down the hallway of bedrooms, she was completely out of breath and tripping over her own feet. Finally, she took a moment to catch her breath, and that’s when she noticed the familiar form of a royal-looking chess piece.
Kinger seemed to be staring, dissociating most likely, and not paying attention… he would be a good help in finding Caine…
Gangle ran over to him, yelling out his name but soon realizing that he couldn’t hear her, whether from the dissociation or her size change, she didn’t know.
Regardless, she still tried waving her arms around to gain his attention… and she almost regretted it when she did because immediately his eyes were blank and looking at her in a way she thought was much more intimidating while she was the size of a hand.
Kinger gasped loudly and suddenly, staring down at her with wide eyes.
“Part of an insect collection…”
He muttered under his breath, one of his disconnected hands reaching out to grab Gangle. She let out a squeal of fear and covered her eyes with ends of her ribbon hands. She was grabbed by the giant hand and lifted up high into the air, only to a normal sized person it was only a few feet off the ground.
The grip wasn’t tight though, not to her flattened digital body of ribbon, and once the hand stopped at kingers eye level, it opened, leaving Gangle sitting in his open palm as he inspected her.
“K.. Kinger! It’s me!”
She spoke up with very little confidence, her arms practically tied together with how much she nervously fidgeted with them.
There was a pause, of Kinger being frozen and silent… Gangle knew what was coming.
A sudden scream came from the chess piece character as the hand she was on flailed at a high speed, she was wrapped around his thumb for dear life…
She squealed in fear as she was flung around while Kinger continued to scream.
“Stop! Stop- wait!”
As her tiny voice yelled, Kinger paused and brought his hand up to his face in surprise, his constantly wide eyes staring at her in curiosity and confusion.
“Oh, Gangle. You startled me…”
He sounded exasperated from the screaming. She was still shaken up from the unexpected flailing… though Gangle supposed she should have suspected that considering startling Kinger was never a good idea.
“Uh.. sorry, Kinger.. I-I don’t know what happened to me”
She sounded like she was on the verge of tears. Without her comedy mask, that’s how she always felt. Small. Sad.
Only now that was literal.
“Hm… well, maybe it was your mental perception of yourself losing your mask, causing you to feel mentally small, turning you physically small.”
He spoke with a surprising amount of sense. Gangle stared at him for a moment.
“You mean… my digital form matched my mind…?”
“…. Your what?”
Immediately Kinger went back to his own strange mental state, forgetting everything he had just said. Gangle sighed and decided not to bring it back up, instead wanting to focus on her original plan.
“Just… can you take me to Caine?… I-I don’t.. like this.”
“Right, yes, of course!”
He made his way around the circus tent, searching, while also keeping his palms cupped against his royal cape. They continued like that until eventually they spotted the AI ringmaster dusting the ceiling of the tent upside down. After calling his name once he was levitating in front of them, his boisterous voice boomed.
“Well, hello Kinger! Any particular reason for disrupting my cleaning duties?”
The chess piece held up his hands. Gangle stared up at Caine with an apprehensive look before muttering.
“H-hi… can you fix this..?”
“Well, let’s see…”
Caine inspected the tiny figure, a hand where his chin would be if he had one.
“A glitch! Simple fix, Gangle! There!”
He snapped, and suddenly Gangle was normal sized again, causing Kinger to scream again and drop her. She dusted herself off and looked down at herself. She didn’t expect it to be that easy….
“Hey… Caine… could you also… f-fix my comedy mask..?”
She asked hopefully, wanting her other face fixed if Caine had already helped her once so simply.
“Hm… No! But… An adventure will cheer you up!”
Gangle gave a saddened whine as a collection of groans sounded throughout the tent, signaling that the others had heard the unfortunate words of adventure.
Maybe next time.

SBI au’s
hey everyone, of course everyone knows what I’m talking about when I say that recent events regarding a certain Cc has put me in a situation.
I am 100% on Shelby’s side
#shelbysupportsquad
however, this news has made me very conflicted, as my most popular au, our little brother, has been mainly crimebois based… I don’t want to take down the parts of this fic I have out so far, I also don’t want to stop writing for it completely.
I understandably feel proud of my work as it was the first fic I ever started on, and I know the feeling of an au you enjoy being deleted.
so, I’ve decided that for the foreseeable future, our little brother will have some changes to future plot, in the next chapter I will give an excuse for the absence of his character and this fic will now be focusing on bedrock bros, along with the other characters I originally planned to add in.
I am still reeling from the information that came out so I won’t be posting for a little while as I clear my head but I hope that all of you are doing okay. Everyone has the right to feel hurt and upset right now. Goodbye for now, folks.

