Well, it’s literally one of my favorite moments because of how romantic it is.
Chasing after your childhood friend, who you’ve just had an argument with, catching your breath, then confessing your love your deepest, darkest secret.(Wait, but those are the same thing.)
Imagine a protagonist chasing his love interest and skidding to a halt to declare his devotion to her. “I will never stop chasing after you.”
This scene creams trope. It fckin oozes cliché. And I love it.

Reality:
I didn't really see anyone talk about these panels but I think they're important in Izuku's character rn. They show how he really feels and remind us that getting over all the bad stuff that happened in his life won't be easy or quick for him.

you know, since katsuki doesn't like hearing that he looks like a villain, i wanna hc that–deep, deep, deep down–he wants to hear things like he's handsome, good-looking, things like that. maybe even pretty, beautiful, and/or cute, but probably less so unless it's the right person (🥦💬).
which is also it's own thing, because katsuki will reject these sentiments until you break down his walls; kind of like a video game where you can't just spam attacks and beat the level, you actually have to be calculate and strategic.
not a lot of people get that, because they tend to start teasing him once they see him cracking, which makes katsuki get insecure and puts his walls back up ten-fold with artillery.
the only person who can get katsuki to crack–to make him flustered and blushy and desperate for more compliments–is izuku. because he's never joking nor is saying these things just because he knows katsuki wants to hear them—izuku wholeheartedly means every single compliment, and he always goes above and beyond katsuki's expectations.

Bakugou's skill as professinal being great, but his popularity low is so funny. Though, do you think it is accurate? I think, he'd be the kind to split opinions in half. Just what he does, currently. 💯
it is funny, and it definitely seems like the kind of thing to happen to him. like when he got cut out of the interview with todoroki 😂😂
and same, but i also think he'd be a lot more popular than people give him credit for.
i feel like most people assume he'd be unpopular because of how he's been treated so far: like he's been booed and scorned by so many people, citizens & pros alike. but, depending on the outcome of the war, i definitely think his popularity will rise.
i have a feeling that people will eventually come to know him as someone who is diligent and determined to be a pro-hero despite it all because of his major part in the war and newfound ability to prioritize saving and not just winning.
plus, i think people in universe–particularly the younger ones–will take a liking to his personality in general. there's nothing people like more than someone who will unabashedly speak their mind and talk their shit, especially if bnha-verse is similar to irl japan that still has a major focus on uniformity and not burdening others (?).
