Jordan Belfraud: The Wolf of Fraud Street
by: Roberto H. Reynoso II
In this blog post, I will be giving a movie review on the film entitled “The Wolf of Wall Street” which was directed by Martin Scorsese way back in 2013 and was starred by Leonardo DiCaprio. But before that, allow me to give you a short background and some insights regarding the film.
First of all, the film was actually based off a memoir of the same name which was written by the actual Jordan Belfort himself. Yes, you read that right. This means that most of the events that were shown in the film have actually happened in real life. So, let’s begin.
 Wall Street
The film starts with Jordan Belfort starting off his career as a stockbroker in L.F. Rothschild under Mark Hanna, who orients him on how business works in Wall Street. Initially, he thinks that it is possible for both the client and the business to make money at the same. This was disagreed by Mark, saying that all they have to do is “move your client’s money into your pocket.”
 Long Island
Unfortunately, things didn’t go well for him in Wall Street and he takes up a job in a small brokerage firm in Long Island which specializes in penny stocks. After learning that he gets to earn 50% commission, he then starts to sell penny stocks to clients at a much higher price. This was made possible through a bunch of lies that fooled the clients into investing.
 Stratton Oakmont
His fraud continued on and started to grow. He, together with his other friends, then founded Stratton Oakmont as a way of making it sound more trustworthy to the clients. It didn’t take long until the firm has grown large enough to catch the attention of the FBI.
 F.B.I.
Years later, the FBI finally arrest Jordan through the confession of his accomplice, Saurel. At this point, Jordan was offered leniency by the FBI if he agrees to cooperate in ratting out his colleagues, which he does.
 Post-Imprisonment
After spending a shorter than expected time in jail, Jordan Belfort is now a changed man who helps other people reach success by giving talks on how to sell effectively.
Now that we have summarized everything that happened in the film, the question is: How was Jordan Belfort as a business leader?
In my opinion, he was both a good and a bad leader for different reasons.
Let’s start with the good traits. I believe that these are some good traits that can be seen in Jordan Belfort but somehow was used in the wrong way.
Passion - Since the start of the film, we can see how passionate Jordan is with what he is doing. Despite being in very challenging situations, he was very eager to learn and he used everything that he learned in order to continue what he loves doing. This is very important in a business because when you love what you’re doing, it’s going to serve as your drive in achieving more.
Compassion - Even though Jordan wasn’t as compassionate towards his clients because all he cares about is their money, we can still see that he shows much compassion towards his employees. This can be proven by that time where one of his employees asked for $5,000 in advance for the tuition fee of her son and Jordan gave him $25,000. Compassion leads to better and deeper relationship with one another.
Persuasion - We can also observe that Jordan is very skilled when it comes to persuasion. He can make you believe everything he says and you’ll think it’s the truth. That’s what happened to most of his clients which led to him being rich. Even though he used his persuasion skills in the wrong way, persuasion is very important in a business because it leads to partnerships and better negotiations within and between businesses.
Influential - We can also consider Jordan as very influential because his beliefs and actions has inspired a lot of people to do the same. This is proven the huge number of applicants trying to earn a spot in his company. Despite being influential, I don’t think that he is a good kind of influence to the people because of the many wrong things that he does.
Innovative - Throughout the film, we can see how Jordan is able to work his way to the top. He was an an employee in a small brokerage firm before yet he managed to become a millionaire. In every business, a leader must be innovative because a business without progress will not lead to success.
Second, here are some of the traits that I believe are not good in nature and have led to the mistakes that Jordan committed.
Greed - I strongly believe that all of Jordan’s mistakes are rooted from his greed. He has been blinded by his extreme desire to become rich and successful that he forgot about his principles. He forgot to think about the consequences of his actions and all he thought about was how to get more money from his clients and to put it into his and the company’s own pockets.
Dishonesty - Because of the extreme greed that Jordan possessed, it has led him to become desperate which is why he became dishonest both to himself and to the people around him. He started telling lies in order to sell more stocks. Everyone did the same thing as him.
Drug Abuse - First of all, the drugs that were mentioned in the film were all illegal. Second, he was abusing all the drugs while believing it is helpful for him. In reality, it has deteriorated his health in all aspects.
Sex Addiction - I think that there is a right time and place for everything but to have sex while in the workplace is not one of them. There was even a scene where prostitutes were invited in their workplace which I believe is very unethical because that is not part of their work as stockbrokers and it is also not good for those prostitutes for the respect is being lost.
All in all, there are really a lot of lessons to learn from watching “The Wolf of Wall Street”. Here is a summary of everything that I’ve realized:
“Easy come, easy go.”
When you work hard for something, it will also be hard to take away from you. However, if you cheat your way to something, it will have a lot of consequences and it won’t lead to the same feeling of success and happinesss.
“Fairness and Justice”
In every business, fairness is need because it promotes good communication and it also entails justice. We need a proper perspective at all times and we should always strive to get the right thing done.
“Equality and Equity”
We aren’t always equal and we have different needs. Therefore, must recognize these so that we can promote fairness among each other.
“Accountability”
We should always be accountable for everything that we do. This involves owning up to our mistakes and doing our best to correct and make amends for them.
“Transparency”
Transparency is not a violation of privacy. What it does is it promotes an avenue for open communication and constructive criticism.
APPLICATION:
“If I were to become a business leader in the future, I would establish my own Code of Conduct and I will strive my best to set a good example not only to my employees but to the rest of the world as well.”