Cause for Celebration
hey guys, here’s the new years fic I impulsively decided to write last minute. Sorry to say it’s not beta read or checked but it’s just a lil oneshot I wanted to get out before midnight.
tw ~ loud noise, Tommyinnit at night
word count ~ 930
Philza followed his daily routine just like he always did after sun down, he walked through the inner workings of the house, it’s walls and vent were familiar to him so much so that he didn’t even need a light when walking. He had rather good night vision as a borrower as well which he was glad for.
He made his way through the tunnel that would take him to the inside of the snack cabinet, admiring the way the light flittered through the cracks of the floorboards overhead. He liked the little things, pun intended, and tried to take things slow despite borrowers quick paced nature.
Not that he needed to be paranoid anymore, the humans of the house, the three beans that had been brothers without other family, knew about him.
No need to hide from the supposed danger, his sons. Despite them not being his by blood, his paternal instincts went wild when he first moved here, and he wasn’t even sure why until he was caught by Techno and found out they were orphans. That didn’t sit right with him.
So of course he had immediately adopted them all, regardless of the size difference and from that point on he was their father, their tiny father that loved them very much.
He was shaken out of his thoughts by loud footsteps running down the hallway he was under. It must be Tommy, that teenager still didn’t understand the concept of quiet, even with a tiny father.
Phil was curious to see what Tommy was so excited about though if his footsteps gave any indication to his mood. So he shifted his course to the nearest wall exit he had, though he still took his time getting there.
At least, he would have if not for the sudden pounding in the wall near his living room exit, accompanied by sounds of a gremlin child screeching for him, the familiar sound of:
“Phiiiilllll!”
He huffed to himself at his youngest’s attempt to get him out of the walls. Well, it worked, but Phil didn’t mind if his sons needed something.
“What do you want, gremlin child?”
He crossed his arms, walking out of the wall with a glare, no real heat behind it.
“It’s new years! You gotta celebrate with us, dadza!”
Now this was new… what was that? Sure, Phil knew human beans had holidays for a lot of things, a lot more than borrowers had, but new years? What was the point of celebrating a new year when it was just the passage of time?
Tommy seemed excited about it though, and Wilbur and Techno were there sitting on the couch too… he couldn’t say no to spending time with his sons.
“Alright.. so what exactly do we do?”
“Watch the ball drop, it’s on the television.”
Wilbur pointed to the TV, a machine he rather enjoy watching during family movie nights, it was on a channel show a brightly colored gigantic ball on a building and a countdown timer underneath it. Phil had to admit, the colors were very mesmerizing.
“And once the clock reaches zero we celebrate and drink.”
Techno chimed in with a smirk, Wilbur butted in at Philza’s apprehensive expression.
“Grape juice. We drink sparkling grape juice.”
He clarified with a chuckle, Phil sighed in relief, he couldn’t have his sons drinking alcohol at their ages, he knew that humans needed to be twenty one years old for some reason and he trusted human law when it came to his boys.
Philza agreed to staying and together the family watched the television and laughed, telling stories as time ticked on. It was times like this that made Philza truly happy in his lifetime. If he heard a year ago that this would be his life, sitting with humans who deemed him their dad in a home that felt safe, he’d scoff and say it was crazy…
He liked this crazy life.
Even as Tommy managed to drain his energy before midnight, passing out on the couch while Wilbur and Techno had a ‘civil’ argument with Phil sitting on Techno’s palm, he felt happy. This was the kind of life he thought wasn’t possible for a borrower like him yet he was living proof it was.
Finally his sons, minus Tommy, started counting down from 10
9
8
He was held close by Techno, the surface of his palm rough and textured nicely.
7
6
5
Phil was given to Wilbur and he was hugged against his chest, he clung to the fabric of his sons favorite yellow sweater, feeling comfort.
4
3
2
He looked at Tommy, his youngest son asleep, looking so peaceful as he slept. Phil smiled softly at his secure feeling.
1…
“Happy New Year!”
Three of the four shouted, Phil could care less about how his ears rang at the noise, he could only feel love as he watched his family, Tommy jumped up awake from the jump scare and shouted.
Once they calmed down from the height of the night they were all quick to settle down, the television was off and the lights were dim as the brothers relaxed on the couch, too tired to go to their respective bedrooms. Phil didn’t care though, because while they were all on the couch together it meant he didn’t have to go back to his room in the walls either.
He didn’t have anything to worry about as he laid down on a pillow in Techno’s lap between Wilbur and Tommy. Maybe new years wasn’t so bad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ happy new years! Hope y’all enjoyed and my posting schedule will hopefully get better so dw if you gave me a oneshot prompt!
One shot idea!!!! (cause more yes)
Neck cuddles.
That's it.
