((Hello!! Oh jeez, I have been gone for so so so long and I am really sorry.  Basically I have een too busy to function. :') I'm a second semester junior in highschool--which at my school at least--usually equates to the busiest semester of the year!! In addition to having an overload of things to do my immune system has really been failing me lately and I have been perpetually sick.
But I'll try my best to be back now, even though I still won't be on a LOT for the remainder of the school year! Luckily it's almost over! I really miss you guys. ;=;
So on that note, does anybody want an Aya or an Alice? I really want to send them out!))

If you refused a gift from me I'd probably be a little offended, particularly if said gift was related to my companionship. *Smiles a little bit, about to open her mouth and say something.* ... *Decides to accept the roundabout compliment.* Fine. *Kisses his cheek.* As long as you're having fun. ♪
Hee hee-- * Suppresses her laughter* Just think of it like a genetic disease as  opposed to a tradition. It could be treated...perhaps not cured, but treated. I think...I know just the cure for your ailment.
*Smiles warmly as he introduces himself and follows as Yun leads them to a booth near the back.* Thank you, Yun. This is lovely. *Turns back to Jin and slides into the booth. Are you hungry, Jin? We already ate, so I was just going to get a little tea.
Ayame/Jin;; A proper date

erik-licious replied to your post: ((I think my ask got eaten Dx)) Dr. Ayame! Congratulations on your big win!
Well, I wouldn’t say that…especially if you used your prize-winning apples!
Hee hee! I do wish I could have used those--unfortunatly, they were out of season. But--*Leans in as if she has a great secret to tell.* I did get them from the best orchard-owner I know!

… *sighs, slowly holding out his arm to her, his thumb which seems to be bleeding rather seriously* I was dethorning some roses- but I suppose my mind was elsewhere. I’m very sorry for bothering you, Doctor. You must be so busy—!
*She frowns at the injury.* Oh, no--that doesn't look good. You're bleeding badly... *Looks up at him, her face softening at his apology.* I'm a doctor, Cam! Nobody who needs medical help is ever a nuisance! *Steps out from behind the desk and gestures for him to follow her.* Please, come to the back--I'll fix you up.

Tart Apple Pie ♪
Tumblr media
*Approaches the table and sets her pie down, along with a knife to slice it with.* Hello, judges. I'm Dr. Ayame from Konohana village. I know I'm a doctor, and typically doctors don't well known for fantastic cooking--particularly not something as sweet and unhealthy as apple pie--but I'm a bit notorious for my sweet tooth. ♥ Anyways, it's not that I don't like to bake--I really enjoy it and did it all the time when I was younger, in fact--I just don't have the time usually! I set aside some hours to make this for you all, however. My own village has very frequent cooking festivals that I like to enter as well, so I do cook or bake every so often.
I made for you Tart apple pie! As much as I love the ordinary sweet apple pie, this recipe not only worked better with the ingredients I had available to me-- it is unique and delicious, a tasty mixture of sugar, spice and tart, and not as overwhelmingly sweet as normal apple pie! It's quite fresh, considering I finished this morning. I even dragged myself out of bed early to bake it, and I don't do that for very many things. ♪
Here we have the recipe--It really was a fairly simple dessert to make. You need..
3/4 of a cup of white sugar
2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
1/2 of a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 of a teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1/2 of a teaspoon of lemon zest
1/4 of a teaspoon of cinnamon sugar
7 cups of thinly sliced Granny Smith apples
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of butter
9 inch double pie crust
4 tablespoons of milk.
Before I made the filling, I had to make the double pie crust and refrigerate it the night before. This is the recipe for that:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 of a teaspoon of salt
2/3 of a cup of shortening
about 6 to 7 tablespoons of cold water.
First I stirred together the flour and salt. Next, slice up the shortening until it's in little pea-sized bits. I mixed that with the shortening and drizzled the tablespoons of water onto the mixture to moisten the dough. You have to go tablespoon at a time, though--it's stupid to dump it all in at once!
Once all the dough was moistened I divided it into two halves and rolled them into balls. I took one of the balls and flattened it into a 12-inch circle on a lightly floured flat surface with my rolling pin. I gently wrapped my crust around the rolling pin to transfer to a 9-inch deep dish pie tin, where I unrolled it and fit the crust into the pin--it was hard not to stretch it! After I trimmed the excess crust, I set aside my other dough ball and rolled it out. Since I decided to make a lattice crust, I cut them into 1/2 strips.  I then put them in the fridge overnight.
The next day, I got to making the filling! First I sliced up the apples--I needed approximately 7 cups. Unfortunately, these apples didn't come from my apple tree in the back that wielded my prize-winning apple back in fall. ♪ The harvest time simply wasn't late enough. However, I got these from my friend who runs an orchard, Mako--and Granny Smiths like these mature much later than most apples and need some cold weather to ripen. So, luckily--these are still rather fresh! I made sure to slice them thinly--I wanted them to bake properly.
Mix together your sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon zest. Then carefully lay about a third of your sliced apples on the bottom of your crust-lined pie tin. I sprinkled mixture of sugar and spice on top of the apples and repeated until it was all used up. Next, I sprinkled all the lemon juice on top and dotted with butter.
Next, I took out my strips of pie crust and carefully wove them together across the top, and folded the edges to the edges of the other pie crust. Once that was done I painted the top with milk--it gave it a pretty glazed look when it was baked. ♪ I popped it in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes--and ta-da, it was done! It looked a bit drab, so I sprinkled some cinnamon sugar, added a few apple slices, and a dollop of whipped cream to spruce it up.
I do hope you like it. It was fun to take a break and bake again. ♥

