Fun fact! Did you know that my song Apocalypse is actually a Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (ROTTMNT) fan song?
⚠️Spoilers for the ROTTMNT MOVIE below⚠️
The melody was created a while before I got around to watching movie or series, it was simply a beta I created out of boredom during an average school day.
However I was on TikTok a-lot that week and happened to be exposed to a ton of spoilers for the (ROTTMNT) movie, eventually growing curious I decided to look more into the mini-series.
AND OH. MY. GOD.
I had developed a new hyper fixation (its still here help) and would not shut up about it, around a couple of weeks later I managed to see the movie too!
I decided to pick up my beta (named “Alone” at the time) later that week due to curiosity. Midway in creation and messing around a bit, I noticed that it actually reminded me of something…
This sounded like something from the movie
This realization crashed in and carried me through out the rest of the creation, “Alone” became a song about the Krang Invasion, and thus was renamed “Apocalypse.”
Around a month later it was published as one of my longest songs (curently) and ended up becoming a ROTTMNT MOVIE fan song!
