Great another person asking to hear Velvet sing for them, this was about the third time today she was asked to do so and was forced to sing no matter how shy she actually was, so maybe this wasn’t the best job for a shy girl who liked to wear fake rabbit ears around her closest friends, but a job was a job and this job just turned out to have some weird requirements on the side no one actually mentioned to her.
“Oh uh well...I would love to sing for you, but no one actually gave me an assigned song or anything...is there anything you would like to specifically hear sir? Of course it must be something that is uh...family friendly”
In a single day this job went from the best waitress job in the city to the worst sing along order taking career of her life and her shyness didn’t help when it came to actually using her voice to perform what was required of her of course she WAS going to sing even if she wanted to say no, now all she needed was to get a song name from the customer.

“Well, hello there beautiful~” Neptune said, greeting his waitress as she approached the table. He grinned, looking up at her from where he sat at a table meant for two in the Glee Cafe. He was supposed to have met up with Sun for lunch, but the other’s practice was running late. Which meant his lame roommate was getting a doggy bag of leftovers.
Everything about Neptune could be considered cool. At least, to those who didn’t know him personally. He had to right vibe going almost constantly, he never tripped over his words and he always knew just what to say. Girls loved him, guys envied him… it was a sweet life, to be fair. His smile was charming, his eyes calming, yet just serious enough to make most girls swoon when he spoke to them. He was a charmer, and there was no doubt about it.
“Before I get to my order, I’d really like to hear you sing for me.”

Bingo, once the tone in Jaune’s voice changed Velvet knew she had a few more pictures to take and then a bit of money to spend though it was worth it she was able to get extra pictures of the building before hand so she could send a few to a friend if need be.
“Yep! Just a few more pictures, maybe five more then you can pick a place and we can go and grab some lunch...sound good to you jaune? I’m working on something small to send to someone and this will really help out a lot, so just a few more alright?”
Velvet snapped a few quick pictures counting in her head ‘three’ she then moved a bit and took four more quick pictures. ‘more than i intended to take but it gives variety i guess’ she then stood up putting her camera away and gave a nod to the male signalling she was done taking pictures.
Lights, Camera, Please Don’t Suck.
“Velvet, you said ‘a few more’ half-an-hour ago! My video games need my love Velvet, I can hear them calling to me! They need me soon- did you say lunch?” Jaune dramatically swooned around, making a fool of himself…until the mention of free food was mentioned.
Quickly readjusting himself, “Ahem, so, what other poses did you need?”
Jaune just started to make as many poses as he could, many of them sloppy and overdone, but hey, he was trying.

“Wait! Come back! Who’s going to get me down from here?!”
“Maybe call one of your friends, the fire department, maybe the police? i can’t exactly help you myself, but if it means anything i can take a picture of you that’s about all i can do.” Velvet said lifting her camera to take a picture of the man who was oddly hanging from the light fixture. “How did you even get up there?”

Velvet gave a nod raising her camera snapping a few photos before moving to the side and taking a few more pictures after getting onto one knee she needed multiple pictures to be able to choose which one had the best lighting to show off what the place of interest was all about and having Ruby looking away from the camera was all that much more better making it look like she was talking to someone.
“Yes Ruby that is just what i was looking for! Hum, i feel there could be more activity here it’s good as it is, but it could use a few more people sadly i don’t think there are many others around wanting to help a photographer take a perfect picture...move to your left just a small bit please.”
Velvet asked this though her assumptions might be wrong about people wanting to help her, Velvet didn’t exactly want to ask anyways she hated the idea of approaching a stranger and randomly asking for help so ruby would do, if it wasn’t enough she could always come back another day and try again.
Pose for me Rose!
“Like this?” She asked again, this time with a few changes to her position.
Ruby tries to relax her posture and keep her facial expression as neutral as she can. Looking away from the camera was easy for her since having to face it directly, especially with a smile, would be nerve-wracking for her.
“Okay Velvet, I think I’m good to go now! Ready when you are!”