That's the prompt :3
hey beckyu! Here’s a lil oneshot for you, crimebois ofc :)
Thanks for the prompt and wow I haven’t written fluff in a bit (´∀`*)
Chilly cuddles
Tw ~ being cold, mentions of freezing, slight unintentional fearplay, feeling vulnerable, grabbing, Tommyinnit with a borrower
word count ~ 830
Wilbur sat in his home, shivering. The borrower hated how little insulation there was in the little space of the walls. He felt like he was freezing and it could have been his small size, or maybe the lack of fabric scraps he had other than a small blanket… he was usually somewhat prepared for things, but the sudden winter chill snuck up on him.
He knew he’d have to get warm somehow before he froze… or at least felt very chilly all night.
The sudden yelling from the outside of the walls caught his attention, and he got an idea, a stupid idea, but one that would work. Wilbur needed to get Tommy’s attention, then once the easy part was done, convince him to fix his cold problem.
Wilbur set out to one of the secret exit tunnels of his home, walking out into the open of Tommy’s bedroom. He’d never get over the feeling of being exposed out in the open, even after months of being friends with the human family in the house.
Though unfortunately, Philza and Techno were out of the house, leaving him with only the gremlin child to help, that’s never a good thing for him or his sanity.
“Tommy!”
He yelled up at the human playing games on his PC. He had to yell a few more times before he was able to get Tommy’s attention. Tommy looked down, locking eyes with Wilbur immediately. An instinctual shiver ran up Wilbur’s spine that wasn’t from the cold, but he held his ground.
“Wil! What’s up, big man?”
Tommy smiled at him, moving off his chair to sit on the ground in front of the borrower. Wilbur smiled up at Tommy with a slight eye roll at the nickname.
“Hey toms, could you get me a blanket or something? It’s cold.”
Tommy took notice of how Wilbur trembled, hunched over slightly with his arms wrapped around his torso, trying to retain body heat, and took pity on him.
“Ha, you look miserable.”
Tommy laughed at his misery as usual before Wilbur was grabbed. Tommy’s smug face took up his vision as Wilbur sat in his open palm. He usually hated grabbing and would yell a bit in protest, but this time, the warmth was appreciated.
He was taken to the living room as Tommy walked, albeit unsteadily, through the hallway and sat on the couch, putting Wilbur down on a blanket. It felt soft underneath him and Wilbur immediately grabbed a part of it to wrap himself in, though the leftover chill of it sitting in the cold air without body heat left him feeling colder.
Back to shivering, Wilbur groaned in annoyance.
“Tommy! I’m gonna freeze!”
“Well excuse me, I’m doing my best, thank you very much.”
“I don’t need your snark right now, child.”
Wilbur got a deep sense of satisfaction at the offended gasp that left the human's mouth. Though as he was grabbed again, that feeling soured back to annoyance.
“How dare you! I am the biggest man ever!”
The borrower winced at the volume of the yell, along with how close he was to the source as he was brought in front of Tommy’s face.
However, Wilbur realized how much warmer it was the closer he was to Tommy… so that was a plus. Then he had an idea.
“Toms! Hey!”
He yelled, getting Tommy’s attention and effectively silencing him. Tommy looked curious to what the typically soft-spoken borrower had to say.
“Can I just… lay on you for a bit?”
“..huh?”
“Like…”
Wilbur narrowed his eyes at Tommy, looking him over before stopping at a spot on his shoulder near the crook of his neck.
“There.”
He pointed at the spot. Tommy attempted to tilt his head to look at the spot, but found it was out of his eyesight, too close to his neck.
“Uh.. why?”
Tommy looked at him questioningly, genuinely confused at why the borrower wanted to be so close to him, despite Wilbur’s usual insistence on being left alone during his off days.
“Because I’m cold! Freezing even! And you’re warm, you human furnace.”
Wilbur glared with no real heat behind in. He knew Tommy would give in since the human never stood up an opportunity to be near the borrower.
That seemed to convince Tommy as he let out a laugh at the fuming look Wilbur had on, then carefully, or as careful as Tommy can be, he was placed on Tommy’s shoulder. Wilbur immediately struggled for balance and scrambled to cling to his neck, sitting right between the human's neck and hoodie collar, now secure.
The two spent the rest of the night like that, with Tommy actually settling down and watching a movie while feeling the borrower doze off against his neck. If he took a few selfies for himself that his tiny brother would be embarrassed about in the morning, then that was his own business.