wolf RAWR wolf
A movie review of "The Wolf of the Wall Street" By: Jerome Marvic L. Bustos 10:35 PM
Tumblr media
Who is Jordan Belfort? Jordan Belfort is the person who have it all charisma, money, brains but he is also greedy, a drug user, and alcoholic. Jordan Belfort is a very successful businessman but he is different from the others Jordan B. is a dirty scumbag who steal money from his customers and use it for his own good. JB have his own ways in persuading his customers to buy everything he sells at any price he give. JB is only interested in five things first is money second is sex third is drugs and alcohol fourth is traveling the world and last is money.
You can't deny it that you have not dream nor imagine to be succesful and rich someday OF COURSE we all did who doesn't want to be rich and have everything he/she wants? Every single day that we go to school or go to work we all have one question and that is "When will this all end?". Studying or working is our path to become the best among the rest.
Tumblr media
But there is one fact that we all envy JB is a very wise men and very open minded to business and we can't deny it that he became succesful even though he is a dirty businessman he have his own ways to be succesful and to become number one but he doesnt have the characteristics of a good leader and being a good leader need to have this traits:
1) Honesty and Integrity - these are two important ingredients which make a good leader. How can you expect your followers to be honest when you lack these qualities yourself? Leaders succeed when they stick to their values and core beliefs and without ethics, this will not be possible.
2) Confidence - To be an effective leader, you should be confident enough to ensure that other follow your commands.
3) Commitmend and Passion - Your teams look up to you and if you want them to give them their all, you will have to be passionate about it too. When your teammates see you getting your hands dirty, they will also give their best shot. It will also help you to gain the respect of your subordinates and infuse new energy in your team members, which helps them to perform better. If they feel that you are not fully committed or lacks passion, then it would be an uphill task for the leader to motivate your followers to achieve the goal.
Tumblr media
As a future molder of the corporate world I will be a good servant of our country and the whole world. I will use the skills and traits of a good leader to become an example to others. I will do my very best to contribute the needs and want of my future company. I will make Jordan B. as one of my inspirations to be more open-minded in business. As a future leader I cannot promise anything but i will do my very best to end all the struggles and problems my future company will have.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS!!

A Wolf like Jordan Belfort
A movie review on “The Wolf on Wall Street” by Ryeherzia A. Sanchez
Jordan Belfort is a motivational speaker, an American author and a former stock broker at the ‘Wall Street’. He was born in New York and possessed a natural talent of a good salesman at a very young age. He started out as a stock broker and churned out millions through illegal ways in the nineties through ‘Stratton Oakmont’, an investment company owned by him. Upon the claws of law-enforcement agencies tightening around him, Jordan pleaded guilty for cheating several investors and other crimes related to manipulation of stock market and for running a boiler room as a part of the ‘penny stock scam’. He spent about 22 months in prison and as part of an agreement, gave testimony against several subordinates and partners in his fraud schemes. Belfort has since then reformed his ways and conducted several motivational speeches. When he first started speaking, the topics were mainly on ethics and motivation but later he shifted focus to entrepreneurship and sales skills. In his speeches he has emphasized on how ethics play a crucial role in running a successful business and how to avoid the mistakes he had made in his career as a broker. Keep reading to know more about ‘the Wolf of Wall Street’. (retrieved from https://www.thefamouspeople.com/profiles/jordan-belfort-6511.php)
Tumblr media
Jordan Belfort as a business leader:
1. Honesty - He was very straight forward to all on his intentions specially when it comes to his workers/co-brokers in which he is very comfortable with.
2. Confidence - Even though he was lost from a big company, he was confident enough to enter a new small accounting firm and he even make that firm grow and bigger as possible as he can.
3. Inspire Others - One of the example of this is Donny, who live in the same building as Jordan Belfort influence him in which Donny even quit his job for Jordan’s because of his earnings.
4. Commitment and Passion - The fact that he even told her wife the they will not go to her aunt’s funeral is something he is passionate about for his business.
5. Good Communicator - He clearly communicate with everyone just like he can talk in front of his co-workers and talk as their leader, also to his friends in which he even influence to sell a pen.
6. Creativity and Innovation - This is where Jordan Belfort work with Steve Madden and have the 85% from him.
7. Delegate and Empowerment - Delegate tasks to his subordinates and trust the issues to them and by that, the subordinates will help them to improve.
8. Flexible - This is wherein he makes sure of his workers comfortable enough with what they are doing. Example of this is when Jordan Belfort is giving some benefits to his workers.
Jordan Belfort’s traits were exemplary and not:
The first thing that shows him as a role model is by Encourage from the Heart. Accomplishing extraordinary things in organizations is hard work. Just life if fall then do not be afraid to stand up again together with a strong feet. To keep hope and determination alive, leaders recognize contributions that individuals make. In every winning team, the members need to share in the rewards of their efforts, so leaders celebrate accomplishments. They make people feel like heroes. He serves as a role model just like how he influence others since that is what he is passionate about. Just like how he Inspire a Shared Vision to Donny and many others. He passionately believe that he can make a difference by living each of everyone in the best of both worlds. He breathe life into their visions and get people to see exciting possibilities for the future. He is also competent that he don’t settle for less. He always make sure that he is in a good condition. He knows his stuff. This is how he gain cooperation and respect from the team, you must exhibit competency in your profession.
For the other side, he also have weaknesses not just being a leader but also as a human being. I’ve seen him as he was Lack of Accountability when it comes to his personal life aside from his business. Just like he got addicted to illegal drugs and sex. This affect his business and leads him that the FBI investigated him. He was bad about the things about his business life between the stuffs he got addicted to. Some leaders, though, are unable or unwilling to shoulder this responsibility. In the end, this behavior is going to do very little to motivate a workforce to succeed.
Tumblr media
How can I practice business ethics and social responsibility as a future molder:
- Develop Ethical Standards
- Ensure Leaders Exhibit Proper Behavior
- Be Diligent About Enforcing Policies
- Praise Positive Behavior
- Promote Community Involvement
- Develop Transparency
- Be Innovative
- Have proper employees involvement
A lot of leaders fall down but not most of it step up. You should always move on, grow, start a new then step up. They are just your past and the don’t definitely define you. No how tough and rough your past is that it won’t matter. What matter is you wherein you can able to change for your present and future. As for that, I will end this with a quote,
“No matter what happened to you in your past, you are not your past, you are the resources and the capabilities you glean from it. And that is the basis for all change.”

