The best part of Cullen photoshoots is always "dogs wandering into frame looking to be involved with the people activities."

[Image descriptions: two photos of me in Cullen cosplay on a river dock, laughing and picking up a small dog and trying to escort it out of frame]

The thrice-ascended Crown Prince and his ghost king.🦋 I'm so pleased that I finally finished art of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. I adore them but could never seem to make art of them in my style until recently.

the most important ingredients for a male character are
-beautiful, flowing hair
-the saddest most pathetic and downtrodden vibes you've ever seen in your life
hope that helps!

My Dragon Age Inquisition character card embroideries all together! Each is 11.5x19.5 cm. Dorian took 73 hours, Cassandra took 89 hours, and Sera took 75 hours.
I wonder which character I'll do next...
-
[Image descriptions: Embroidered versions of the Dorian, Cassandra and Sera character selection card from Dragon Age Inquisition.
Dorian holds a book under his left arm while casting magic with his right. There are white glyphs in the air and a white snake running under his cloak and under his arm.
Cassandra sits atop a war horse with Inquisition soldiers behind her. She wears black armour with a gold-trimmed cloak, and the Seeker flag and he cloak stream behind her.
Sera stands atop a slanted tree trunk with her bow held suggestively between her legs, looking at the Skyhold tower in the distance, where the tiny figure of the inquisitor is present in the window. Mountains and turrets make up the background behind her.]

The most wretched tragedy is that we let those 18th century ponytails with bow ties for men get out of style

‘Dusting off his robes, he slowly raised his head to look at Nie Mingjue. His eyes were quite calm, almost indifferent.’ -MDZS Ch 49
I FINALLY finished this JGY piece! It’s been in my WIP folder for ages, feels good to be done.

The allure of AI entices those people who fetishize ideas but dismiss the work. They're the people who tell writers, "I'll give you the idea, then you write it, and we'll split the profits." For them, the vision is everything, and the work is just an annoying obstacle. But the WORK is everything. The work is how a thing happens, where it's made, where skill is put to work. AI in creativity is for the people who have no skill, no work, no effort, no ethic. They just want to push a button.

btw! I was made aware that many people don't know that we're boycotting Eurovision this year, so.
we are boycotting Eurovision, as per BDS guidelines.
don't watch the stream, don't engage with the videos, don't post it about it on social media using hashtags that are going to trend. whatever you're getting from the show isn't worth it

The last project for the historical costume course was late 1960s-early 1970s and we got to look through some really cool fabric stock. I lucked out with the William Morris inspired fabric for my jacket and was just able to squeeze the flared trousers out of the last of some lovely purple wool.

I was so excited that I got to see my model Lucy in the full 1886 polonaise dress I made for her, as part of the womenswear module of my intensive historical costuming course! To bring the look to life I had to draft and make a chemise, steel-boned corset, 1880s bustle, and petticoat to go underneath the outer layers - all invisible in the final costume but vitally important to the silhouette. Seeing her visibly light up in an outfit that fit her measurements and was comfortable for her to move in made the long hours of agonising over small measurements worth it.
I also handmade fabric roses out of leftover scraps of the skirt fabric to use as decoration.