————————
Hope you enjoyed that lil oneshot, honestly fluff isn’t so bad every once in a while… I can just give all my characters angst… cough our little brother cough cough something to remember…
:)
talking about g/t with irl friends
You heard it here folks, I’ve done it. I’ve been able to rant about g/t to my friends without the embarrassment of them figuring out I want to be tiny/have tiny friends. How did I do it? A simple formula. It’s normal for me to have an ‘icebreaker question’ that my friends and I talk about and the one I had been using for months got old so I scrapped it. Instead, I acted like I consulted with some friends about figuring out a new one and decided on this:
‘what would you do if you were tiny for 24 hours?’
seems simple enough and unassuming of any ulterior purpose but by asking my friends this question I have made them unknowingly fascinated with g/t. The past two days I’ve been surrounded with debate on what all my friends would do while tiny, such things involving having me take care of them or wanting to put me in a pocket.
this is the life, people ( ´∀`)
Run, Rabbit
here it is, the first fanfic I’ve ever written of tadc. I did this pretty quick so sorry if it’s not the best. I just love angst (and if you couldn’t tell, also Jax)
Tw ~ fear, panic, mentions of being prey, unintentional fearplay, grabbing, angst
word count ~ 1.5k
Jax was scared. That didn’t happen often, but he was terrified at the moment.
All because of Caine’s ‘newest adventure’ that he had no say in agreeing to. God, he wished he wasn’t in this stupid circus.
It had all started when Caine had run out of ideas for their daily adventures. The ai ringmaster searched for any possible game to play. He wanted to find something ‘new’ and ‘interesting’ for them to do…
Everyone was confused as he started talking excitedly about hide and seek, tag and all those other childhood games they knew as kids… Jax didn’t know how those were anything new, he couldn’t count how many times they played those games already while here.
Despite his reluctance, Jax decided to question Caine about how those were considered inspiring… that was his mistake.
Apparently, uttering a word in the quiet meant that he volunteered himself for the demonstration.
Caine had levitated over to him with an ‘I’m glad you asked!’ and that’s when his fate was sealed. If he could only keep his lips as closed as his teeth.
So now Jax was running. Fast. Though it wasn’t really doing much for him because at the moment…
He was doll sized.
Caine decided to make it ‘easier for him to win’ by shrinking him. According to the ai, he was much too tall to win at hide and seek…
Well… more like a mixture of rules form the multiple games, hide and seek, tag, etc. He didn’t know, and he didn’t care. All Jax knew was that he was being hunted by giants, the others, and he needed to run and hide for his life.
Technically, he wasn’t going to be killed, but… that’s how it felt… some twisted part of his mind told him that if caught, he would die, that he was in danger…
He hated how his digital body was a rabbit. Maybe that was why he was freaking out so much over being the ‘prey’ of this game. Hit too close to home with these new survival instincts he was experiencing for the first time.
Even as the fastest one in the circus, his loss of height made it near impossible to go faster than any normal sized person and he was out in the open at the moment, nothing but the vast area of the tent with nothing to hide inside.
Jax was jolted out of his thoughts by the sound of footsteps… large footsteps that shook the ground beneath him… there were only a few people in the circus who could actually make footsteps…
Well, at least he wasn’t found by the crybaby. That would be humiliating.
The thudding got louder as the giant got closer and Jax was really panicking now. He didn’t like to panic, and he definitely didn’t want whoever found him to see him panicking…
So he continued to run… but he knew he’d have to face a giant eventually, whether that be getting caught or having to be seen by Caine to be grown back after winning.
He wasn’t paying attention to where he was running until he ran right into a giant building block, falling on his back. The blue letter ‘L’ on it mocking him as he rubbed his head.
That’s when he heard it..
“Jax!”
The volume of her voice hurt his ears as he looked up…
And up…
And up at the gigantic rag doll that was a few feet away, looking at him with a terrifying triumphant expression.
Jax immediately began to backtrack, scrambling back on the hard floor away from Ragatha, not able to take his eyes off her.
That didn’t stop her from stepping closer, a smirk on her face as she closed the distance between them in just two normal sized steps.
He watched her kneel down, Ragatha’s hand moving towards his tiny body.
Jax felt his ears press down against his head… well.. that’s embarrassing. He looked pathetic at the moment, but he didn’t care. All he cared about was the instincts buzzing around his head, telling him to run and hide. It wasn’t a game for him now…
The rabbit felt the giant hand wrap around his waist, lifting his feet off the ground like he was an actual toy. He hated that feeling, but he couldn’t speak more than a slight whimper that made it past his lips.
Ragatha was talking to him. He could see her giant mouth moving… but he couldn’t pay any attention… just staring wide eyed as his lips were open in a slack jawed frown, his solid yellow teeth on display.
Jax felt his body trembling, his arms stuck at his sides in the fist and his legs limp, held so high off of the ground.
“H-hey doll face…”
He tried to give his signature grin to save face, but that was much harder than he thought…
“Uh.. Jax?… are you okay? You look a little pale.”
