Last week I got to travel to NY for the Complex Media sales conference. It was an honor to spend time learning from some very accomplished executives as well as Marc Ecko himself... After however I had to tap in wit the fam.. Always a good time I would leave Times Square an spend some time in Long Island.. Westbury to be exact ... We shared laughs caught up an took a walk through the hood just talkin about life ... Until next time .. Sooner than later To The Left: My kousin, my brother, we spent years apart growing up, but always remained close, this picture speaks volumes because you rarely will see him smile. We grew up on diff coasts, him to Long Island and me in Washington State but whenever we met up and compared stories, and experiences growing up the hustle is what linked us. I know his father is looking down from Heaven happy that we stayed so close throughout the years, he always wanted us to be close which is why he drove across the country so that him and I could see one another before he ended up passing away later that year. We were taught well by our respective parents but never given anything, we were taught to work for what we wanted. It had been 2 years since I was in NY this trip we had a few good conversations, made life plans and goals, and made a few memories. Whether its sitting in the house talkin, or riding around Westbury I cherish each moment wit my dude. To The Right: My bouzin, the OG, the kind spirited yet misunderstood artist. As I embark on this 335 mile road trip back to LA after a weekend of making music performing music and shooting a video I can't help but think..