“DEAL WITH YOUR PROBLEMS BY BECOMING RICH”
A movie analysis of the film entitled “The Wolf of Wallstreet”.
by: Erica Julia O. Jubilag    12 - ABM1
Tumblr media
Management plays a vital role in the workforce largely in part because they set the direction in which the employees move.
In the film, Jordan Belfort was introduced as a man of addictions on drugs, sex and most importantly, money. His need for achievement developed his need for power. As he rose through the ranks of stockbrokers on Wallstreet, his motivation shifted from becoming a successful broker to becoming the only most successful securities broker. This motivation ultimately led him to develop a manipulative personality, where he saw employees and customers as mechanisms in his sketchy scheme.
Tumblr media
Due to Jordan’s manipulative nature, he was able to persuade his employees that they were the makers of their own destiny and that through his proficiency, they could live the “rich” life. The employees joined Stratton and took on large debts to buy cars and clothes to live a lavish lifestyle promoted by Jordan Belfort. He chose to lead through example. He insisted that their employees live outside their resources and do whatever it takes to only focus on shallow and materialistic possessions. His employees were not interested to their income anymore rather, how they could live up to their boss’s expectations.
The management style Jordan used was not one of solidarity and employee satisfaction but use further personal ambitions and manipulate his employees into thinking they were helping themselves, rather than merely benefitting them. Because of this, the employees were stuck and nfortunately, due to the lack of education and experience in the industry of the employees, they were ignorant. In their eyes, they were making tons of money but trully, it was the money from Jordan that kept them sustain above the waterline.
In addition to persuading employees to live a lavish lifestyle, Jordan’s management style pushed employees to be competitive, impatient and aggressive. Employees were focused on making as much money as possible that they didn’t like the idea of having leisure time, also, his personality shaped his employees’ perceptions of themselves. Jordan was able to change the worker’s perceptions of self-worth by transforming employees from average salesman to potential owners of the company.
Tumblr media
Since organizational culture defined as a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguish the organization from other organizations, it gave a strong culture and became the unbreakable connection that everyone within the company shared and eventually developed dedication and absolute loyalty.
Gestures and composure also portray a big part values of organization. It creates a shared identity among employees. In the movie, it was seen on how Jordan performs a hum and bumming his chest as a source or encouragement and motivation for their employees. Rewards also serves as encouragement for employees, it creates a positive organizational culture and outcome. In the movie, Jordan encourages his employees by rewarding them with a grand celebration after achieving a goal. Celebrations emphasizes loyalty and dedication of the employees with their jobs. With this, we can conclude that effective leadership can enhance the performance and job satisfaction through motivation.
Tumblr media
Jordan persuades employees through the process of inquiry to trust and his goal was to control his employees with such power. Though he did not totally succeed with his plans, a suggestion I can give is to implement a board of directors to watch over the direction that the management is taking. They would be responsible for approving all business’ transactions and events. This would ultimately reduce the ability of manipulative management to influence the workforce.
To conclude, Jordan’s manipulative management style had a huge impact on the company’s employees, as well as, the company’s culture. Jordan was able to lead by example and train his employees to follow his footsteps. Employees were led to live a lavish lifestyle and taught that money is the answer to all problems and this lifestyle also led them to become dependent on their jobs which fueled employee’s loyalty to Jordan and the company.
As a future molder of this corporate world, we should start practicing the virtues, deciding not just for your own good but also for the good of others. We should always be open for changes, being responsible with our duties, giving justice inside the workplace, and alaso we should learn how to listen, to enable the workers to feel the sense of belongingness inside the organization regardless of their social status and differences.
“Ethics must begin at the top of an organization. It is a leadership issue and the chief of the executive must set the example.”