He noticed that she didn’t mention the shaking, or the wide-eyed stare, or his ears firmly down against his head…
“I’m fine… congrats. You won the stupid game.
Now, p-put me down.”
Jax tried to convince Ragatha to put him back on solid ground in an attempt to be snarky… honestly, anything was better than being held by a giant, even if it meant having to look all the way up at her.
“Uh… shouldn’t I take you to Caine?”
Right… he forgot about that, he’d need Caine to unshrink him, but the thought of not being on the ground within the next five seconds made him want to curl up and shake more than he already was… he couldn’t do that in Ragatha’s hand though, he’d never hear the end of it.
Even though Jax knew it was probably easier to just let her carry him to Caine, he still got a feeling of dread about the fact she had turned down his demand… he felt like it wasn’t taken seriously.
“I can walk on my own. "
He grunted while squirming in her fist. She opened up her hand so he was laying on her flat palm. He moved to stand but struggled to balance from the plush fabric surface of her skin.
Ragatha chuckled at his statement.
“Yeah, right, and let you get lost on the ground somewhere? No way. Caine probably wouldn’t even see you down there.”
Jax groaned in irritated acceptance, with a slight undertone of fear from the prospect of being carried for who knows how long since Caine liked to roam around often.
“Fine… take me to him then, and make it quick. I don’t got all day.”
He made a show of sitting cross-legged on her palm and crossing his arms, forcing his ears back up with will power and spite. Jax kept his surprised yelp to a minimum as she started walking with her giant strides again, refusing to look at the floor very far below to him.
Caine was smaller than Ragatha so it wasn’t too hard to look at him, but those giant teeth made him shudder like the first time he arrived here.
Finally… he was set on the ground and with a snap from the ai he was back to his tall self. Jax relished in his size and internally sighed in relief as the nightmare of being a tiny hunted rabbit was over with. He wanted it all to be put behind him, never thinking about that again until… he realized that those instincts didn’t go away.
He was still… jumpier than before, more cautious with noises… and though he didn’t have one, he bet if he did, his nose would twitch like crazy every time he froze at a loud sound.
Don’t get him wrong, he still showed no fear on his face, talked back to the others and NPCs during adventures and frequently screwed with anyone unfortunate enough to be in his vicinity… but now it was slightly different. He was slightly different.
Something about feeling like small prey in a twisted game of chase, even if it was only in a digital reality, stuck with him… and once those weird new survival instincts unlocked over running from the giant characters he was stuck with… they couldn’t be put back in the bottle that easily.
Jax hated this. Why did his digital body have to be a rabbit?
No one seemed to mention it though, whether they even noticed his strange behavior or not. Though Ragatha gave him some odd glances once in a while that he met back with an unamused glare.
I think one shots are fun
Tho can you tell me what tadc is
I'm gonna read it regardless but I don't know what it is just that everyone started talking about it all of a sudden
hey, 3D! Thanks for the dm and reading my stories! Tadc is short for ‘the amazing digital circus’, the pilot episode is on YouTube and it’s relatively new. I think it’s a pretty interesting video game based cartoon and it doesn’t have enough g/t (nothing has enough g/t XD)
Something to Remember pt. 3
the long awaited au is back! I tried to get this out as fast as I could, hope you guys enjoy it and like always please dm me any oneshot ideas or au questions!
(´∀`)
Tw ~ brief panic, arguing, brief falling (no injury), borrower Tommy
word count ~ 1.5k
There was a quiet sigh of relief as Tommy pulled Tubbo back into the safety of the walls. The two borrowers looked at each other in silence before hugging tightly, unbalanced enough to almost send them to the floor.
Tubbo Let out a shaky laugh as Tommy took deep breaths. They had just talked with a human and survived.
Granted, the human was ranboo.
But it still counted to them because of their old friend’s lack of memory.
“So… what now?”
Tubbo looked nervous, still shaking from adrenaline as he asked.
“We gotta get outta here.”
Tommy looked serious. It was rare and scared Tubbo slightly whenever his typical jokester of a friend was dead serious.
“But… Ranboo…”
“-is a human and doesn’t remember us. Now that we know he’s gone, we can leave.”
The shorter borrower made a quiet, sad whine at Tommy’s words. Yes, that whole experience was terrifying and nothing like how Ranboo was with them before, but… they weren’t cruel.
“Are we sure he’s gone, though? They let us go so Ranboo still isn’t as dangerous as other humans… maybe it’s best we stay.”
Tommy opened his mouth to respond, but briefly paused at the desperation in his best friend’s eyes. He sighed and closed his eyes. Tommy needed to stand his ground.
He couldn’t lose his only other friend.
“We need to go, tubs. I’m sorry, but you know the rules.”
Then Tommy turned away, not wanting to see the hurt on Tubbo’s face, walking deeper into the walls to get some space.
