hello~ haha, I am back! Sort of a short announcement before I get into the actual post, but thanks to the fandom break I took the last half of the year in 2023, I think I am ready to dive back into my CO wips like OHEA, etc.

Also, I really really want to give a big hug and shout out to @artsyunderstudy, @larkral, @that-disabled-princess for keeping me in their thoughts/posts over the months. It really does make me feel good to see notifs even if I havent been active here :"D

Now, onto the SSS post! So truthfully, I havent started on CO wips just yet, so these shared sentences are actually from a character I am trying to create for dnd

I know dnd is a lil random, but I am just super excited for a lot of things going on this year that I want to try and accomplish and all I had so far was this very very basic/rough idea of a character im creating so far

Wip Wednesday

This snippet is from my OP BB that I'm participating in!

Completely ignoring the kid now, he leans back and walks across the room, talking as he goes. “All it makes you, is a dumbass who forfeits his own life.” Porchemy says as he grabs his trusted blade and raises it above his head. However, before he can bring it down, Zoro and Sanji burst through the dilapidated shack door, with three swords and fiery legs welded.  Before anyone could blink an eye, the auras of demons had knocked out the entire shack and the two quickly cut Luffy from his dangling position, tucking him safely in the arms of Sanji.

ngl, the sanji moment at the end of this quote makes me tear up some - for my wci ppl, you know, you know

Happy Wednesday everyone! I spent last night recording 3 out of 4 of the podfics I've committed to for @caught-on-tape-fest, leaving the longest and most emotionally meaningful one for last because... because.

Anyway, I recorded the first one three separate times before this take, so I feel like I've already learned a lot, and also my recording window last night was unusually large, so I went for it. WHO KNOWS how I'll feel about this choice later.

Here is an outtake, because I thought it was hilarious. Sorry about the metronome in the export, I don't know why it's there and now I need to figure out how to remove it from the other exports. Hopefully it's not in the track itself. Because I would die.

(Let's all be honest: Baz is more likely to moodily wound Simon than to mortally wound Simon, so.)

Have I written this week? Not really. Ah well. Focus shifts around. It's fine.

WIP Wednesday

Morning morning everyone. I come bearing gifts. I haven't made a ton of progress on my writing because I have this really big thing I'm working on that's requiring most of my focus, but here's a little more from Sober. Simon is thirsty and he is Not Subtle.

Instead of kissing me again, [Snow] just drops his forehead to my shoulder. His breath is hot through the gauzy fabric of my shirt. It’s a sheer charcoal grey with lilac flowers and greenery printed throughout. One of my favourites. [He] had stared boorishly at it when I entered the party earlier, eyes fixed squarely on my chest. (Not sure if it was the buttons halfway undone to my navel or the shadow of nipples that did it for him. That’s a mystery for the ages.) He’d been sat with some man’s legs sprawled across his lap, carelessly dislodged in his rush to stand. “I’m not the bloody Queen,” I sneered, turning my back on him. “You can sit down.”

And also a lil sneak peek at the thing I'm working on. This wont come out for a while sooo enjoy the sketch.

That's right, I'm back baby!! Okay, but for real, I have just been writing in a different fandom for the last several months and I thought that there isn't much of a "reason" to post since most of my writing friends on here I tag are in CO (thought you wouldn't want to see other fandom stuff) but, jas convinced me that it's fine, so here I am <3

Have you heard of that name?”  “No,” Luffy says, already losing excitement. “Hey, why are you called Whitebeard, when you just have a mustache? Shouldn’t your name be Giant Banana-stache?” He says with a tilt of his head as if it was just common sense. “Gurarara!” His laughter booms out of him. “I suppose you’re right. I don’t know why I’m called Whitebeard. Gurarara!” After a round of chuckles though, Whitebeard’s eyes narrow on Luffy with a grin. “Speaking of names though, what is yours?”

“I don’t have time for this.” Ace complains with a scowl on his face, before turning towards the marines and then creating a giant wall of flame, effectively cutting the marines off from the pirates. However, the flames also entraps Sabo with the pirate.  “You have got to be kidding me,” Sabo sighs, not sure why he is getting singled out.  “I’m not letting you get away from me again.” Ace clenches his fists, several knuckles popping, as he turns his full attention back on Sabo.

The Hito Hito no Mi: Model Maya Fruit is better known as the Usagi Usagi Fruit. This is due to the fruit having a resemblance to the animal’s nose, as well as the fact that the consumer of this fruit gains several attributes associated with a rabbit. These attributes include rabbit ears and tail, powerful kicks, long jumps, and seemingly increase in luck.

However, that is not all, as the Devil Fruit is named for the Moon God Maya. The fruit allows for the manipulation of gravity on oneself — and even on their surroundings when the fruit is awakened! This allows for the seemingly long jumps and powerful kicks. Similar to the legends of olde with the rabbit on the moon making elixirs of life, this fruit provides the eater with healing powers. Allowing them to heal minor cuts and wounds, as well as even bring someone back from the brink of death!

There are even whispers of a bow, named Houyi, that materializes with the fruit. It has wood made from trees only found on the moon, the sight for the weapon is made of constellations of stars, and the arrows made from sunlight, easily reflecting off objects until finally meeting its final destination. It is told to be a valuable asset and protector for those it appears to.