*Nods as she explains her story, scribbling down the scenario on her clipboard.* I see. That sounds painful--oh, don't look so embarassed. It happens to the best of us. You did the right thing trying to protect your head first, however. *Smiles a little, gently examining her injured hand as she speaks.* A fractured head is much more difficult to mend than a fractured hand. You should be thankful your head didn't hit the rocks!
Either way--we'll need to take an x-ray of it. I can't tell if there's a fracture or not from just a physical exam. If you're lucky, you'll just be bruised and sore! Is that alright with you, kiddo?
Doctor's visit; @Gretel
*hums happily seeing her offer’s been acepted and chuckles along* haha, ja, I guess… but it’s always been like this so maybe it’s a little late for me to change anyway, hmhmm~ one does get used to being clumsy!
F-Fractured? Oww… *looks up, trying to remember the exact moment* Let’s see I was trying to climb up these rocks and I lost my footing. My hands slipped too *glances at her hands, full of little scratchs* and… I think I might’ve hit it against something hard when I fell, a rock— nein, wait! I remember falling ON it! *glances at some scratches on her knees* I fell on my knees and my feet was under my weight, ugh, no wonder… i don’t know if that’s enough to fracture it but maybe the hit AND me falling on it? … but I don’t remember hearing any ‘crack’ or anything like that, though. But I was too busy trying not to fall on my head, heh… *manages a small, awkward smile*

This doesn't count! It's what you chose to do for your birthday, accepting what's technically a gift is hardly spoiling yourself. Anyways--you don't need to see your time off with me as self-indulgence. *Gives him a look.* There are things you could do that are much more deserving of that title.
Nonsense. Anybody can overcome such a problem, even if it is a legacy. Maybe you should  try and rebel against your family for once. *Nods seriously, fighting a smile.* It won't be easy, though. Are you up for the challenge?
*Smiles into his arm, squeezing it.* You're such a dork. ♥ You bet you're in luck~.  *Approaches Yun and smiles at her--as expected--surprised and delighted expression. After a bit of laughter and talk she turns to Jin, squeezing his hand.* I'm on a date tonight. ♥ This is Dr. Jin, he lives in Castanet. We're here for  dinner and tea.