Tubbo watched his back as Tommy left, disappearing into shadows that even with his heightened night vision he couldn’t see through.
Then he was alone.
Next to the hole to Ranboo’s room.
A plan came to his mind, an amazing and foolproof plan.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ranboo couldn’t get to sleep.
How could they when they just completely screwed up that social interaction? What was he thinking? He acted so weird and now he’d probably never see them again. Why did they suck at first impressions?
Well, maybe first impressions. The smaller one knew his name already somehow, and he feels like he knows them.
Either way, they’d most likely never get another chance to see those to ever agai-
“Hey! Ranboo!”
Ranboo looked around the room as their name was called, locking eyes with a small figure on his bedroom floor.
It was one of the little guys from less than an hour before. What was he doing here? Where was the other one?
When Ranboo looked at him, the little guy, Tubbo, froze. He looked scared, like he’d run at any twitch of Ranboo’s body.
They both knew Tubbo wouldn’t get very far at this point, though.
“You-… Tubbo? What are you doing here?”
Tubbo jumped slightly at his name being used. Or maybe Ranboo was just imagining things.
“I just think… we should get to know each other! I mean, we are roommates after all, bossman.”
Ranboo was confused, roommates? Did that mean the two tiny guys lived in his room?
Well, they supposed that didn’t matter since he’s technically the guest here now, having moved out over a year ago.
“So… what do you want to know?”
Ranboo was surprised by how easily he felt comfortable opening up to Tubbo, but didn’t take back his question.
The two talked for hours about everything, from what college is, to how borrowers get resources. It was nice having someone to talk to. Ranboo was in the middle of explaining what a phone is when Tubbo suddenly jumped up from where he was sitting, having moved to the bed after the first hour.
“Wait, is the sun up already!?”
Ranboo jumped at the shout before looking at his phone. It was almost six in the morning and the sky was beginning to brighten.
“I- sorry bossman, I gotta go! If Tommy notices I’ve been gone for so long, he’ll kill me! Especially if he knows I was talking to you!”
The human nodded. It would not be good if the other borrower caught them. It would be better to keep this meeting a secret.
“It’s alright, Tubbo, I’ll… see you later?”
Ranboo realized then that once Tubbo went back in the walls, there was no guaranty they would be able to meet again.
“Well.. only if you can catch me first!”
Tubbo grinned as he jumped off the edge of the bed.
Ranboo panicked immediately, nearly falling off the bed themself while attempting to grab him.
As they leaned over the edge of the bed, they sagged with a sigh of relief when they saw that the insane borrower had landed comfortably in a pile of Ranboo’s comforter hanging off the bed.
Tubbo chuckled at the human’s concern and stretched out on the soft material before standing up.
“Bye-bye, big guy!”
The borrower waved dramatically, starting to walk away from the bed.
Ranboo saw just how small his new friend was as he walked the length of the room. It took him much longer than the couple of steps it would take Ranboo. It was an odd sight for Ranboo, especially this early in the morning.
They watched Tubbo disappear behind their bookshelf, probably where his home entrance was. Then Ranboo was alone in the room again.
What now?
So there are… borrowers living in the walls of his childhood home? What does he even do with that information?
Does he tell his parents..? But Tubbo said they were a secret…
Ranboo didn’t know what to do at this point… but something still bugged them.
Why did they both seem so familiar?
That was the one thing that he didn’t understand… and talking with Tubbo just made his head hurt.
It made no sense to Ranboo how these creatures had been living here without ever being noticed and yet somehow everything about them was so… nostalgic.
Like the childhood memories he didn’t know he had. Why was that?
Ranboo couldn’t keep thinking about it. They were too tired, had too much of a migraine.
So, they decided to just go to sleep and stop with the questions they didn’t have any answers to.
___________________
Tubbo ran through the wall tunnels, his eyes adjusted to the lack of light and he knew the passageway from Ranboo’s room by heart at this point.
He hoped Tommy wouldn’t ask too many questions… maybe if he was lucky Tommy wouldn’t question him at all? He made it to their main base, their home.
“Where were you?”
Tommy stood in the main room with his arms crossed, a suspicious look on his face.
“Look, toms…”
He sighed. Tubbo couldn’t just lie to Tommy, his friend.. his only family.
“I… was with Ranboo.”
Tommy gasped, but wasn’t all that surprised by the truth. It made sense Tubbo would do that right after Tommy told him not to.
“Of course you were..”
Tommy grumbled. Tubbo couldn’t help but look away. He was never good at disagreeing with Tommy, especially about something so important like moving… but they had to have this conversation.
“Tommy. We shouldn’t move.”