“The Good and Bad Traits of A Business Man”
Tumblr media
This is Jordan Belfort, the so called "Wolf of Wall Street" that made more than a million a week illegally. Now why is he a wolf? It's maybe because he was hungry for something and did what he can no matter the method to obtain what he wanted which was money.".Jordan Belfort was 23 years old when he was a stockholder to be rich. Mark Hannah thought him that his only responsibility is to put meat on the table. With the success of his company Jordan is a rich man. Money flows like water and Jordan starts living the most luxurious lifestyle his young mind can imagine. Jordan Belfort is a CEO of Stratton Oakmont. Jordan Belfort served 22 months for defrauding investors. need for personal gain and power, these things help Jordan to feel better about himself. Jordan has a lack of empathy towards others. He will do whatever even hurting others just to improve his self and get what he feels that he deserves in life and he is a manipulator. Being a successful business owner we must be 1. Driven because starting a business can be challenging, and some challenges call for a moderate amount of competitiveness, determination, and motivation. 2. Goal-Oriented because most successful business owners take time to set goals so they have clarity about where they are going and how they intend to get there. 3. Confident because being confident is very powerful characteristic of a entrepreneur. 4. Passionate, it helps you to overcome the challenges. 5. Humble, its is very important to a entrepreneur to be humble and never forget where they started from.  And last is be Focused and Open minded in handling a business because it is also important characteristics to a entrepreneur. For summarization, in order for us to be successful owners and molders of the corporate world, we should be driven, goal-oriented, confident, passionate, and humble because these things would help us to be better people in the future. We should always remember that empathy is something to be taken into consideration because if we would resonate with what others feel, then we can help make the corporate world a better place. - Godwin Dairocas

“Way of the Wolf”
A movie review of “The Wolf of the Wall Street” By: Francesca Nicole J. Carrillo  7:05 PM
Tumblr media
So for starter let me introduce
Jordan Belfort
motivational speaker, and former stockbroker. In 1999, he pleaded guilty to fraud and related crimes in connection with stock-market manipulation and running a boiler room as part of a penny-stock scam he spent 22 months in prison as part of an agreement under which he gave testimony against numerous partners and subordinates in his fraud scheme.
Jordan Belfort’s Ways of Success
All of us have our own way and capability to make everything to be successful but by the help of this movie Jordan Belfort teach us and educate us how to become a good leader. First, be a good speaker you should have the ability to communicate effectively to others and you should remember that communication is a vital part of success you know how to persuade them. Second, be flexible you know how to adapt to the environment and how you will act upon a certain circumstances and respect them. Lastly, be confident know your role as a business leader, having the ability to strengthen the skills of your employees and to be more authentic. But Jordan Belfort have this characteristic that he was obsessed with money and wealth that make him blind what is morally right and values that he should have as a business leader. Yes, He might help his employees for having a better life but ignoring the golden rule that should be compromised between him and their clients. Yes he has the concept of gaining profit but not just having a good profit to have a successful business but he also help their clients to have a better future.
Always Remember to be a effective leader..........
Be Authentic, Be Useful, Be Accepting, Be Vulnerable, Be Present.

Being a Wolf ( Future Molder)
As a future molder of this corporate world we should start to exercise appropriate virtues or values in our daily lives by deciding and treating everyone equal and with justice to achieve goodness, satisfaction and ultimately happiness. Being responsible to our actions ,behave in accordance with the expected excellence, to be potential in doing morally virtuous actions, being consistent on your visions. Giving what is morally right and receiving the true goodness of giving. Actions speaker louder than words, Words are just words but actions. We should be a wise decision maker where everyone can benefit. We should always be open for other opinions or suggestion because maybe these opinion can help to mold our self to become a better leader and by applying what we have experience. Having the wisdom, wisdom is earned and learned from our experience and practice and strengthened through practice and keeping the courage of smaller matters each day. Find our weaknesses and make it your strength. be tough and be consistent in everything that can help yourself not just only for yourself but for everyone. Honesty and courageous while being considerate, motivating, and have good tempered.
BE A WOLF.
opportunities aren't always reserved for the most worthy candidate. That's the beauty of opportunities: They're reserved for the hungriest candidate to take them. Wolf, defined as a verb, means to devour greedily.
Greed is not necessarily a bad trait, especially in regards to your goals. Be greedy. Take what's yours, and try to take what isn't yours. If it's out of line, you'll face the consequences -- but until then, hell, be a beast.