The words ‘exhilarating experience’ made velvet shiver slightly she was always warned about going outside at night and about the things that could happen if it got too late before heading home though yang was strong so if velvet could just manage to keep up with the excited blonde and stick close to her Velvet knew she would...probably feel pretty safe.
“Oh well i uh never even considered going out to anywhere once most children went home, some of these places can be a bit...how do i put this...tense? When there are not many people around...I-i mean i’m not scared or anything, but things could happen...as for my routine don’t even pay mind to it...so what is this...just a walk through the park? That seems pretty calm i guess what about after this?”
Velvet asked many questions trying to map out the course of the night in her head she expected it to be a straight lined walk across the park, but with yang the chances of something that calm was pretty low for all velvet knew yang might break out into a run jumping from object to object and shouting ‘parkour!’ after landing on three or more objects.

Velvet gave a few blinks looking at the man and reading her camera to take a photo or two sure it was unscheduled, but she had time to spare so easily it was something she could let slide by moving a few things back...and a few more things forward, maybe cancel one or two things, but Velvet thought nothing of it it wouldn’t be the first time she would have change a few things.
“Um yeah i think they mentioned that name it a few times while i was around, but i don’t think they ever went into detail about you, My name is Velvet Scarlatina it’s a pleasure to meet you Qrow er...i mean mister Branwen i’m good friends with...well i consider myself good friends with Ruby and Yang, Hold that pose!”
Velvet said quickly raising her camera and taking a photo “Wow you and Yang are pretty good with photos, do you mind if i take a few more?” Velvet said taking a few more pictures anyways regardless of the older males answer.

He pushed his hair back one last time while the girl he’d bumped into, who he thought was friends with the two girls, was readying her camera. “A photographer, hey? They might have mentioned it once or twice around the house.” Qrow offered the brunette a small grin. “I’m Qrow Branwen, Ruby and Yang’s uncle. You might already know that.”

The first words to come to mind when yang asked her last question to let Velvet speak were: ‘Not really’ but Velvet knew she couldn’t say that and even if she did it would have been a lie Velvet enjoyed the time she was able to spend with people like Yang, the people who actually bothered to talk to her besides her friends back from before she had moved back then everything was fun.
“Yes more details than ‘Meet me at the park!’ would be very nice, you know i don’t mind you calling me...but i rather do enjoy keeping my routine, but since i’m already here i have no reason to object to the proposal, alright, i’ll hang out with you tonight...but...where on earth do you plan for us to go?”
Velvet asked this slightly tilting her head and looking over Yang’s clothing to see if it was something flashy, normally flashy clothes meant a club visit, Fancy, Fancy meant Yang had invited her to dinner but forgot to actually tell her, or normal clothes, which could mean any of the above or more.

Velvet lowered her camera and gave a slight chuckle adjusting her footing then raised the camera up once more getting ready to take yet another shot of the blonde male since it was her day off she had a lot of time to spare and a lot of pictures to take.
“Oh come on Jaune tough it out i only need a few more to have a good selection to choose from and i’ve only taken twenty pictures, you really need to stop over exagurating it so much, please can you stay for just a few more minutes? I’ll buy you lunch if you help me out a bit more.”
Velvet said this resuming taking the pictures she really didn’t ask for a pose but they did provide a few good shots and a few rather entertaining ones she didn’t want to keep jaune here for too much longer so she thought a reward would be called for if he did stay.

Jaune was once again in front of Velvet’s camera, trying to find new poses to do. Ever since he ran into the brown-haired girl, literally, outside of the apartment complex, Jaune has been her willing victim model.
Right now, they’re outside the complex, with Jaune standing in front of said tree.

Eve was my first ever Blog on tumblr and i was very proud of it though my time as Eve was rather short i hope to one day be able to use this blog once again.]
“My name is Eve i am a highly intelligent Nasod. We nasod are more advanced than your basic machines of today though in elrios it is quite common to run into hostile Nasod due to hard feeling from the war with humans many many many years ago when most of the Nasod were wiped out due to the lack of EL energy we need to resum function though finding an elshard provided me with enough energy to function i had three choices: Become a queen of destruction, Become a Queen and create servants, Or restore my race at the cost of my own personality though i desired to neither destroy the human race nor restore my own for that would only create another war between the inhabitant of Elrios and the Nasod race because of the failing of the world’s resource needed to live so i split the energy i have into four and shared it with the servants i had left though the AI needs improvement i am slowly making advances in my technology. Mission complete, time to rest.”
