Geten’s Reaction to Another Omega Pursuing His S/O {Omegaverse AU}:
Anon, this is for you :)
Tumblr media
❇ Firstly, his rage knows no bounds. He sees you as his - his property, his mate…his Alpha, long before you’re bonded. Who does that other Omega think they are? How dare they pursue you! And how dare you allow it to continue! His anger isn’t distributed equally, however. He’s baying for blood with this Omega.
❇ Geten is possessive - extremely possessive. If this worthless, good-for-nothing Omega gets within 100ft of you, he’ll be snarling and releasing the most dangerous, most stifling pheromones imaginable. It’s a warning, and if the Omega doesn’t take it, they’re in for a world of trouble.
❇ Geten can be difficult to approach, but no-one even dares to try when that happens. He won’t admit his feelings - not to anyone. But they all know. How can they not? His face and pheromones betray him in uniform measure. It’s just so obvious.
❇ That Omega will be terrified for their life.
❇ Initially, Geten is positive he can win your heart. After all, he’s incomparably better and stronger than that other Omega…right? He’ll grow desperate and upset once he realises you’re still giving them attention, not running to him with open arms and marriage papers.
❇ Honestly, a bond mark won’t be enough to satisfy this needy little Omega. He wants to form as many pacts as possible, to be yours in more ways than one.
❇ Though, he’s already yours - you just need to acknowledge that.
❇ After some time, the fear is gonna envelop him. It creeps slowly, taking control of his every thought and feeling. What if he actually loses you? What if you truly want that other Omega?
❇ He just can’t handle the images that begin to accompany those thoughts. He decides that he’s gonna have to try harder, be pushier. He needs you to see that he’s the one you should be chasing after. He’s the one you should spend all your time with. He’s the one who can make you feel happy and loved.
❇ He’s always had to prove himself, and with this, it’s no different. He’ll bypass the subtlety - you’ve likely caught his pheromones before, so at this point, there’s no hiding his interest. He’ll come on strong, and won’t back out for anything.
❇ Because of how possessive he is, people already assumed you were bonded.
❇ You’d get comments like “You should really tame your Omega.” and “Your Omega looks like he’s ready to kill for you. Better calm him down before he does.”
❇ Geten may or may not have planned the death of that Omega, but he’s not gonna act on it. If you stop him.
❇ If he overhears someone calling him your Omega, he’ll be over-the-moon. He takes such childish pride in that, even if it isn’t true. Let him fantasise.
❇ If someone calls you his Alpha, his heart will skip a beat. In a way, it’s like he won the battle for your affections. Now he just needs your confirmation.
❇ He’s gonna get all defensive and be like, “I knew you wanted me.” He’ll claim that’s the sole reason he pursued you, but everyone knows that’s a lie. He’s yearned for you from the very beginning.
❇ If that annoying Omega thought they had even a sliver of a chance with you, he’ll be glowing with both arrogance and pride when you finally prove them wrong. He’ll parade his bonding mark around like a spoil of war, only sated once that Omega concedes defeat.
❇ He lives to make them miserable
❇ Overall, jealous baby boy.

GETEN!!
Omega! Geten/Iceman {Omegaverse AU}:
Tumblr media
❄ The stereotypical image of an Omega is one of weakness and subservience. Geten despised this. He’d spent his entire life at the mercy of his own ideology, but his second gender was just something he couldn’t escape. He thought himself weak, so he sought power.
❄ When he met you, he was so conflicted. You were an Alpha, strong but with an inordinate amount of compassion. He couldn’t believe his eyes, and he didn’t want to believe his heart.
❄ Your pheromones were irresistible - if they were an ocean, he wouldn’t bother to swim. He’d allow himself to be dragged under, surrounded by that cedarwood scent. To him, it was heaven. A single whiff, and you could command everyone in the room.
❄ He wanted to be the only one affected, the only one worthy of being your mate, to be marked and scented by you. But he refused to be seen as needy, as…weak.
❄ He’s helpless to your pheromones. They linger in the air long after you leave, and he takes in as much as he can, without being caught.
❄ Re-Destro knows, though. That man is definitely a Beta, but even he can smell the distress that radiates off Geten. He’ll 1000% give his approval, letting Geten know that you’re indeed very popular, and could have any Omega you choose.
❄ Basically, if Geten doesn’t get his ass into gear, he could lose any slim opportunity he has with you.
❄ He’s terrified
❄ Geten has the strongest suppressants money can buy (thanks to Re-Destro, ofc), and because you don’t usually spend time in his company, it’s possible that you won’t notice he’s an Omega before being explicitly told.
❄ You really don’t care.
❄ You won’t look down on him - no matter his second gender, he’s one of the strongest in the MLA. That fact is undeniable. If anything, this just heightens your interest! You’d always wanted to be someone to him, and the Alpha-Omega dynamics might provide more of a chance.
❄ You’re smitten with each other.
