not silly at all. Ive been genuinely surprised at the amount of negativity Ive seen to towards people being negative about the show. as if we all werent on here complaining about how ass the s6 finale was 12 months ago. its crazy how devisive bcktmmy has been in this fandom tbh, 10 episodes (or really 7) and the fandom is completely different + divided to some extent. and its brought out some really ugly emotion in some people I think :/

i'm not even kidding when i say that this season has brought out some of the worst bigotry i have ever seen in this fandom, and it's really sad when you consider the fact that it's come from two characters canonically being confirmed queer

this is probably silly but i can't stop thinking about how when i joined the 911 fandom in 2021 it was fairly small and yeah it had Issues but more the most part it was genuinely fun and pretty welcoming—and it did stay that way...and then in the span of less than 3 months since s7 started airing, it's turned into the most hateful, toxic cesspool—and not even entirely due to the new people (tho us breaking containment did not help) but a not-insignificant portion of it has come from people i genuinely liked and respected. idk. it's just really, incredibly sad. more so than the show itself letting me down this season.

i love when i read or watch something and it feels like the writers just reached inside my brain and ticked all the boxes that cause me to become Obsessed
