About the AU:
Vox is Charlie’s Hotelier in the Reset Resort. It's a switch between Alastor and Vox on the show. Charlie focuses on her therapist job while Vox runs and sponsors the Hotel.

I see Vox as a character who only does things out of command. (His deal with Lucifer to be his daughter’s hotelier.) So I incorporated the watch and his robotic responses to Charlie. I also based his fake smile on Kazi’s comic.
Does Vox care for Charlie? No. That’s not included in his “program” so what the hell is Charlie talking about? When Charlie presumes that he cares for the resort, he insists he won’t have any use for the bracelet. He doesn’t care so why does she care about what he thinks about the resort?
Does Charlie think Vox genuinely cares? Yes. I know Kazi mentioned she’s wary of Vox, which she is. In this, she felt that there was still something in Vox. Even though it’s so little, she doesn’t want to lose hope that there is still good in everyone.
The bracelet can have the symbolism of rebirth, honesty, and compassion.
Vox is about to destroy the bracelet as it reminds him of Charlie’s statement but he chooses not to and just keeps it (He doesn’t wear it.) If he breaks it, that will make Charlie sad. That’s a big no in his deal and his schedule. Keep Charlie happy. That’s all that must be done. (And his plan after)
I was also thinking, what if he just accepted without much thought? He can just pretend he appreciates the gesture. But I kinda want to see him react differently, out of his robotic actions. Show a little bit of what he truly is. And I think he's just skeptical about the gift, he thought it was to convince him to attend therapy.
But we don’t really know what Vox thinks. You can interpret it whatever you like whether he does care or not. He continues to follow his schedule, ignoring her words, as genuine concern isn't part of his routine. (I might have implied it in the comic, so find it out yourself fufu)

Just want to say!! Those casting sheets aren't currently confirmed to be real; they were a 'leak' and some of them do seem authentic (ie have information that wasnt known until the show aired, like the existence of sera and emily) but others, like the vox one, include fanart/ fanmade assets (for example the vox logo used on the sheet is from the journey to light wiki) so its up in the air, cause they *could've* used fan assets but it'd be weird??

This was the most fun I had reading a fanbook ever I think?? the art style slapped so hard 😭 I just ordered it bc I love the artist and the cover looked fun but it was such a cute story…. Radiostatic was the focus and Vox was also just interacting with a bunch of different characters lmfao I read it like 3 times already help meee (by @ yyyyashiro on twitter 🛐)