The Wolf of Greed
A movie review on “The Wolf on Wall Street” by Precious B. Villanueva” “Jordan Belfort”. Greedy, unapologetic, charismatic, but very opportunistic person. For him, greed is good. He taken by greed and that turns his life around. In the first part of the movie, I like the life he’s living and subconsciously want to be him but when I saw where his life ends up, I unconsciously said, “NO THANKS”.
Tumblr media
But in spite of it, we cannot deny the fact that he became a great business man but not as a leader because he has traits that shouldn’t be the qualities of a great leader. And to be a great leader, you should have this traits:
1.     Honesty – it may be seen as transparency and openness. You are responsible to your people and it’s important to be straightforward.
2.     Responsible – you need to take personal responsibility for failure and you work out how to fix the problem as soon as possible.
3.     Confidence – in times that your company facing a problem, keep your confidence up and stay calm so that the team would not worry as they put their trust in you.
4.     Delegate – even if you are in a high position in your company, remember that you can’t do everything on your own. You need to trust and believe to your employees that they are able to handle the task given to them.
5.     Communication – you need to have a clear communication with your employees so that they will understand your mission, goals, and vision.
Tumblr media
As a future molder of the corporate world, these are the things that I will do to become a good and successful leader:
-         Be a role model to inspire my team
-         Have trust to them
-         Treat everyone equally
-         Be approachable
-         Enjoy leadership
And lastly, we should all remember this!!

Straight outta Wall Street
A movie review on “The Wolf on Wall Street” by Paul John S.Tababa
Jordan Belfort is a man that came from a middle class family and reached the pinnacle of everyone’s hopes and dreams of becoming rich. But Jordan isnt an exception to the ups and downs of life.I’ll be frank about this. This guy has the life that everybody is dreamt of having,But being rich doesnt mean you have the rights to go against the law.
Tumblr media
As a person,Jordan belfort is a douche,Sure he is good with his friends but like at the same time he also treated everybody that he thinks that he can pay anyone to do anything that he says.He does A LOT of drugs and Sex. as jordan pays tens of thousands of dollars for drugs and to spend on strippers. He fuels the office environment with high levels of testosterone as it reached the level that people are open with sexual acts within the office when offered. He divorcedhis wife who’s been with him even in his ups and downs and  married someone he just meet because he felt a new kind of pleasure with her.Jordan treated his wife like a burden in a way because he still continues his hobby of pleasure and addiction even with the presence of their daughter. But worst of all,He swindled people who are hoping to earn money with stocks and had fun doing it.It is morally wrong but it looks like he doesnt give a single f about it as long as he earns money to fuel his luxurious lifestyle of addiction.
Tumblr media
As a business leader,Jordan Belfort is at the epitome of communication skills with the clients and the customer. He always conducts a informal meeting with all his employees to boost morale within the office. He also gives compensation to everyone with strippers depending on his moods with the profit. We can say that he has excelled in some qualities of being a good leader at the same time he forgot to acknowledge his weaknesses and doesnt want to improve upon them. The fact that he contacted some people to be his puppets to pretend to be the owner some shares there is a underlying greed with his intentions as becoming rich isnt enough to satisfy him as to he committed security fraud and money laundering. They didnt have a sense of guilt for more than 90% of the time because its either they’re high with drugs or occupied pleasuring themselves. But even if thats the case,They are still accountable for what they did as they know they duties and responsibilities within the company and the law.He entered wall street as a freshman with clean intentions of just earning money for a living and he got spitted out from wall street as a man without his pride and money.
As a future molder of the corporate world,I will use Jordan’s experiences as to remind me of what to avoid doing and what to do.First i will implement a tranparency within the company to avoid corruption and and also gain the trust of my colleague.I will also do my part as a part of a business not just financially but also socially as hopefully i can contribute to the business to function ethically. It is also best to avoid and report any kind of embezzlement to the company even if that person will resent you on what you did,Still you did what is ethically correct and helped the betterment of the company.
“But what I sincerely hope is that my life serves as a cautionary tale to the rich and poor alike; to anyone who’s living with a spoon up their nose and a bunch of pills dissolving in their stomach sac; or to any person who’s considering taking a God-given gift and misusing it; to anyone who decides to go to the dark side of the force and live a life of unbridled hedonism. And to anyone who thinks there’s anything glamorous about being known as a Wolf of Wall Street.”

GREED IS A HEART ISSUE
A movie review on “The Wolf on Wall Street” by Johanna Dela Cruz
"Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value."
 -- Albert Einstein
Tumblr media
All of us dream of becoming rich. We strive and strive until we reach our goal of becoming financially stable in the future. We all dream of being successful.
In the movie, Jordan Belfort is a man who seems to have everything he wants. Wealth, women, pleasure. He is a successful businessman, but unlike other businessmen, he does dirty things to keep his wealth and his position. He is not only into his business, but he also finds happiness and pleasure in drugs, sex, and other luxuries. His obsession with money does not end here, he also runs his business believing that the best way to be rich is to collect money from his customers and use it for his own good. His trait which I find exemplary is that he is able to do his job well. He has the ability to communicate with people very well. He knows how to convince them and he knows the words that would make his customers buy almost anything that he offers them at any price he wants. Also, he is very committed to his business that he does all he could just to stay on top of the game. In short, he is very passionate about making money. On the other hand, he also has traits in which I do not find admirable, As I've mentioned above, he does dirty things just to keep his money and his position. He is into drugs, he finds pleasure in women and in many illegal activities which make him unethical as a businessman.
Tumblr media
As a future molder of the corporate world, I can practice business ethics by always keeping in mind the principles I have in life. I will always apply the things I’ve learned from the past and use them as a guide in being a good and effective business leader in the future. I will also observe and do my social responsibilities by doing things which are beneficial for not just me, but also for other people. I will observe and maintain my ethical characters wherever I go so that I will also be able to influence other people to do their businesses with ethics. In relation with Jordan Belfort as a businessman, I will do business in a clean and ethical way. I will not get to the point wherein my world revolves around money and all I want in life is to get richer without considering the welfare of the people around me. As mentioned in the quote above, “Ä business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.” I will also keep in mind that business does not only focus in making money, but it also focuses on making the businessman and the people benefit and learn from each other.