It is a huuuuge problem! It happens so often since there are so many fine lookin' ladies on this planet. In fact, it's happening now from being near you. *Flexes his muscles, trying to make it look involuntary* I... Can feel the sexiness radiating from my body this very moment.
*Puts a hand to her cheek, feigning surprise.* What an awful condition! I imagine it’s a struggle each day to get by.*Grins rather cheekily, leaning against her desk.* Why, it seems that I’m impervious to it. *Pats his arm.* Looks like you’re in luck, you’ve found a doctor who could treat you. ♪ What’s your name, kiddo?

Intuitions, you say? *Smiles at him, amused.* Heh! ♪ What would those be?
*Follows along and spins on her heel, laughing as she twirls. She steadies herself by resting a hand on his shoulder.* I thought so! You look about that age.
Well, I'm about thirty-one...I wouldn't say I'm old! Ah-- *A bit surprised by his eye contact and pauses for a thoughtful moment. Her brow furrows.* I'm not sure if I know, exactly. I went through quite a few changes in the last few years of my twenties. Things like dancing simply began to...slip from my mind. *Brightens up a bit.* And I suppose it's hard for a doctor to find time to dance, isn't it?
[Smirks, brows raised in surprise by both her words and openness.] Huh, so you were? Guess my little intuitions about you were right, heh. ♪
Me?— [With her hand in his, he gives her a playful twirl and then buckles his other hand around her waist, gently bringing her in.] That’s right. ♥ I’m twenty-two.
[Pauses the dance movements with a casual stare into her eyes.]
You still look plenty young to me. Why’d you stop?

Ayame smiled at the young lady, nodding at her statements. Winter was not the woman's most favorite of seasons. "Isn't it lovely? I hope it keeps up. Snow is only fun in small doses."
"I hope so! The mountain is beautiful once it's in full bloom. Plus--all the herbs come back out in abundance." Pausing for a few thoughtful moments, Ayame gave the priestess an inquisitive look. "Say, Alisa...would you be interested in helping me out?"
@Ayame~
Tumblr media
“That’s truly a blessing.” The priestess brushed a hand across her heart, letting out a light sigh of relief to the wonderful news. “That is true. At least the Goddess let today not be as harsh as it has been recently.” Alisa walked over to the church windows, observing the weather. “Spring is coming soon, and the flowers will start to bloom!”

*Nods and laughs weakly.* Nothing too dramatic, I'm simply--...having every fact I thought I knew about the human body and the nature of aging being ripped to tiny, tiny shreds...!
How...incredible, if you're right. *Stares at her, head tilted.* I wonder how such a thing is even scientifically possible...? Or how--magic--fits into all of this...*Shakes her head.*
Well--as little as I feel I understand now, I suppose I do understand what you meant when you said your past was a long story.
@Ayame
[Laughs lightly] I suppose it is a lot to take in, hm~?
Yes, thousands. [nods] The only way you’d have head trauma is if you fell off this table and hit your head. So… [makes the table float back down to the ground] Yes, I am.

*Raises her eyebrows at him, equally unamused by his uncooperative nature.* An accomplished doctor always asks their paitent how they are feeling and their story beforehand, as that's the quickest way to find a diagnosis. It matters very much what happened to you, considering even the most harmless of symptoms could possibly indicate something much more sinister. Anyways, any rational person assumes that their patient will be as cooperative as possible, considering that they are in pain or at least discomfort. *Picks up his arm and examines it briefly.*
Allergic reaction, definitely. It looks pretty uncomfortable. You're not struggling with breathing, are you? Will you please tell me what you believe triggered the allergic reaction, if you know? Even the most accomplished of doctors can't determine what triggers an allergen from a simple physical exam. I'd have to inject you repeatedly with different possible allergens until you flared up in the same manner, and frankly I don't think either one of us would enjoy that.
Luckily for you, *Turns back to the cabinets.* I can start treating it even without knowing the cause.
*blinks unamusadly at her over dramatic glove application but does as he’s told* Tch, does it even matter? Can you not simply identify the basic problem since you are such an accomplished doctor?
