Nonverbal expression/actions can show so much more than what you are actually saying with your words. There are some people who can’t express what they’re feeling at the moment through talking, so body language and facial expressions are the usual forms that they often go for, in order for them to communicate to the other party.
I found these pictures in my gallery, and to the viewers I think it is clear to see what emotions and thoughts the pictures are depicting. There’s shocked, happy, surprised, overwhelmed and more. Just by looking at these pictures, we can tell that there is so much more to communication, it’s not only talking and writing but it’s how you act in your daily life with other people.
For the question “do you think that when it comes to love, words are more important than actions or is it the other way around.” In my understanding, there is not a single answer that works for everyone. Love works differently for each couple, but as long as the they communicate and they know each other’s love language, may it be through talking for reassurance or through actions and gestures, it will surely work out just fine.

Should schools use electronic textbooks to save paper?
Certainly, there are different pros and cons in E-textbooks and printed textbooks, and we’re going to talk about those in this essay. A little history about printed textbooks is that it has been around for a long time. In 1690 a beginning reader that contained religious and moral lessons was used in American colonies for more than a century, so most other textbooks were imported from England. In short, printed textbooks have been with our ancestors and us to provide us knowledge for generations. Printed textbooks are part of our history and our school lives. The answer to the question ‘Should schools use electronic textbooks to save paper?’ is only in my opinion with the given information to back it up, every one of us can have different thoughts on this topic.
According to (Mcneil, 2019) E-textbooks can take up a lot of memory or storage in your device but it is less expensive and is much easier to carry, in one device you can put many notes, much less weight to carry physically. Most printed textbooks are expensive compared to purchasing the book in electronic form but since we students are also busy people with extracurricular activities and personal matters, we usually tend to stay up late at night just to study and according to (O'Brien) digital books aren’t the best for late-night studying, electronic readers suppress the brain’s production of melatonin and make it harder to fall asleep. E-Books require higher cognitive effort and it hurts the eyes, so paper books are healthiest for nighttime reading (or studying). Also printed textbooks are much easier to read and students can remember more information when reading on paper and it’s also less distracting than electronic textbooks.
As a student myself, I also tend to stay up just to prepare for exams. I am all for fair purchasing costs but I value health more than advantages. So, I think we should stick with printed textbooks, it may be expensive but with a good exchange. Statistics say that as of 2013, 87% of undergraduate and graduate students chose paper printed over e-books even if the cost were the same and 92% thought paper was easier to read (O'Brien).

Analysis
Analysis:
Nelson Mandela : Freedom and Justice
Nelson Mandela was awarded an honorary degree in Harvard, and with that he gave an informative speech to his people while reading a manuscript. I’ll say that he was successful in delivering his informative speech. For he included details about the world’s wrongs and he also mentioned that Africa, United Stated and the West will now join hand in hand and support each country without degrading one another, which was a really big deal to the African citizens, because they finally ended the apartheid, thanks to Former President Nelson Mandela.
Emma Watson: Gender Equality
Actress Emma Watson, gave a memorized speech about Gender Equality which I think was both informative and persuasive, because she was informing the listeners about what the word ‘feminist’ has become and also about her experiences which can persuade the listeners to think about gender equality which is good for today’s time.
Darrent Tey Wen Jie: Outsmart;Outlast
Darren Tay Wen Jie gave a memorized speech which was both entertaining and persuasive. As he was a bullied kid he persuaded the audience that they shouldn’t run away from their inner bullies but to acknowledge it instead.

Ted Failon
Ted Failon, a man that has dedicated 30 years of his life to ABS-CBN and his job just to serve and bring news to the citizens of the Philippines. That’s already a likeable trait for a person, loyalty. I watched clips of Failon Ngayon, TV Patrol and his farewell video on August 31, 2020, and one thing that really made me kept listening to him was his voice. His voice is deep and has an effect similar to a spell of some kind that really wants to make you keep listening, and that’s a good thing. It’s really important to his job that he gets the audience to pay attention. And another thing I like about him is that he values his coworkers, I saw that they treat each other like family.
For the question, “How effective was he in communicating what he wanted to say?”. I would say he was very effective in what he wanted to say during his last episode in TV Patrol. Even though personally, I don’t watch the news that much, I was intrigued during that episode. Because I really felt his passion, and sincerity while he was speaking, and especially when Ted and Kuya Kim were exchanging their thoughts, I actually teared up. I really felt his love for his job and his coworkers and he really showed his true emotions, and with that I can say that Ted Failon is a good person and a great news anchor.