❄ Geten has to make sure that you don’t want him simply for his Omega. He isn’t about to stop training his quirk and fighting, just to be a domestic slave. That kinda lifestyle just isn’t for him. He needs to know that you won’t tie him down, won’t force pups on to him so early, won’t do anything he dislikes.
❄ He isn’t one for quiet obedience, after all. If you didn’t know that before, you certainly learn it as the days pass.
❄ You love that about him. He’s grumpy and outspoken, nothing like a typical Omega. But it’s just so cute! Sometimes you wonder how the relationship works, how you stay together through thick and thin. But then you look to the outline of your teeth on his neck, and it tells you all you need to know.
❄ You’re in love, forever and always.

Hitoshi Shinsou x Reader
Trigger Warnings: Mentions of possible Self-Harm/Suicidal Ideation, Mentions of Bullying, Depression.
—-
The echoes of words that, since their conception, carved up your heart without reason or care, still plagued you. The angel by your side wasn’t privy to your unpleasant truths - the history etched in to your skin, bygone times littered with bullying and self-disgust. The latter hadn’t disappeared like everyone said it would. If they dragged that lie from their own experiences, they shouldn’t have been surprised when you became angry, and weak from ‘night studies’.
Hitoshi worried half to death, and crafted his words accordingly. He couldn’t bear to imagine his company brought you so much discomfort that you refused to let him help - or even just listen. He wanted to understand why pain seemed to dull your eyes, why you isolated like you did…why you declined to let him in, even after months of a strong friendship. He loved that you saw the person past the quirk, he loved the gentle tone in which you called his name. He had hoped that, with the dormitory situation (and your rooms being on the same floor), you would feel more secure and perhaps encouraged to seek help. If you reached out to him…
…Please reach out to him! He had grappled with depression, with that empty, hopeless feeling. He knew it all too well. But his battle had been fought, and he had the skills necessary to aid yours. He could rescue you, but the hard labour was your personal burden. It was horrible. What kind of aspiring hero was as useless as he? It was true. You couldn’t win on your own, but he couldn’t win it for you.
Gods…he wanted to! He wanted to do everything, just for you!
It was impossible…unless you opened up your heart. He respected your space, but his unrelenting love threatened to crush those invisible barriers. It felt as though you were slipping, like there was a reason more sinister than he had anticipated, as to why you didn’t want any help. He grew nervous, eventually deciding that the possibility of you endangering yourself was enough cause to demand entry into your room. Once inside, he could talk about his concerns and lend you an ear. He could also check for anything…sharp. He never wished to offend you or come off as condescending (like a lot of therapists did), but he was desperate. He worshipped you as some beautiful, divine entity - if your anguish managed to conquer the last semblance of hope that still burned…well, how could he live with himself?
How could he live with the knowledge that he hadn’t ever told you your worth? If you were reclaimed by nature, whilst believing that you meant nothing…that he didn’t completely adore you…
No - he just…he couldn’t allow that.
Maybe it was an overreaction. Maybe you wouldn’t be so reckless. But he wasn’t about to risk that. You wouldn’t be foolish. You wouldn’t be selfish. This didn’t involve anyone else - not even him. But you couldn’t keep suffering. Humans could only endure so much.
The mentally ill - for as much as they rebuffed it - were powerful warriors. Each day issued forth a new challenge. Some gave up. Some kept fighting. Some battles were lost, and others were won. These people were incredible - deserving of eternal love and happiness. Hitoshi hoped to give you both. But first, he needed a better grasp on your situation. Voice everything to him! Every tiny thing, no matter its insignificance! He was offering you a chance, a way to stave off the negativity, just for a while. Would you accept it? Or would his intrusion signal the end of your friendship…of a possible, future romance?
He approached with caution…and a full plate of food. Immediately after the school day concluded, you had retreated to your room. He asked around, but nobody could attest to having seen you emerge. Therefore, you hadn’t eaten yet. He knew you wouldn’t deny yourself and isolate to such an extent - was it a silent cry for help, and…were you even aware of it? Were you holding out for a hero? Despite his allocation to General Studies, his aspirations had only flourished. He could save you from the depths of this depression! He could become your hero…
…if you let him.
A sigh tumbled from his lips, as he knocked on your door. To be honest, he wasn’t expecting a response.
“(L/n)…It’s Shinsou. I thought you might be hungry? And, uh…I was hoping to talk to you. Maybe…”
A muffled “Go away” could be heard from within, but, being so weak, it couldn’t deter him.
He coughed awkwardly, placing a palm against your door. “Please let me in. Please let me help.”
There was hurried shuffling, and the sound of you falling over something. It almost made him chuckle. Then, the door opened. You peeked from behind it, eyes narrowed and with a sickly complexion. You scrutinised him for a moment, without words. Next, you looked to the food.
And you let him in. You actually let him in! Relief washed over his heart, but the pain still stabbed through. You were clearly hurting, clutching the hem of your shirt and trying desperately not to wince. He saw it all. He set the plate down, but you didn’t move toward it. Maybe you would eat after he left? Well, he wasn’t about to force-feed you, so…as long as you did…
“How can I help?” He asked, taking a seat opposite you.