The Wolf’s Success!
A movie review of The Wolf of Wall Street by Ussel Maricon M. Beramida
Tumblr media
Before Jordan Belfort became an aspiring business leader he started as a junior stock broker in a company. He was a decent and honest man who only wanted to gain success for his family until he arrived in the firm and exposed from the harsh and insane reality of what happens in Wall Street.  He met his supervisor which morally corrupt, drug addict, alcoholic who serve his only interest. Until one day he made his own brokerage firm which he called Stratton Oakmont. He unintentionally followed the step of his former supervisor and became greed for money, success and reputation. He developed extreme appetite for sexual promiscuity, alcohol and drugs. He called his company as a money machine because of countless of money they received from their stockholders. I think the weapon that Jordan used to have a successful brokerage firm is that he do impossible things to be possible in a way of saying lies just to get money from other people.  He uses flowery languages to get the trust of the investors and we all know trust is important in terms of business ethics.
Tumblr media
We have own ways to lead everything just like Jordan Belfort as a business leader. He is good at manipulating everything because of his communication skills is such a very powerful.  He uses referent power in leading the company to cultivate the respect and admiration of his followers in such a way that they wish to be like him. He managed to put a large amount of trust into his employees thus enabling his employees to feel both respected and powerful as part of the company. As you can see in the movie. He doesn’t seems care about what hilarious things what employees doing as long as they do their job. Jordan managed to get his team engaged in powerful captivating vision is vital to the success of Stratton Oakmont.  Jordan and his ability to drive others towards success of his company through his motivational speeches and ability to relate to the live of his team through his own personal experiences.
As a future molder of corporate world, I will not tolerate how Jordan Belfort leads his company in terms of his principle that he needs only to earn money. We need to treat everyone equally like Jordan did. We need also to be transparent so that we ca build better relationship to others.  I will teach my employees how ethics is important in the world of business. Last but not the least, we need to be accountable in what are we doing. To end this blog, the lesson that learned is that you not only to be a great performer and hard-worker in order to be successful, but also you need to be great in communication, interaction, networking and confident enough to sell yourself as a brand in the market.

A Man of Greed
A short movie review on the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” by Vincent Marc Neil A. Gabriel.
Tumblr media
The Man with the Golden Tongue
Based from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street”, Jordan Belfort showed great amounts of greed turning him into the man that he was right before he was arrested for doing illegal things with his company, Stratton Oakmont Inc. It was clear that he was a very talented person when it comes to talking with his clients about business but he used his talent in a very unethical way just to get the money that he wants. As a business leader, Jordan Belfort was exceptional because he led his people to heights they’ve never reached before. I’m talking about the amount of money they earn when they were working for him in the company. But if Jordan used his talent, his “golden tongue” for ethically good ways, then he could’ve reached more than what he had at his time.

Sell Me This Pen
Shaping the corporate world can be very easy just like the concept of selling a pen to another person. You would want to manipulate that person into buying your product by asking him to write his name on a piece of paper when he doesn’t have any pen. And just like that, I want to get a grasp of the corporate world by giving them something they need in order for me to control them. But unlike Belfort, I want to do it in a way that the people I come in touch with will never feel that they were taken advantage of. I want to prove that I can get the things I want if I ask the nice way just like “Can you right down your name for me?”. I would also want to let them see the responsibility, accountability, and fairness that I can give out whenever I do my work. This way I can be a great leader to others too.

Business is very important
Aldrin Louis V. Roma
Jordan Belford is a very good leader for a business because, he can lead and boost the morale of his employees to do their job very well. One of his exemplary traits is that he can boost the morale of those people around him to give their everything about their job, but he’s greedy and ready to sacrifice everything just to be rich. As a future molder of the corporate world, I can practice business ethics and social responsibilities by understanding every employees and boost their morale to successfully do their job. I also want every employee to suggest ideas in making our business better for our customers.

