DEATH STRANDING NEW PROJECT: TEASER POSTERS CHRONOLOGY
It’s DEATH STRANDING hype time again! After some teasing from Kojima, we have confirmed that a new project is underway. Norman Reedus accidentally leaked the project in May, – which granted us this amazing tweet by Kojima himself– but nothing happened for a time.
In September, a first teaser was posted on social media, and fans quickly caught on that the woman in the poster was Elle Fanning, mostly because it seems that the photo they used perfectly matched another one, like this gif from u/thealexp on Reddit:
Today October 8th, a new poster indeed confirming Elle Fanning’s involvement was unveiled at PAX in Melbourne, Australia in a QR code, which revealed our first official poster as per Lance McDonald.
As you can plainly see, the image depicts a logo very similar to those of the distribution centers in DEATH STRANDING.
Not only that, but the strands that connect the world and the beaches are visible and, most telling, the very same font is used on both projects.
Moreover, seemingly and in a very Kojima fashion, we have a SECOND woman teased at PAX. Although very similar, the hair is different and seems braided. It looks a lot like Aloy’s hair to me.