“I don’t…I don’t think you can…” You started, diverting your attention away from him and his charity.
Unluckily for you, he was determined, and nowhere near satisfied with your half-arsed answer. It had obviously been impromptu, but his questions symbolised an outpouring of emotion from deep within his soul. That was your worth - how much he yearned for every part of you. He knew his lines. They were engraved upon his heart, like wedding vows. He could recite them with ease…but they were far from easy.
“Look at me.” He loathed using his quirk on you, but this was important.
The Fates would forgive him…hopefully.
After a minute, he relinquished control. “Please talk to me. I can give advice, or I can just listen. I’ll do whatever you need. Just…let me know.”
Let me know everything.
Wiping a stray tear from your eye, you relented. “Okay…but please - please don’t laugh.”
“I won’t. You have my word.”
You are my world.
“I…I was bullied, in middle school. And…it sometimes happens now, but just…not so often.” Your throat felt parched. “It was because of my quirk. They said I didn’t have the capacity to do good, and that I would always be evil. They didn’t want to turn me to villainy - they wanted me to die. It was so hard, just trying to survive every single day, getting pushed around and tormented…made to feel inferior, like I didn’t even matter.”
Hitoshi remained silent, eyes blown wide in shock and disgust.
“You know my quirk, right? 'Bone Manipulation’? I hate it. I’ve hurt people I should never have hurt. I’ve ruined friendships - probably lives, too. And…and…I can’t always control it! When I’m angry…sometimes it just happens…and I can’t - I can’t stop it!”
You were panicking, rocking back and forth while holding your head. The really frightening parts of your tale were still a mystery. You would reveal them, in due time. But right now…you needed Hitoshi’s warm embrace.
Cradled in his arms, you could forget the whole world.

Hitoshi Shinsou x Reader
He held the foremost authority over your heart.
He occupied each higher and lesser position in its pantheon.
Acceptance of and respect for every scintilla of difference between you and the society in which you inhabited, propositioned no consequence. Heroics suited him well - experience protecting you from the ever-anticipated onslaught of comments and confrontations had significantly developed his character. Though, it was hardly a reason to gloat. The fact of the matter remained that, in spite of your position at UA, circumventing such horror was a tricky endeavour. But love’s transcendent strength granted Hitoshi both the means and the motive.
And upon drawing the curtain, he always shared that one jumper, ridiculously-comfortable and oversized. It was akin to an invitation into his embrace, but of course that too could be requested. He couldn’t profess to be….yours, without first conceding to something so simple, so rewarding.
He appreciated each individual piece of your soul - even the misshapen ones. He understood himself as the binding-glue, holding them all together. Still, the intricacies of your relationship were often ignored in favour of relishing in the moment…in a type of wedlock bliss. It was strange, without the labels of ‘lover’ or 'partner’. You established neither boundary nor creed, yet somehow…somehow he always knew. Could he read your mind, or were your wishes twinkling like a thousand constellations amid your eyes? Either way, you presumed such fortune undeserved. Would he ever grasp the true extent of your gratitude? Could your heart’s rhythm reach his? Could he feel it when he humoured your silent demands for snuggles?
Well…those demands were his lifeline.
And while he danced with his memories, a melody so raw and unrehearsed clambered on to your tongue with an elephant’s grace.
“Hey…Hitoshi?”
What am I doing? I know I can ask him anything, but…how do I ask him this? Am I just supposed to say ’Are you really okay with me…with my Asexuality, with my reluctance to date, with…my non-conformity?’ And what answer am I supposed to expect? ’Absolutely not, and now that you’ve asked all the questions I thought you’d never ask, I feel that now’s the right time to leave you…to break your heart.’
“Yeah, (Y/n)?” Breaking him from the chains of fantasy had only ever failed once - in all fairness, the involvement of cats and Mr Aizawa played a key role.
'Eraserhead supremacy’, as Hitoshi always joked. He lived (and would surely die) by that doctrine. “Um, do you really not care about my…orientations? That sounds dumb, uh…what I mean is…I won’t ever feel comfortable with that level of intimacy. Is that really…okay with you? Don’t most people take that kinda stuff as a given? It’s holding hands, kissing, then…further, right? But I…I don’t wanna do that stuff. I don’t need to. I never will. You…you’re different. You’re normal. I’ve been thinking, and it…it just isn’t fair to tie you down like that…”
“That really how you feel?” Hitoshi’s eyes maintained their heavenward gaze, missing the tears that began to pool within your own. “I’m no more normal than you. We’re the same amount of weird, same amount of crazy…we’d have to be, or this wouldn’t have worked for so long. That stuff doesn’t interest me, but if it did, I’d push it aside for you. I’d push everything aside, to put you first. Thought you’d know that. Guess not, huh? Sorry for making you worry.”
“Huh? What are you apologising for? I’m the one who got all worked up over…over nothing. Well, it’s not nothing, but…I guess I just…assumed.” Guilt laced your voice.
