My girlfriend has a very soft heart for everyone in need, she prefers savory things to sweet things and she's absolutely obsessed with cats (<3)
twenty-five, fave season and why:
That's a hard one, I think every season is enjoyable in its own way, so I'll just say what I like about each one.
I like spring because it gets warm enough that I can smell things again, there are beautiful flowers everywhere and it's the time to cut away the dead things in the garden and plant new ones.
I like summer because it's pleasant to be able to go outside all the time without bundling up and I can water all the plants in the garden with a beer or a cold tea. My favorite thing about the summer are the nights though. It seems like they go on forever, they smell sweet and make me feel like I'm dreaming.
I like fall because it's harvest time and there's lots of delicious food to cook and eat. I also take walks in the forest when the leaves are all colored. The colder weather is a relief from the summer heat. Also, I love storms.
I like winter because I love snow and ice and the smell of burning wood when I go and visit my parents. There's more good food and celebrations and the smell of pine in the living room. It's a harsh time as well, full of darkness and cold and waiting, but, in a way, that's good too. It makes me appreciate spring more, when it returns.

I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.
I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.
Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.
Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.
