So according to the comic, The Blot rendered hundreds of denizens inert…if only this had been mentioned in the the game, it would have filled up a lot of plot holes.

Weird creative decision. I appreciate them putting an actual bridge on it to lower our frustrations, though

New gameplay of Epic Mickey Rebrushed was released today. And they showed gameplay of the Asian Boat Ride.
They changed the design of the Fire Bridge dragon animatronic. XD

My Oswald Kingdom Hearts design!
Tumblr media
Here's my design for Oswald for the 1st Kingdom Hearts game. I'll probably make changes once I get to work on the KH arc. (But he will be mentioned in the Twst arc. So check out the script on my profile when you get the chance.)

Epic Mickey was revealed to be getting a remake for the Switch, and DUDE I’M SO EXCITED Epic Mickey was such an influential franchise to me, as it was one of the first fandoms I ever got to be a part of. It’s what introduced me to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and a lot of other interesting aspects of old Disney animation (shout out to gremlins, I love those silly guys). The story of epic Mickey also scratched my brain back then, it still does. I’m so happy a new generation of people can experience this game, and I hope a lot of the charm it had (animated cutscenes and the special reels) are kept in this remaster. The two other slides are older pieces of mine made when I was invested in the fandom. Funny how my last big piece for it was just a little over 10 years ago today. With my revived joy for this franchise, I’ll most likely make more art with the characters from this game. Either Oswald, or a particular gremlin that shows face in the second game. Who knows who knows 👉👈

I did sun-moon characters to go with the whole thing im doing with the Clock Tower/ Glockenspiel!
These are Dahia and Cressida, two of the Small World/Gremlin village inhabitants, acting as a sun and a moon in the area. They are connected by a chain and a cog that moves left-to-right, never more, never less, symbolizing the 24 hours in a day
They too are affected by the Clock Tower’s/Glockenspiel’s mood—forming a Solar Eclipse whenever the Clock Tower goes mad, which explains the area darkening during his boss fight

What about the design concept of your version Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from Steamboat Willy?
Ah yes, thoses ! Well, there's still the sketches I made for fun from my sketchbook.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Overall, it's really just Mickey as you know it. Minnie and Pete are a bit inspired by their design in the mousquetaires movie,(my childhood fav !)
I did a few others, but you'll have to wait a little more, i still haven't planned the official finished thing.
...maybe for the release of the remake of Epic Mickey. I used to love that one back then.

Description:
Disney’s “Dark Kingdom” was going to be a park dedicated entirely to the Disney villains. Other ideas included Villain themed rides for the existing parks, as well. https://moviepilot.com/posts/4007833
In Wasteland:
What if the scrapped ideas for villain themed parks and/or rides were used as a prison for highly dangerous toons? That would explain why certain villainous toons aren’t seen (rather than assuming they just died in the Thinner Disaster) and would make for an interesting plot in future games.
This could also explain where animatronic Hook came from, and could be filled with other animatronic villains, as well.

Notice the difference between these tow maps?
Description:
Cannibal Cove was an area mentioned in Peter Pan, but never visited. It was later renamed Pirates Cove in later adaptions and spinoffs, likely to avoid offending anyone with the thought of cannibals in children’s media, or because someone thought it was racially offensive (some art shows them as “natives”)
In Wasteland:
Well, there aren’t any actual cannibals in Disney media, so likely just the name of an area.
….Unless we go “Samurai Jack Metal Eaters scene” on all this…but let’s not.

Description:
Oswald’s Barrel House from Poor Papa; which I’m sure would have been used if they had found the short before Epic Mickey was released.
In Wasteland:
Seeing how Oswald might have either lived at Dark Beauty Castle or Mickeyjunk Mountain leads me to believe that he lived in multiple areas of Wasteland to check up on things, similar to Walt having an apartment in Disneyland. As for his barrel home it was probably located around OsTown before it eventually became buried in what is now Mickeyjunk.
Ah, why didn’t I think of this? Thanks to whatawhatawasherton