Hitoshi turned, hand outstretched to caress away your crystalline sorrow. “I’m apologising because you were nervous to talk to me. You shouldn’t ever feel different. Not around me, not around anyone. No-one has the right to say anything, unless you give it to them. And it’s fine…we’ve only ever held hands anyway.”
In the pale moonglow, his humanity seemed to slip…as if it were a mask, from which a god would spring forth. The wind caught his soft, indigo tresses, pulling them in every direction. You might have laughed, if not for the lingering tone of austerity. As you nuzzled into his hand, you remembered the carollers, in all their merriment, who only hours prior, had recited a flurry of songs from 'Jingle Bells’ to 'All I want for Christmas is You’. During the latter, Hitoshi’s propinquity and warmth had kindled something deep within your heart. The word had evaded you, until now.
Love.
Before, its infinitesimal spark reflected the stars above - bright, yet…so very distant.
Now, it had blossomed. It was here…it was real.
“What are we, Hitoshi?” You dared to whisper, trembling not from the frigid weather, but the fear of his response.
“Whatever you want us to be.” He whispered back, paying no heed to the canvas of glitter and twilight.
I want us to be…so much more than we already are. I want those labels everyone else has. I want to be with you, forever and ever, though that sounds so childish. I want you to stay by my side, keep protecting me, keep giving me your jumpers when it gets cold, keep sneaking out at night, to watch the stars with me. I want to hug you, to hold your hand in public…I want to kiss you. I want to tell you exactly how much you mean to me. But I can’t say any of that. You know I can’t.
Both life and love echoed ephemerality, but it was a sentiment you staunchly refused. The labyrinthine nature of this love couldn’t pry your lips apart - the instant they connected, the butterflies fluttering in your stomach exploded into fireworks so dangerous and charming.
It was a kiss imbued with feelings finally realised.
It was a kiss…your very first.

Keigo Takami ღ Hawks x Reader
[FYI]: You’re whisper-singing this to each other ^^
—–
Temptation, enchantment, stars dancing against a backdrop of liquid gold…those eyes belied his humanity. How could such perfection be constrained to the land and sky below the heavens?
“You know I want you…
It’s not a secret I try to hide.
I know you want me,
So don’t keep sayin’ our hands are tied.”
Call it a tryst, a forbidden partnership…a gaping wound in the fabric of society, in which sin will fester forever. Call it dangerous, deem it disgraceful, but a word’s significance falls victim to fluctuation - to desperate and direful minds. Their guise of concern remained unheeded; Keigo embodied beauty and wit beyond all comprehension.
“You claim it’s not in the cards,
And fate is pullin’ you miles away,
And out of reach from me”
Another life, a dream, a fairy-tale…a faraway kingdom, a teahouse nestled between the realms of mortal and fae, or perhaps something entirely unremarkable…but together, you planned to venture. The lyrics of your song whispered a love so sempiternal, ghosting across lips and conjuring sleepy smiles, as you swayed to the rhythm of a single heartbeat.
“But you’re here in my heart,
So who can stop me if I decide
That you’re my destiny?”
The sun served as Keigo’s sole rival, but little competition was ever presented. A lifetime draped in darkness delighted in its infinite superiority to a lifetime without your beloved. The latter would be courtesy of a nightmare - never of a waking wish. The opportunity for doubt and regret had sailed by in the twilight. To it, neither of you had borne witness; a romantic entanglement of limbs and gentle breaths had sounded far too appealing. Every moment spent in the absence of a feathery embrace was torture, every reflection of the past - your past…interconnected, and now cherished so dearly - was bliss.
“What if we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine.
Nothing could keep us apart.
You’d be the one I was meant to find…”
Yet…you both understood the world for its acrimony…its frostbitten core. You weren’t made for each other - not in the truest sense, by instinct or divinity. His arms weren’t supposed to be your sanctuary…his wings weren’t supposed to grant asylum to your battle-weary body…his love wasn’t supposed to rain down upon you, echoing the sentiment that burrowed inside your heart. The mere suggestion of accord between yourselves and this world was likely a false and cruel jest, though it torched your embers until they burned beyond control.
What if…what if it was possible…?
“It’s up to you, and it’s up to me.
No one can say what we get to be…
So why don’t we rewrite the stars?
Maybe the world could be ours,
Tonight…”
No…it was a folly, entirely divorced from reason.
Nothing material dissuaded those whose hearts greyed at the edges, and yet…your pursuit was forbidden. But ‘surrender’ was another word to which you paid no due regard. Villain…hero…who would care upon your deathbeds?…When you died at love’s behest?
“You think it’s easy…
You think I don’t wanna run to you,
But there are mountains…
And there are doors that we can’t walk through.”
It carries such detriment, but on some odd ground, it became the epitome of joy. The spilling of the confessional waterfall became the greatest-worst mistake of the epoch. Intertwining fingers, lips that joined in a graceful tango…a mutual love - devotion…it was devotion, perhaps even worship.
