I don't understand how at 5'8 and a size 2 I'm still fat. I thought I'd be skinny by now. And then I remember those models are a size 0 or even a 00 and they're taller than me, so I'm not there yet.

My measurements are finally 34-24-34 but I'm 5'7 and thus too fat for Victoria's Secret seeing as their models have my measurements and are much taller than me. Guess I need to lose another few inches all over😣

approaching weight from a position of fat vs thin is flawed and mentally risky. ED sufferer here. it's far better to approach it from a position of healthy vs unhealthy, and cut back on xyz because they have too much of what you're already getting. I hope for the best for you, society and media don't make it easy for people to be comfortable with their bodies. You can never be thin enough for them.
Thank you my heart sort of skipped and dropped when I read this. I do have a problem with eating I just don’t really know what to do about it because I don’t want to be under a doctor. I go to the gym everyday and try to eat little. Luckily my boyfriend does encourage me to eat a lot and although I post some quite self destructive things I’m 100 steps ahead of where I was a year ago when I was more like 110lbs at 5'7, very underweight. I think I’m going through a wave during recovery of backwardsness but this message gave me a kick in the backside to stop looking at the thinspo tag so much and being sucked into old habits.It's hard to get healthy not skinny into my head
Also my bf made me delete instagram and he did t with me this morning which made me feel so loved and supported.

Cutting out foods
I've decided that if I'm not completely in love with the taste of the food it's cut out. Fussy eaters are usually skinnier. I was thinking this when I was eating chocolates binging and thought I'm going to end up being fat as hell if I carry on like this, so what should I do without cutting it out completely so I don't give up and binge. So this is what I did. This is from a cardburys chocolate mixed bag I got from the outlet store chocolates I can have: Orange cream Strawberry cream Caramel Truffle Pure chocolates I can't have/don't want: Fudge Toffee Hazelnut of any sort Creme egg Hard toffee Just by cutting chocolates out I don't like as much and giving them away means I've halved the chocolate box and thus 1 step towards self control

I know I'm thin. I'm more terrified of gaining weight than I am wanting to lose more of it. It's a constant battle in my head of not knowing how to maintain weight because my whole life I've either been gaining or losing it.
