76 a few things, maybe several things

76. Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut of [Fanfic Name]? 

oh there's several, actually. no matter where you live was originally written as part of few things, and there's several scrapped drafts of the third chapter. i had something very specific to say, and it took a few tries to say it. most of the drafts varied wildly on a lot of the details.

there were also a few post-canon scenes of sonja and andor bitching together and trying to work through "oh boy my dad was a fascist but he used to just be Some Guy and i know exactly how he got there and now i need to tell my long lost grandpa that his son turned evil" but that really. wasnt the point of few things? you know the fic you know what it's trying to articulate.

okay real talk i did finish out the series and there are a very few very compelling bits and pieces towards the end. the finale is worth watching if you want vague catharsis for a couple of characters, but once the boats and tree people and chickens start showing up it may not be the worst idea to hit the bricks.

btw since everyone ive talked to ever whos seen isles says that the second half of the series sucks. uh. what episode do i stop at? at what point is it just Not Worth It Anymore

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
