Imagine Buck and Eddie going to Walmart. Buck forgets his phone in the car but that doesn’t matter, they’re together. Suddenly Buck has to go to the bathroom and Eddie decides to roam around while he waits. About 20 minutes later Eddie hears “Eddie Diaz your child is at register 10”. yall DO realize that when tags on ao3 are like "abusive relationships" "homophobia" "racism" "consent issues/r*pe" they are there to protect you, right? you do realize that those tags being there lets you know that an author RECOGNIZES when something is wrong and is explicitly tagging that because it's a story that discusses those things right? you do realize that the author is not *shudders* condoning those things, right?

To the anon who is being attacked because they don’t like Chim: I’m sorry that the fandom has come to this. We should all be able to like the characters we like and dislike the characters we dislike without race, gender or sexuality even coming into it. Personally, I hate Taylor Kelly with a flaming passion and I know many fans think that means I’m automatically a mysognist and an anti-feminist. It’s not true at all. As I tell my students all the time: you don’t have to like everybody, you don’t have to play with everybody, but you do have to treat everybody with kindness and respect.