“Wha- we have to! The borrower code- “
“Who cares! We never followed that anyway! The only difference now is that Ranboo is just… a bit lost.”
Tommy scoffed at that. It was so much more than that to him.
“They aren’t even Ranboo anymore… they don’t remember us, Tubbo!”
“Well, maybe they would if-! I-if…”
Tubbo started to yell, but the words died on his tongue. It wasn’t fair to bring that up… it wasn’t fair to blame anyone for what happened back then.
Tubbo sighed.
“Just… we can’t give up on him again…”
The tension between them died down, both borrowers didn’t want to fight anymore, they hated fighting with the only other person they had…
“Fine…”
Tubbo perked up at the unexpected response from his pseudo brother.
“What?”
“Fine, we… can try to talk to him…”
Tubbo looked at Tommy for a moment, shocked that Tommy of all people would agree to something and not be totally stubborn. Then Tubbo gave a sheepish smile and fidgeted with his hands.
“So… about that..”
“You talked to them already, didn’t you?”
Tubbo couldn’t help himself when he started laughing loudly at Tommy’s unimpressed look, not used to the childish borrower ever acting this serious. Soon enough, both were cackling at the absurdity of the whole situation.
The next few hours were filled with Tubbo’s retelling of speaking with Ranboo and eventually leading to the borrowers telling old stories of nostalgia back when they were a trio.
After all of the memories and jokes, Tubbo looked at Tommy with puppy eyes in a silent question. In response, Tommy sighed in surrender.
“Alright, tomorrow I’ll come to see him with you… but only to make sure he keeps his hands to himself!”
There was a victory cheer from the shorter borrower. That night, though there would be a lot of anxiety tomorrow, the two borrowers seemed to sleep with a weight lifted off their chests.

hope you enjoyed and remember to eat, drink and sleep! (I’m such a hypocrite :) )

Our little brother pt. 5
Here it is, folks! The poll winner is completed, and wow, I didn’t realize how popular this au was XD
Expect part 3 of something to remember later in the week! I promise I didn’t abandon it (´∀`*)
tw ~ confusion, dehumanization, minor injuries, falling, grabbing, minor panic word count ~ 1.5k
Wilbur leaned over the desk slightly closer to the little borrower in anticipation, waiting for any sound to be made. He wasn’t even sure what he wanted to happen…
If ‘Tommy’ spoke, then what would that mean? He and Techno kidnapped some tiny person? When they found him, they thought he was just a strange, undiscovered creature that needed a home, but… was he just… a kid? A really tiny one?
Tommy slowly parted his lips while staring up at him with wide eyes, intimidated by Wilbur’s looming body, but Wilbur didn’t seem to notice that.
Then he spoke. A small raspy voice stuttered a short response..
“A-am I what?”
Wilbur was speechless. Tommy could speak. He heard it himself and answered in shock.
“I- sentient..? It’s- like- are you a person…?”
He explained more, even though the answer was obvious now.
“Uh.. yeah?”
Tommy said quietly. He shifted on his feet under Wilbur’s intense, surprised stare.
Wilbur soon realized after a few moments of silence that this seemed awfully like an interrogation…
That wasn’t his intention, and he started to feel the guilt weighing on his shoulders that was there since this all started. It was growing heavier. Now that it was confirmed in his mind, he was reeling.
As Tommy took a tiny step back, Wilbur realized he had been staring for a while. He quickly leaned back in his chair to give the tiny boy some space.
“So… you… what are.. you?”
Wilbur attempted to sound nonchalant, but his hesitation caused him to sound much less calm and collected.
Tommy bristled at the question and stuttered out something Wilbur couldn’t hear.
“Uh.. pardon?”
Wilbur tilted his head slightly and leaned in a bit more to hear him better.
“I’m.. uh… a borrower…”
“A… huh?”
Wilbur had never heard of a creature with a name like that before, a borrower? Like someone who takes things? It seemed made up honestly, but… if he heard about finding a tiny kid a few weeks ago, he’d probably think that was fake too.
Wilbur sighed. He had so many questions, but he didn’t want to overwhelm the poor little guy… well… more than he already probably was.
The two just went back to awkwardly staring at each other, silent and tense… neither knew what to do now.
They didn’t have much time to come up with anything to do now before there was a knock at the door.
Both the human and borrower jumped slightly at the sound. Wilbur stood up quickly, not seeing the way Tommy scrambled back at that. The human walked to the door and opened it. Techno stood on the other side.
“Hey, wil… can I see… uh.. Tommy?”
Techno spoke curiously and something about that rubbed Wilbur the wrong way… he thought about how he probably sounded the same before he knew… before he realized Tommy’s sentience.
“Why..?”
Wilbur subconsciously moved to block Tommy from view, oddly protective of him.
