"The morning was cool, and mists were in the valleys and hollows and twined here and there about the peaks and pinnacles of the hills."
"The Hobbit" - J. R. R. Tolkien
Gandalf the Grey accompanied by Frodo and Sam. Made this little drawing back in the spring of 2021, while rereading both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. 🧝♀️🧙♂️🔮✨🍁
Okay, so I’m alive. I was on two days hike in the mountains and I am very much impressed with the fellowship now, bc honestly my legs hurt like hell now. But it was amazing and i had the best time with my friend there

In which I frantically make the claim that @edwardspoonhands, @adamgryu, @localveggietable, and @tazmuir all create art that you should put in your brain immediately.
I also use my dark eldritch powers of animation to seamlessly deepfake @sizzlingsandwichperfection-blog into my video and make it seem like he likes the book An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.
“Freddy Bolger, on the Hobbit Scale, how would you rate your adventure? Was it excellent, good, fair, poor, or very poor?”
“All things considered, definitely poor.”
Since people seem to be interested in my hometown, I thought I'd share some more facts about it:
•Nature and mythology related names are really common! My name is Blackberry and my sister is Sun (in our language obviously). Las week I met a Cinnamon and an Apollo, but from the top of my head I can mention Almond, Dawn, Dew, Seed, Dionysus, Ramses, Shanti, etc.
•One of the mountains that surrounds the town has a glacier on top of it.
•There are fairy inspired parks and reservations, they have statues of mythical creatures and interactive fairies and elves.
•There are lots of writers living here! Our most famous one (I think) writes short novels about the forest creatures.
•Since we have stem oriented secondary schools, plant related majors in the local university and literal festivals to celebrate the harvest season, we of course have botanical gardens and plant inspired clothes and jewelry.
•There was another ufo sighting last week.
•During the snow season, there are ski courses available for everyone. Sports clubs and schools get to go for free! The instructors are prepared to teach just about anyone, my mum is blind and thanks to this skiing is one of her favourite activities!
