God I hate Ten's exit from the show... I get being sad and not wanting to move on, but it always feels like such a 'fuck you' to Eleven from a writing point of view. Like I get you want to make the audience feel for him but like... I don't want to start Eleven's run feeling like he 'took the Doctor from us' ya know? Like he's the enemy and something that we need to hate because he represents the end of Ten.

"They're almost done, UNIT... They've almost got a way to send you back to that day and fix things."
Rose's voice was muffled slightly as she pushed her forehead closer against the side of the bare stomach she had her arms wrapped around, the loose sheet drapped over them both not enough to comfort her as the hand which had absentmindedly been playing with her hair froze for an awful moment, before it's owner found the right words.
"That's good..." Donna's voice was too calm for it to be a genuine reaponse, Rose could tell. Pulling one arm free, she started drawing gentle shapes on the skin around the ginger's belly button.
"You're a bad liar." She shot up at her, tilting her head so she could gaze up the naked form below her, chin resting right bellow Donna's navel.
The woman under her released a heavy breath disguised as a short chuckle.
"No, I mean it. It's... Good, isn't it? It's a good thing to do. If it's as important as you all say it is. If he's as important as you all say he is."
Rose watched her face for a moment longer, before freeing her other arm from around the redhead's body, raising to shift up the bed and pull the sheet with her. Coming to a rest alongside her lover, she laid her head on the same pillow, a breath away from the lips that she had captured in her own earlier that evening.
"It is important. This world, all these terrible things... It's all because of him not being around to stop them from happening. The universe needs him..."
Donna forced a smile as her head turned in place to face the blonde, voice barely above a murmur.
"I know it does. I just hope the universe knows how much I need you, too."

Love this idea... We know Daleks don't die of old age too, and just eventually start to decompose while still alive. Are claws the next evolutionary step for Daleks? Is that why we've seen some Daleks before with claws on their machines already?
If the Emperor Dalek and the Reconnaissance Dalek are the two largest daleks, does that imply that daleks are like lobsters?
Do they just grow exponentially with age?
