My 25 years of palaeoart chronology...
One of the most fun projects in 2003 was a series of greyscale murals I painted at Liverpool's John Moores University. They went all around one of the palaeo-labs and represented the Cambrian, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian and Triassic, Cretaceous, Neogene, and Quaternary.
Oh, and the face of the ice-age hunter was a portrait of the head of department at the time. We thought he would like being in the painting but it didn't go down well at all.