“I know you’re wondering why because we’re able to be
Just you and me within these walls…
But when we go outside, you’re gonna wake up and see
That it was hopeless after all…”
The Adonis to your Aphrodite, master of the hunt and incomparably gorgeous, Keigo’s worth far exceeded your own. His birdbrained wiles reduced your legs to jelly, and your mind to mush. Your Keigo, your knight in faux fur…your warm and welcoming saviour - he who insisted that lovers, regardless of dynamics, should never live apart….
“No one can rewrite the stars…
How can you say you’ll be mine?
Everything keeps us apart,
And I’m not the one you were meant to find…”
This love was prone to squalor, doomed to failure, but oh so delectable.
“It’s not up to you,
It’s not up to me,
When everyone tells us what we can be…
How can we rewrite the stars?
Say that the world can be ours,
Tonight…”
The vestigial traces of hair that peppered his chin, the memories queueing on his tongue, just waiting to be recalled, the glimmer of mischief behind every glance, whether fleeting or eternal…you took inventory of these each morning and each night, praying that he never allowed sadness to spirit his smile away.
“All I want is to fly with you,
All I want is to fall with you,
So just give me all of you!”
But society, conventions…life, fought against this union. It felt impossible. Keigo disagreed.
“It feels impossible…
It’s not impossible…
Is it impossible?
Say that it’s possible!”
“We’re together because we need to be, angel. To Hell with anyone who thinks this is wrong…I’ve never been more sure of anything.” It didn’t arise from an argument, but frayed nerves and half-broken hearts. Four years later, and you loved more fiercely than any wedlock twain.
“How do we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine?
Nothing can keep us apart,
'Cause you are the one I was meant to find!”
The very nature of your…'occupation’, resisted Keigo’s dream of marriage. Perhaps it was silly, or even childish, to wish for a domestic life, without the complication of heroics or beck-and-calls, but…he wanted to call you his own. Officially.
“It’s up to you,
And it’s up to me.
No one can say what we get to be!
And why don’t we rewrite the stars?
Changing the world to be ours…”
“Takami (Y/n), has a nice ring to it, don'tcha think?” The futility of such a question had crushed his soul, but persistence usually paid off…right?
“C'mon pretty bird, we could get married in secret or something? I’m sure I could find somewhere…someone to officiate it? I just wanna be with you, so badly. Please…if it’s impossible…please take my last name anyway? C'mon, I’m begging you, (Y/n)…be my wife?”
You wanted to.
Of course you wanted to!
“You know I want you…
It’s not a secret I try to hide.
But I can’t have you…
We’re bound to break and my hands are tied…”
But…it was such a hopeless plight.

Dating Hawks
So I've seen a number of people think that Canon Hawks would be this emotionally manipulative boyfriend IF (big if) he were to find a romantic partner. While I can definitely see that what he's been through at the commission (and now learning about his father) it's understandable that one may think that it would make him heavily toxic in a romantic setting.
However, I feel like people are forgetting that Hawks has a self sacrificing personality. And I mean that in a literal sense. Hawks puts everyone's emotions before his own and I quote,
Tumblr media
So to put this in a romantic aspect, he needs and special kind of lover.
Hawks can't just be with someone who loves him for him. Hawks REQUIRES patience as he has probably never experienced genuine love and affection. He's NOT dumb though remember, he's known for his intelligence.  So he knows what the concept of love is, (through the commission and having fans) experiencing it and knowing the definition are two very different things.
Going back to the self sacrifice personality traits, because of this he'd probably have a hard time talking about his problems. Because the last thing he'd want is to make his lover worry ESPECIALLY about him. But he doesn't understand that not saying if he's ok or not only makes them worry more! So he needs communication in order to understand that.
I also don't see the whole Yandere thing with him. Stalking? He works too much. If he were to have a partner, they NEED to be ok with his work schedule. It shouldn't be surprising anyway right? Hawks CANT be with someone who's clingy and unwilling to accept that he will be gone for long periods of time because of his job.
Gives you a feather to "motor" you? He has to be within a certain amount of distance of the feather for him to be able to hear. Doesn't fly above just to watch cause again he's a b u s y guy. Basically, he wouldn't risk his career to be able to be by his partner's side 24/7. He has a busy life and would only be willing to be with someone who respects that.
I also learned through recent research about trauma that everyone is affected differently. I posted the article on a different post about MHA and mental health but I'll post it here too cause mental health is personally very important. Anyway point is, some may develop PTSD as a result of trauma while others recover from it all together. Because there's SO MUCH we don't know about Hawks, I can't say how much of his past has affected him.
He needs a listener. I think he would also want someone who understands him (don't we all) so he has to feel that they are on the same mental ground as him. Also no he is not a cheater. The bird he is based on mate for life and he takes every relationship with the people he's close to that we've seen seriously imo. Even if it's not romantic at all.
Endeavor? Looks up to and respects him (for obvious reasons). Twice? Considered him to be a good person and tried his absolute hardest to bring him over to the good side. I could honestly do a whole another discussion on him and Twice but y'all get the picture. The point is Hawks can be a good partner, he just needs TIME. It would be rough in the beginning stages as there are things he'll need to learn and accept. But if he can get over all those hurdles and his partner is still there, he'd put Fanon Hawks to shame.