MONEY IN YOUR HEAD, NOT IN YOUR HEART
a movie review of The Wolf of Wall Street by Gene Sales
Jordan Belfort is the kind of person I wanna be when I grow up. He's rich, he lives in a mansion, he has a hot wife (had), he's basically living the dream. But as a business leader, well.. not so much. I mean, sure, he made his working environment fun for himself and all his associates. He provided them with the rewards every employee dreams of. He even created one of the best company from the ground up to the top. But the question is, was all of it legal?
Tumblr media
Let's be honest. As a business leader, he was corrupt. But he wasn't always like that. He was just like us trying to make it in the business industry. And while trying to make a difference in his life, he was influenced by his former associate into stealing from his customers to achieve that goal. He was taught that the only way of running a business was just to take the money of your customers and put it in your pocket. Nothing more, nothing less. He ran his company by that, and throughout his whole career, he strayed further and further away from his morality. One of the major flaws he had as a business man was that he didn't care for his customers. He smooth talked them until he had what he wanted. Money. All he had in mind was all the money and leisures in life. But on the other hand, he is actually a very charismatic leader. He has passion in what he does. When you hear him talk to his customers you can sense this attraction towards him that makes you want to buy whatever the hell he's selling. In other words, he's the world's best bullshitter. He is so persuasive that he could sell Dinuguan to an Iglesia ni Cristo. He could be talking for 10 minutes and I wouldn't know what he was talking about, but I'll take 10. Also, he has this respectable aura that makes you look up to him. It makes you wanna work for him and his company. This is evident when there were tons of applicants in his office trying to score a chance of having the dream job.
Tumblr media
Now as much as I am tempted to stray away from my principles, and just become filthy rich, as a future member of the corporate world, I've learned a few things from the experiences of Mr. Belfort that will prove useful in the future. Create core values that is easy to understand. A simple core value that Belfort failed to uphold was honesty. He wasn't an honest man in his line of work, especially to his customers. As the saying goes, honesty is the best policy. From that we can now go to consistency. As a member of a business environment we should always observe conformity in our work. But to what should we conform to? That is when we start to set the standards we should achieve in a business. Don't follow a standard wherein you should live a luxurious lifestyle like the one set in Stratton Oakmont. Set a standard where you plan to achieve customer satisfaction with exemplary service. And lastly, when starting a business like Mr. Belfort, you should always be COMMITTED all throughout your journey in the corporate world. Although the consequence wasn't very pleasant, Jordan Belfort was committed to his work and that is the reason behind his success. Have that passion in what you do and use it as a drive towards your success. And now to end this review, here's a quote from the wolf of Wall Street that we should all ponder on.

“HARDWORK beats TALENT everytime.”
A movie review about “Wolf of Wall Street” by Francis Gerald P. Querubin
Tumblr media
Jordan for me is someone that wants something but does not know how to get it. And by the term "does not know how to get it", I mean that he doesn't have any good or righteous plans to obtain what he wants, which is money. And because of that, he became a leader that does not deserve even a penny. Although he helped a lot of his employees to be rich, it does not ethically count because of the way that he does it. Sure he is a great man because he earned a lot of money than what he needs but for everyone, he was a criminal because what he did was not legally right and unjust for all his clients.
Tumblr media
As a future molder of the corporate world, here are some of the things that should be needed in business with relation to the experience of Jordan Belfort.
·         Be a role model who will can inspire others.
·         Motivate others to become a good leader
·         Have trust with your partners
·         You should know what you are doing: Is it beneficial or harmful?
·         Fair treatment to customers, co-workers etc.
·         Clear communication leads to good relationship.
·         Commitment and dedication to the work.
Tumblr media
I want to sum up this movie review by this quote, because you as the leader need to have the will in achieving goals and dreams in the future.Your followers/members can’t be inspired if you as the leader can’t show them how can things be done.I can also relate this quote to myself because i’m the leader of this class. I need to show to them that i deserve this position by being dedicated to it and doing all the things that make this class as ONE.I should be remembered as a leader not because of my POSITION and NAME but because of my SERVICE.

A Brave Wolf
A Movie Review of the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” by Allen Christopher S. Cervantes
Tumblr media
Belfort Leads!
Does this scene look familiar to you? It should because this is one of the best lines that Jordan Belfort said when he was starting out to be a leader. Jordan Belfort is a man of talent and bravery because he earned about 3 million dollars per week, and he does it illegally! And on top of that, he became a star to many people because of the large amount of money he hoards everyday. He is a wolf, a brave wolf that would hunt down his prey in any way possible just to get him on top of the food chain. Plus, his talent in communication lets him do his work very well. He smooth talks every client with his incredible tongue and always gets away with it even though what he gives to the client is unfair.
Tumblr media
The Way of the Wolf
Jordan Belfort is a man that was taken over by greed, money, and pleasure. He wanted to do everything he can in order for him to get what he wants, which was the large amount of money he always wanted. But he should not be tolerated because of the ways on how he got his money. Here are five traits that a great leader should have:
1. Passion - You should have the will and energy to do what you need to do. Remember that a leader’s job will never stop.
2. Mental end Emotional Toughness - A great leader should have a very strong mental and emotional capacity to withstand everything the world has to throw at him. Because if a leader breaks down, his men will fall like a house of cards.
3. Trusting your Guts - One should have the guts to trust in what he does in order for him to be successful because what will you produce if you don’t trust yourself? And remember that what you’re doing should affect everything and everyone around you.
4. Decision Wise - Even the greatest leaders should make the best decisions in order for them to rise up the ranks. One should learn how to make good decisions so that minimal mistakes can be achieved.
5. Flexibility - What is a leader if he doesn’t know how to adapt in every situation? A leader should know what to do in every circumstance so that they will win every battle.
Tumblr media
Molding the Future
Now you know what a leader should be in order for him to be the best. If you are given an opportunity to be one of the greatest business holders in the future, what would you do? Now, if I was given a great opportunity to hold such a place, the first thing I want to do is know who I am. What are the things that I can do? What are the things that I must change in order for many people to accept me? How will I get the people that I need without letting them feel like they are taken for granted? And if I completed step one, step two will be applying the things I learned about myself to what I want to do for a living. And it is not just for what I do for a living, it should be applied to everything that I do so that I would turn out to be a righteous man and a great leader to everyone. And last, I will always have fun on what I am doing because I am the one who chose this life in the first place. And always remember, a great leader doesn’t have the option to quit and stop.
Tumblr media
And to sum it all up, strive to be the best while serving your people with the way they deserve it. Jordan Belfort is and was a great leader but he could be a righteous one if be was fair and just to those who agreed to be with him. Yes, earning money as much as Jordan had can be alright, but the way he got his money can never be close to good and that should be a lesson to everyone who know who Belfort is. Treat people with kindness.