Synopsis and Analysis to the movie “The King’s Speech”
Synopsis(200)
The movie “The King’s Speech” talks about the speech struggles of King George VI but along with it, it showed his friendship and journey with Lionel (his speech therapist). King George VI stammers when he speaks and then his father, King George V, ordered him to give the closing speech at the Empire Exhibition in Wembley, London. That closing speech broke King George VI, it really lowered his self esteem.
Their family had some issues especially with David, the crown prince, for his girlfriend is already married yet still he still sticks with her and he’s staying in America with her. Years later King George V got sick and David had to go home. Unfortunately when their father died, David was not amused to be crowned King, so he gave the responsibility to the 2nd prince. Albert had no choice but to accept for the people needed a King. So King George VI worked so hard to better his speech and avoid stammering with the help of Lionel. And in the end he succeeded in giving his first war speech. King George VI finally overcame his obstacle in the end with the help of his family, Lionel and his own voice.
 Analysis(300)
While watching the movie there were a couple of elements of communication but there was also some miscommunication with the main character and the supporting character, Albert and Lionel. I noticed that the elements of communication were in the movie, for example, speaker, listener, message channels, feedback and response.
You can really see the elements during the last scene, wherein King George VI was giving his first ever war speech. The main speaker being King George VI(Albert), the listeners are his people, the message was the declaration of war with Germany, the response was when the people clapped and cheered and the feedback was when the staff was complimenting King George VI when he walked out of the studio. On the other hand you can see the channel element during Lionel and Albert’s therapy sessions, where you can see Lionel helping Albert by letting him speak through his mouth while letting him listen to music so that he can’t hear himself and because of that Albert successfully delivered a bit of a message.
For the miscommunication part of the movie it was mostly because of Albert and Lionel. Albert has low self esteem and he refuses to listen to his own voice and also he’s too stubborn to accept Lionel’s advice and the way Lionel treats his patients. But the miscommunication was two way in the movie. The thing that I noticed about Lionel in the movie is that his problem is he doesn’t reply immediately, but I feel like he only did that because he wanted to let Albert figure thing out by himself, but they mentioned that Albert was hot tempered and stubborn so it wasn’t gonna be easy and the way Lionel teaches Albert was a bit of a risk.
This movie can really help a lot of people, because it talks about an issue that a lot of people can relate to, like social anxiety, stuttering, stage fright and more. What I got by watching the movie is that, people should never forget to listen to their own voice and remember that there will always be someone that will listen to them no matter who or what you are.

You can tell from this video that Jimmy Nelson is really passionate about his job. Documenting with photos and writing a book isn’t an easy thing to do, it takes time and dedication and i salute him for that. I noticed that he talks really fast, even though I’m just watching him i also feel like I’m running out of breath, but other than that everything was good. I liked how he was interacting with the audience and not just standing in one place during the whole speech. His story and experiences really amazed me, I didn’t even know that nomads still exists so it was an educational piece for me and i enjoyed learning about tribes and indigenous people and on how he’s showing them to the world that we need to protect them and know about their existence. But my favorite part of the video was in the end wherein he said “you’re all a tribe” then took a picture of the audience. Lastly i just want to know if he did go back to that one tribe that had 80 people and asked for copies, and if he did, I’m impressed .

My model of communication called Sacay,2020, is kind of inspired by Aristotle’s model. The explanation for my model is that, whenever people receive information from other people in whatever form of communication that may be, there’s always an action that follows. Might be pass the message to other people, or do the thing that the speaker told them to do and more. The reason why i also added ‘clarification’ is because most people today know that a lot of conflicts happen because of misunderstandings and now whenever they talk about something they make sure it’s correct, or they just ask questions for further understanding.