Thank you for calling them out 🙏
Does endeavor deserve to be called out by Dabi? Yeah. Definitely.
Was Hawks wrong to kill Twice? No.
If he hadn't, the attack by the Paranormal Liberation Army would have been way more devastating thanks to Twice's Sad Man's Parade. Hawks, as the number two hero, gave Twice more than enough verbal offers to surrender and Twice turned the offers down every time. Hawks isn't a villain for doing what he had to. He didn't want to kill Twice. It wasn't some sort of pleasurable experience for him. Hawks chose the lesser of two evils and some of y'all really need to understand that. Please carry your trash takes elsewhere.
Do Shoto, Fuyumi, Natsuo and Rei deserve to have their lives upturned thanks to Dabi putting them on blast too? Hell no.
Does endeavor deserve to die by Dabi's hand? No. That defeats the purpose of him owning up to his past.
Swear, some of y'all villain stans read the manga with your eyes closed and sunglasses on. Hell, even the book is closed too 🙄

People who will vouch for hawks:
1. Tokoyami- didn’t care about what dabi was telling him, defended Hawks anyway. Even after seeing the video, I think he’ll still defend Hawks. Tokoyami knows more than most how hawks does his hero work and how dedicated he is. People are going to be trashing hawks left and right; and while tokoyami knows that he DID kill twice and he’s not sure how to feel about it, he ALSO knows that hawks is a good person at his core
2. Best Jeanist- he’s obviously involved/aware of Hawks’s mission and its urgency since he’s, you know, agreed to go along with faking his death and whatnot. We don’t know him super well, not sure how he’d react to hawks killing twice, but even just his existence vouches for hawks. If he can’t defend killing twice, he can at least defend hawks from being getting accused of being a villain bc his father was a villain
3. Endeavor- out of the three; endeavor’s probably the most likely to vouch for hawks, but he’s also the least credible at this point. Endeavor’s trying to atone for everything. I can picture him addressing the public and being like, “yes, what my son said is true. I have been an awful father, and I don’t deserve to be called the number one. But come after me, don’t come after hawks. I’m the one you should hate. Hawks is more of a hero than I will ever be” will anyone listen to him tho? That’s the real issue
So like, Hawks’s situation sucks and he’s going to Suffer™️, but he won’t be without allies

BNHA 291 had Hawks killing Twice broadcasted by Dabi while confirming his dad to be Takami the Thief who it turns out was also a murderer.
no thoughts only questioning if hawks knew the true extent of his father’s past at the time of his renaming because he refers to him as a thief not a serial killer but knows that Endeavor was the one that arrested him so was he thinking that he was some high level villain - given the fact his name was decently popular to the point where the commission changed his name so a hero wouldn’t be associated with that memory. but like...he must have either shared a quirk/appearance with Keigo because it’s not outdo the realm of possibility for this absolutely nothing kid to just have a similar name. Obviously not bc wouldn’t people be like “hey the #2 hero kinda looks like that one villain from a couple years back what’s up with that?”
Tumblr media
but the commission could’ve easily just changed his name to a name - not just a heroic title. were they already thinking of him as a tool when they told him to give up the name?
Did Hawks know what his dad did at that age? Everytime we see him pre-hero work he’s surrounded by garbage and alcohol.
Tumblr media
He mentions Takami being arrested by Endeavor 7 years ago” so he was 16 and had enough time to realize but did he know when he was taken in?
Did the hero commission take in this 7 year old boy and strip him of his name for unexplained reasons or did they explain that he can’t use it because people will associate him with a violent murderer despite him having no say or even memory in the matter? Did the hero commission give this child a complex based on the fact that people will inherently associate him with a bloodthirsty psychopath????
Dabi didn’t even broadcast Hawks’ real name! He didn’t give any context to the murder of Twice, which btw was to save the lives of children. People forget that issue bc Twice himself was a good, sympathetic guy but he was still an incredibly powerful man working under an association to harness the power of/kill children.
But heroes killing is still looked down upon. So is no one going to look at Touya “I’ve killed 30 innocent people” Todoroki burning their favorite hero who they just saw kill what they presume to be an innocent man and be like - “yeah, seems sus.” due to all the shock.
And again — DID THE COMMISSION TAKE THIS CHILD AND EXPOSE HIM TO THE IDEA THAT HE CANT BE SEEN HAVING ANY FAMILIAL CONNECTIONS BECAUSE PEOPLE MIGHT THINK HE’S A MURDERER AND THEN EXPLICITLY TEACH HIM HOW TO MURDER PEOPLE????? WHAT DOES THAT DO TO A PERSON??? ITS REMARKABLE HAWKS HASNT SNAPPED AND BECOME A MURDEROUS VILLAIN.
Tumblr media
and all this goes to my essay from months ago that Hawks has the villains backstory and Dabi has the hero’s....fucking hell.

