Riz Gukgak, Barry Syx and Gerard of Greenleigh are all completely different characters with completely different appearances and personalities and somehow Murph manages to have his appearance have the same vibes as them everytime.

I think Brian Murphy has so many tragic little characters that I adore that I am absolutely gonna have to listen to naddpod eventually because I need to have more content even if he is DMing

#Brian Murphy is a genius at making characters #half of them should be awful but he manages to make them so human #he injects such a realism into each one #I can’t say enough good things about his character creation #Kugrash is my favourite D&D character of all time #he’s so real and imperfect and Murph makes him so flawed yet lovable #also gotta shout out his ability to make sopping wet pathetic men that I love like Sewastian and Olywen #none of these characters should be as lovable as he makes them

I just hit a whole forgotten motherload of unfinished South Park K2 fics in a hidden away folder on my phone.

I can basically track periods of my life by remembering what I was obsessed with the most at the time. Apparently 2019 was the Kenny McCormick phase.

EDIT: funny addendum. There in the middle of all this unfinished K2 Kyle/Kenny shipping shit is a heartfelt recollection of my Grandmother’s funeral, just chilling amongst all my gay fics.

I just got it. I was rewatching the preview for next week and Brennan says

“Each of you see Fig and Gerard Neigh vanish into the clouds below”

Emily named the Daymare Gerard Neigh. As in Gerard Way. She named it after the frontman of MCR. I can’t believe it took me three days to catch that.

I do not think Brennan could have been more happy that Murph rolled a Nat20 about Ragh. It made the payoff feel earned and the narrative satisfaction hold extra weight. He didn’t have to worry about holding back or the players thinking he was holding back, everyone was on the same page, everyone knew the all cards were finally being laid out on the table. It was the perfect time for a Nat20 for maximum story impact.