“THERE’S NO NOBILITY TO POVERTY”
A movie review about “Wolf of wall street “ by Francesca Anne B. Tapia
Tumblr media
The Wolf of wall street is  contain many crazy, entertaining, and decadent stories. But beneath all the debauchery there are a number of key lessons for you to learn from the success of Jordan Belfort and Stratton Oakmont. Jordan Belfort, a multi-million dollar scam artist who travelled the road to riches. While travelling this journey, he established many relationships that helped him reach such destination. The memoir The Wolf of Wall Street portrays the relationships and influences people had on Jordan and vice versa. The three biggest influences that Jordan encountered were Mark Hanna, Danny Porush and Nadine Belfort. Jordan was constantly living under pressure from stocks and whether they rise or not, he often resorted to narcotics to relieve some tension. In fact, drugs played such a huge role in his life because he constantly brags that “I could sedate Guatemala for over a month!” This served as benchmark of successful and effective business communications with Stratton Oakmont’s customers as it earned them nearly one billion dollars in annual revenue. Jordan Belfort was supremely effective in business communications merely because he was able to incorporate the three most basic methods. Each method had a direct effect on the corporation and made even the most numskull employees seem brilliant. However, not to say Jordan Belfort was a mastermind, but he and his employees represented the epitome of negative business communications as well. With a formula that included drugs, partying, and sex he was setting himself up for disaster. If there is one thing to avoid while being a stockbroker it is fraud! Fraud is simply the deliberate trickery of deceit in order to obtain a profit or dishonest advantage over someone.
Tumblr media
Though his lavish spending and berserk party lifestyle was consumed by excessive greed, he displayed both positive and negative aspects of business communications. No matter what happen the business is continuous and keep fighting  and to save the company to the benefits of all the employees.

A “LIE” BEHIND IT’S “SUCCESS”
A movie review about “Wolf of Wall Street” by Angelika Patrice C. Lava
Tumblr media
Life is not that easy.  There is no shortcut to success. But still there are some who want an instant, like one snap there you have it. Success may define as an accomplish of our aim. But can we still call it as a success even though behind it is all a lie? Is it acceptable how Jordan Belfort get what he want by deceiving his others?
Tumblr media
The movie “Wolf of Wall Street”  shows us a different kind of perspective when it comes to business. We can see how Jordan Belfort as a business leader. He started as an employee and learn a lot of things from being a broker and build his own firm named Stratton Oakmont. As the CEO of his company we can see how he can lead and treat his employees. Yes, he became a good example as a leader. he gave a good position to those normal people, often motivate his employees, treating them equally and build or I can say he gets the full loyalty of them. What he did is not the usually business owner or CEO will do. Most of the business owner want an employee who has the experience but in his case he gets people below that ground. Belfort let them experience pleasure and lust. All of those things are Jordan Belfort’s good trait as a leader but how about the counter part of it? Belfort became known and made his own name in the field of business. Everyone may seem so amaze what he did to be top of the line and get into success instantly. If we analyze Jordan Belfort seems to be good for his employees but in the line of business ethics, he lacks of it. Most of the things that he did was illegal, there are a lot of case that he needs to face. He’s a person  who is self centered who always thinks what’s best for him and for his company. He was too blind by money that he earned from being deceit his customers. He let his self to be eaten by his own greediness that he In that case he plays dirty in exchange of success. There’s a big lie behind what he call a “success”. He never became fair to his customers, he gets money from them without giving what is really for them. Belfort lacks of being accountable on everything that he did. Yes, he became successful but sadly his instant success with a lot of lies came out to make things right.
Tumblr media
Business is in the bigger picture. And there are a lot of things that we need to know in order for us to be successful and became a great leader. Being a future molder of corporate world we should apply and practice business ethics and social responsibility. We should know what is morally right and wrong. Through those things it can serve as our guide to led into a success in the business world. . As a part of the corporate world we should not just focus of ourselves or even in our company or earning money but we should also focus on our responsibility outside of the company. Building a relationship with trust and loyalty is one of the key for a business to have a strong foundation that will last for a long time
