Argentina
I feel like I haven't written in a while. Truth is, I was on holidays back in my hometown in Argentina. Everything felt so surreal. In the beginning, I was oddly comforted by the fact that it felt the same. Buenos Aires hasn't changed, my hometown hasn't changed at all. New shops opened and old shops closed, people grew older but for me it felt like I only left for two weeks.
I had the greatest time, my parents were waiting for me at the Airport and after a long day of flying I just wanted to rest and be with them. We ate in a restaurant in Bs As and then went to my brother's apartment to sleep. The next day, we woke up and continued our journey back to my hometown.
Once there, I spent most of the time in the swimming pool and playing with my niece. Spending time with my siblings and just chilling.
I met my friend and we went fishing one weekend. It rained, but we had fun nonetheless.
We also organised one of my friend's stag. He is getting married in two days with another one of my friends and I am mortified I couldn't stay for their wedding.
Although I didn't feel like I wanted to come back, there was nothing else for me to do. Once the departure day arrived, with all the sorrow I had in my heart I said goodbye to my parents and went back to Dublin.