“Come on, you’ve had him all day. I wanna see the little guy.”
It would be suspicious if Wilbur were to refuse that… it seemed like any average request for… sharing a pet…
Oh Prime, he needed to tell Techno…
“Wilbur?”
He’d been quiet for too long.
“Uh, yeah… sure..”
Wilbur stepped aside to let techno into his room. Techno walked through the doorway and looked around.
The first thing both humans noticed was Tommy attempting to climb down the desk leg…
There was only a split second to react before Tommy flinched at the two giant gazes and lost his footing, falling fast to the floor.
Techno, being more quick to act, lunged out and caught him inches before he hit the ground. The landing was still painful though as the kid let out a pained yell when his body collided with the large hand.
————————————
Tommy felt a jolt of pain through his right shoulder as he fell right into the pink-haired human's hand. Techno… the scary one.
It was bad enough he got caught… for a third time… but now he was also feeling like his arm was gonna hurt for a while.
He didn’t wanna look at it… he didn’t wanna open his eyes at all, knowing the humans were probably still staring at him…
Then he felt another giant hand touching him, examining him… it was softer than the one he was on… so it had to be Wilbur.
Very slowly, he opened his eyes and, like he was expecting, all attention was on him.
“Is he okay!? He made a noise. Is he hurt!?”
Wilbur panicked above him but he didn’t have the energy to move anymore, tired physically and mentally from everything that happened to him…
Techno lifted him up higher as he stood once again and kept Tommy in a cupped palm, inspecting him…
Like a cool bug, Tommy thought bitterly.
“He seems fine.. a bit hurt in the shoulder, but nothin’s broken…”
Techno’s voice was surprisingly soothing now for some reason. Tommy realized how tired he was…
He fell asleep as he briefly heard Wilbur say something loudly, but he didn’t care anymore.
————————————
There was a dull ache in his shoulder as he woke up… still tired, but the sleep felt nice while it lasted.
The room he was in was dark and he was surrounded by something soft and fluffy… he was disoriented and for a moment it was just like the walls… he missed the walls…
Tommy wanted to wake up back in the walls like nothing happened. All of this was just a weird, scary dream, but… nothing in the walls was this soft on his skin.
He opened his eyes and sure enough; he was greeted with a giant room; he rested in a cloth nest much like the one he used to have in the walls but.. nicer… he’d never be able to borrow something this nice, it would be missed for sure.
He was on the desk still… the room was empty now, though… they left him alone…
He could use this.
Tommy stood, only a bit unbalanced on his feet, his tail wrapped around his leg tightly. He briefly attempted to pull it off of his leg to stop the tingly feeling of losing circulation from his thigh down.
Eventually, he gave up and started walking to the edge of the desk.
He looked over the edge. It would be a long way down… and he couldn’t even climb anymore.
That theory was proved, as he felt a painful twinge in his right shoulder.
He was stuck…
There… wasn’t any escape this time.
He had finally run out of luck and now he really was forced to wait for the humans to return when he could have been halfway down the desk leg by now.
Tommy didn’t have to wait long until the two humans walked into the dark room, turning on the light. He couldn’t see as his eyes tried to adjust quickly to keep watch on the human’s movements.
He heard Wilbur talking… he decided to listen.
“-chno, I’m serious! Look at the kid! He’s literally just a little person. He even looks human.”
“Wilbur, he has a tail…”
“So?”
Wilbur lightly shoved Techno with a scoff. Tommy couldn’t help but be confused. What was he saying? They had to be talking about him, but… why was Wilbur calling him a little person?
Tommy’s knee buckled unexpectedly, causing him to nearly collapse, and he let out an involuntary yell of panic. Immediately, his hand slapped over his mouth… but it was too late.
“Hey, he’s up.”
Curse Techno’s good hearing.
Wilbur walked up to the desk, his hands hovering around Tommy’s shaking form.
“Sunshi- Tommy, are you alright? What hurts?”
Tommy stared at the hands around him and the giant they belonged to, then he held his arm… he didn’t wanna tell humans about his vulnerability, but they were the ones… taking care of him.
“I… my shoulder kinda…”
He took notice of the subtle way Techno’s eyes widened at his voice.
“I’ll… get some pain meds…”
Techno shuffled awkwardly out of the door to find something to give the tiny boy. How he would do that? No one had a clue.
Tommy was just confused now… the humans, they had him now, stuck and forced to be in their care yet…
They didn’t seem all that happy…
He saw how Wilbur looked down at him with… worry? Concern?…guilt?
They both looked happy to have him before, but now that they saw he could speak, they suddenly want to keep their distance.
It was like a switch had been flipped. Tommy thought he should be the on edge one, yet the humans he feared all his life looked to be taking that role.
How strange…
