Pre-New 52 Black Adam is a bastard who knows what he is doing and never regrets or begs for forgiveness, even though he thinks he is going to hell and will be punished. That’s why I like him.
I think Priest's Black Adam (ongoing) is not bad, but so far it’s not for me. I feel like Theo Teth-Adam is a completely different character than Teth-Adam I know. Well, maybe it’s a matter of taste…

Manchester Black is dead in Action Comics #1050... This is his second death. The first time, he killed himself after erasing Lex Luthor's memory about Superman's secret identity (Superman: Ending Battle).
He’s one of my favorite characters and I'm sorry that he died again. I hope he comes back soon.

Black Adam’s human form
Unlike Billy, Teth-Adam is depicted in a variety of appearances.
An ancient Egyptian/Kahndaqi
A guy with long hair & beards
A middle-aged gentleman
Christopher Priest changed Adam's name to "Theo Ramses Djoser Teth-Adam," so he seems to be a different person than Geoff Johns' Teth-Adam.
And Billy…
ah, always the boy!

Hmm, did Priest merged Theo Adam with Teth-Adam as the same person, having been separated by David Goyer and Geoff Johns?
FYI the origin story of “Theo Teth-Adam” is based on the New 52 Shazam! series.

It seems like his right hand is trying to kill Billy, while his left hand is gently touching the boy… as if he is regretting his past sin (he killed his nephew in this version of origin)