Hawks: *hauls everyone’s ass for half a year so that Japan doesn’t get Thanos’d by Shigaraki’s 100% form*
Hawks: *offers to help Twice, saves him from Dabi’s flames*
Twice: *gets away and kills nameless-snake-arm-hero-dude*
Hawks: *kills Twice so he doesn’t kill more people and use Sad Man’s Parade to jeopardize the entire operation, while also buying him time to deal with Dabi*
Hawks: *it’s too little too late, gets his wings burnt off*

I couldn't help writing this, with the recent chapter...
Keigo Takami ღ Hawks x Reader
I recommend listening to the album ‘The Silent Force’, by Within Temptation, whilst reading this, specifically 'Somewhere’, 'Memories’ and 'Swan Song’.
Recent Manga Spoilers.
—–
Lissom and limp enough to imbue disgust, Keigo twitched under your hands. “I failed…(Y/n), I-”
“Rest now, my songbird. This burden is no longer yours to bear.” The melody of love, so thinly-veiled, still basked in erstwhile euphoria - times, memories, stories forthwith confined to mental domains.
If Keigo is to die, I pray he squires my heart - plucks it from within my chest, else I dwell alone on this forsaken Earth.
Ere the formation of this battleground, ere the battle itself, a single, overarching concern would linger, awaiting each moment a smile claimed your lips. It was the convention of rivalry, between society’s protectors and their oppressors. Keigo had little qualms regarding the breaching of boundaries, but…this union, this elixir most cardinal (and his lips, ambrosial in touch and taste)…for this, the stars charted no future.
I have never wished so fiercely for a god…for divine intervention. There exist no words to sate his pain, though I still speak. I must! If he…without comprehending the true extent of my love…Is there no salvation, for a man so pure of heart? Cruel…what cruel reality…
“Pretty bird?” Void of any sorrow or scintilla of vengeance, your voice was a mere whisper, so eerily serene. “I will always chase you, no matter the time, the realm…the circumstance. I belong with you, ad infinitum.”
You are my warmth, my light, my home. My fortune is immeasurable; my heart will never replace you. Before you, I had written Soulmates off as fantasy. Before you, I saw no value in this life. Before you, I had died a thousand deaths. You revived me, stitched up my heart. You ensnared it - ensnared me…Your eyes glow so beautifully, your character is so selfless, so…broken. I slipped past your defences in seconds. Yet, you never asked me to leave. And soon, that option disappeared. We must have broken every worldly speed limit. Was it…even that long ago…?
A strangled sob lured you from the nostalgia. “Y-You know I love…love you, r-right?”
“Of course. And I you, Keigo.” Your own wretched sounds knocked, but you denied them.
His eyes fluttered shut. “I-I don’t…want to die…” I don’t want to leave you behind.
You then allowed a single tear. “I wish things were different.” Please, don’t leave me behind.
I have no secrets with this man. No…I have one. But, our love was more than a simple folly, or miscarriage of youth. We never pretended. We never lied. If we had…would this still warrant such grief, such agony?…Why is life so ephemeral? Why is life so cruel? Why is he being led to Heaven’s gates already? Why…? Please, please stay. Stay here. Stay with me. Don’t leave…don’t let them take you.
As an attempt at amelioration, he choked out a laugh. “I’ll put…put in a good word…for you.”
“My name is a bane to the angels.” You were ever-so grateful for his words, his light breaths…“But I will break from the chains of Hell, to be together with you again.”
“Don’t be…sad.” He mumbled, ignoring his own pleas.
Woe poured from his eyes, infinite and crystalline. They betrayed all the fear, self-deprecation and guilt, nestled deeply within his soul. Karma had him by the throat. Was this a just punishment? For the actions of his father? For allowing the Commission to direct his moral compass? Now…the embers of life were fading, and soon…you would be alone. All alone. Keigo understood you - how you coped…who you truly were, underneath the masque of villainy. For you, this victory would prove pyrrhic. His was too great a sacrifice.
Well, I guess one last hug is in order. I just wish it didn’t have to be the last…
He mustered the vestiges of strength, simply to open his arms in invitation. “…Cuddle?”
You accepted it, without a question or reappraisal. You cradled him…cherished him, one final time. In a hushed tone, you recalled happier memories. And as he followed them to dreamland, the rhythmic rise-and-fall of his chest slowed. It was gradual. It was torture. You prayed to awaken, to find him smiling by your side.
This nightmare…pass the crescendo - just reach your conclusion! I need this to end…I need to…enact retribution. The League…Dabi, he did this. The fault lies with him. He…he is the target, the source of this wrath. I can feel it claiming me. I’m sorry, Keigo…I will put an end to this. I am the one who failed. I will amend this. It may cost my humanity and…and our son, but…you are worth the world. I failed you in life; I refuse to fail you in death.
“I will meet you again, my starlight.”

Keigo Takami ღ Hawks {Omegaverse AU}
Fantastical visions of the future were few and far between - the hectic nature of professional heroism always managed to choke the life out of other, more selfish pursuits. Romance is considered within this category, for it seems to benefit none but those whose involvement is direct. Finding a mate under such conditions becomes an endeavour worthy of Hercules himself. The pain and fatigue were discouraging, and no-one kindled his interest - not even remotely.
