The old design of the Flying Spaghetti Monster figurine was clearly outdated, so I decided to make a new figurine, much larger and more detailed.

Cernunnos was the Gaelic god of beasts and wild places. Often called the Horned One, Cernunnos was a mediator of man and nature, able to tame predator and prey so they might lie down together. He remains a mysterious deity, as his original mythos has been lost to history. Usually he is always depicted with an elk skull instead of a head, but I decided to move away from this. I tried to mix here the images of the Minotaur, Pan and of course Lucifer. Rooted and Mushroomed Horned God   this and other figurines in my Etsy store

For the sake of experiment, I bought an old Helios 44 2 lens, made in the Soviet Union. The point is that it was disassembled and the front lens in it is deployed, which is why at the very central point of the frame there is a small area of sharpness and everything else takes on a bizarre circular blur . Not very suitable for photos of my figurines, but rather for bright nature shots, such as flowers, mushrooms and insects. The picture will look like a watercolor painting, but for my purposes this lens may be useful to. this and other figurines in my Etsy store

The latest new product from my store this year Sophia and Demiurge I thought for a long time about how to depict them together until I came to the decision to show metaphorically the birth of the Demiurge from Sophia’s braid, while her hair represents the space that contains our world. I’m also glad that the infinity symbol is easy to read in the figurine’s design. At the end there will be an initial sketch that I made before starting work.
The figurine is carved from ash wood. It is much larger than my other figurines, its height is 27 centimeters this and other figurines in my Etsy store

Aphrodite is an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion, and procreation. She was syncretized with the Roman goddess Venus. Aphrodite is born off the coast of Cythera from sea foam. Her main festival was the Aphrodisia, which was celebrated annually in midsummer. In Laconia, Aphrodite was worshipped as a warrior goddess.

Shango is an Orisha, a deity in Yoruba religion. Genealogically speaking, Shango is a royal ancestor of the Yoruba. The ancestral Shango was the fourth king of the town of Oyo. I tried to portray him in all royal grandeur, sitting on a throne decorated with the skin of a royal lion and surrounded by the attention of women. The natural forces associated with Shango are fire and lightning. His most prominent ritual symbol is the oshe, a double-headed battle-ax. this and other figurines in my Etsy store

Damballa is traditionally identified with or depicted as snakes. Damballa is said to be the Sky Father and the primordial creator of all life, or the first thing created by Gran Met By shedding the serpent skin, Damballa created all the waters on the earth. Sun shone in the water and created Ayda-Vedo (Rainbow) . Damballa fell in love with Rainbow for her beauty and made her his wife. As a serpent, he moves between land and water, generating life, and through the earth, uniting the land with the waters below.