Yet, instincts and unbearable yearning dictated his Omega’s flight pattern. Although his heat wasn’t in-bound, his heart refused to beat alone. To the contrary, its canary-song extended both encouragement and guidance to the love-lost and wandering Keigo: “In aeternum, find your forever.”
Forever, huh? Who’d be willing to spend the rest of their life with me? Bet I seem a tad too cocky for an Omega, being the Number Two and all that. What does ‘forever’ even mean? I could do forever, without a doubt, but…who’d do it with me?
Naivety glimmered behind his eyes, as he contemplated 'forever’. What were his requirements for an Alpha? How could an equipoise be bridged between work and domestic life? Which mask would he choose if…if 'forever’ remained elusive? Keigo’s prior method of coping was simple, but effective: KFC and cry. While ultimately refreshing, in the moment, death always seemed sweeter. It never advanced into a viable option, but a dramatic flair was par for the course.
“-and that’s the courting process of a Red-Tailed Hawk!”
Keigo’s over-investment in daydreams and quandaries had apparently immunised him from any outside force, until that very moment. Sparing a glance toward the ground, he recognised the familiar figures of humans and…hawks?? Wait…there were falcons, too.
So many birds of prey…and they’re all so well behaved. That woman…is she a Falconer? The Omega nestled within Keigo’s soul soared at the mere thought. …Is she an Alpha?
Little cooperation could be plucked from his mind, which knew wisdom from folly. However, despite its best adjudication, Keigo and his Omega (at this point, almost assumed to be two separate entities) decided against rhyme or reason. After all, if a bird squawks at you for submission, squawk louder to assert dominance. That tactic was flawless. Keigo puffed out his wings, swooping ever-lower, praying for even an ounce of attention. He received far more. At the instant of his descent from the heavens, the birds alerted you. Every syllable rolling from your tongue became jumbled, a crimson hue paining the canvas of your cheeks. This man…celestial, god-born…he was no stranger to your heart.
“Is that Hawks??” One of your students yelled, excitably. “What’s he doing here?? We’re nowhere near Fukuoka!”
“He does have wings, idiot.” The venom-laced retort went unchecked - you were busy ogling those symbols of beauty and strength.
Subtlety wasn’t an art you had perfected, but where was the consequence? Keigo certainly relished the experience, finding comfort in every sweep of your eyes, every compliment and feather-light touch. Had you asked permission? No. Did he care? Did he fuck. The opportunity for a congenial introduction had passed, and if honesty took the reins, How in the Fresh Prince of Hell do I approach this? KFC won’t solve every dilemma. Think, Keigo! What would the Colonel do? How would he weasel his Kentucky fried ass out of this? Not like…I need her to like me, obviously, but I need to say something! She could be my forever…
Unfortunately, your avian protectors (whom Keigo had ignored and then forgot existed) deliberated among themselves for all of two seconds, settling on a guilty verdict and sentencing him to death. His crime? Fuck knows, who cares? Their shrill cries and fiercely-beating wings sliced through the mirage of tranquillity.
You sighed. “Hestia, Rhea, inside voices please. Juno, Asmodeus, you aren’t menacing, so stop pretending to be. Why don’t you greet him, rather than saying all that nasty stuff, hmm?”
“You can understand them?” Incredulity punctuated his words - how fortune must finally be favouring him.
The birds were indignant, but eventually resigned. Just one of hopefully many triumphs for Keigo.
“Yes, that’s my quirk. It’s confined to birds though, so not particularly useful.” You smiled, failing to notice your students silently slipping away. “Oh, and eh…sorry. I didn’t ask before touching you. Your wings are just gorgeous.”
“Haha, nothing wrong with that. You’ve got good instincts.” He mused, feeling his cleverly-constructed character melt away, bit by bit.
Strident melodies and the giggling of tiny cherubs played games with his ears. “About that…are you an Omega, by any chance? The news always says you’re a Beta, but you don’t have that scent.”
“I am.” He was too eager and willing to provide such information.
“You’re an Alpha?”
Do you wanna get married? No…I can’t ask that. That’s beyond stupid.
You nodded. “Yeah, both my parents are Alphas, so it was practically a guarantee. Don’t mind the birds,” You added, after noting a sudden stare-down between Keigo and Asmodeus. “they’re…flighty.”
“That one hates me, for sure.” He huffed.
“He hates everyone, especially the people who get my attention. And…most male birds. He doesn’t get to decide how I spend my time though, despite his best efforts.” The gentle caress you afforded Asmodeus sent envious, yet calming whispers to his heart.
She’d be good with kids. Can I…can I make this work? Am I allowed to…? She’s looking at me the same way I’m looking at her…
Was he a hostage, or a voluntary captive? What did it even matter? If this happiness, so pure and unbridled, was a vice, then hurry and cast him to the depths of Hell.
In aeternum…I think I’ve found forever.
