I’m changing Rosa’s age a bit to better fit the timeline I’ve got in my head for her, here’s a small run down of said timeline.

0-12 Years Old- Lived in the Team Plasma Commune 12-15 Years Old- Lived in Aspertia City 15-16 Years Old- Traveled Unova on her Pokemon Journey & in search for N 16 Years Old- Lived with the reforming Team Plasma 16-17 Years Old- Traveled Unova in search of self & societal forgiveness 17 Years old- Discovered by her manager and beginning of her acting career 17-21 Years old- Growth of her popularity as an actress and start of her timeline now

Rosa’s most popular role is her role as Riolu Girl in the cinematic series of the same name. It’s a superhero movie adapted from a comic series about a girl whose friendship with her Riolu gives her super powers very akin to that of a Riolu’s move set. She uses these powers to fight other friendship pokemon powered villains that threaten her home while she simultaneously trying to live a normal life.

Rosa didn’t know anything about the comic series when she auditioned for the role, her manager simply told her that the role would be good for her career and Rosa ended up really fitting the character. It was only after they finished filming the movie that Rosa discovered the comics and wound up getting hooked on them.

The movie wound up being a big hit region wide and even a few outside regions picked up on it due to it’s popularity in Unova. It was Rosa’s break out role and still the one she’s most well known for. It probably doesn’t help that they’ve made two more Riolu Girl movies now as well. A lot of people recognize her off the street as ‘Riolu Girl’ even. She doesn’t mind people recognizing her more for that role then for herself. In fact she kind of likes being associated with a character so well known for her importance in regards to friendship and justice. Occasionally she’ll be recognized for her other roles or for her time going through the Unovan Pokemon League. However her other roles are less popular, though no less exciting to be recognized for!

Rosa + Letters

Rosa still writes letters to her friends and loved ones. Obviously when something is important she’ll contact them through faster methods over her Xtransreciever or over the internet. But when she has down time she enjoys writing letters to her friends to show she’s still thinking about them, always holding them close to her heart. She’ll usually send the letters to be delivered by a Pidove or just through the mail if her friend lives too far for a Pidove to comfortably fly there. The letters usually consist of Rosa talking about what’s been happening to her, relating what’s happening to her to how it reminds her of her friends and asking her friends how they’re doing. Sometimes she’ll send a small gift with the letter, maybe a pressed flower or a small bracelet or small toys, anything small that just made her think of her friends. Letter writing is very relaxing to Rosa it lets her get the events of the days out while also allowing her to express her fondness for her friends who she doesn’t get to see very often. It’s an important hobby for her that she holds very close to her heart.

Rosa was highly against battling and training when she first started her journey. She thought it was unusually cruel to force pokemon to fight. At first she refused to fight any wild pokemon or trainers she came across which annoyed Ivy, her Snivy, greatly. Ivy wanted to fight he was bred to fight in pokemon battles as well as just thinking battling was great fun. These conflicting ideals put Ivy and Rosa at a great odds for a long time. Rosa attempted to release Ivy several times thinking this would make things better between them. Except it only made things worse as Ivy would just return to Rosa’s side more annoyed then before. Ivy had no interest in being a wild pokemon he was raised in captivity with no idea how to live in the wild and frankly he preferred being on a team rather then alone. Rosa’s first battle with Ivy was against a Patrat that refused to let the two go without a fight. Rosa took notice of how excited Ivy was to fight then how proud he was to have won the fight. After that she began participating more in battles along with attending the Trainer’s school to learn more of how to fight for Ivy’s benefit. Battling helped her to learn to spot the difference between a pokemon who actively wants to battle verses one who doesn’t.

Since then Rosa has come to love battling feeling that it gives her a better understanding of her pokemon as well as those around her. Now she’s even eager to battle and will accept most any challenge offered. In the rare instances she has time off she likes to participate in local battle competitions to learn new techniques or just meet new people. One of her favorite places to hide out is the Battle Subway where she can battle many people in different types of battles.

Not everybody enjoys running their blog this way and that's a-okay. But removing the idea that RP interactions are something that can "expire" or that the asks in your inbox have an unspoken "due-date", takes the pressure off of both your partners and yourself and can help bust feelings of stress/anxiety from the hobby. Reblog to let your partners know that you're just jazzed to receive new writing from them, whenever it comes.

I'm really liking her in Pokémon Masters...

Rosa doesn't know that Ghetsis is still out there. Last she remembers of him is her defeating him, then everything just goes dark or blurs together into incomprehensible bits until she woke up in the hospital weeks later. Rosa assumes he was caught and put in jail like her mother was. She doesn't know the Shadow Triad took him away, that he's still out there and if she found out the truth, it'd terrify her.

Rosa is terrified of Ghetsis to her very core. He is legitimately a thing of her nightmares and her primary solace is when she tells herself "He's locked away, he can't hurt anyone anymore". It hurts to think that, it physically hurts her thinking about that. Because that is a lie. She just doesn't know it's a lie. Yet it can't even pass as a personal truth that can sate Reshiram. Because the statement itself is false, the truth is that she doesn't know where Ghetsis is and that leaves her awake at night.

This blog will not RP with 'writers' who use AI.

This goes for anything about your blog by the way. Not just writing, but icons, graphics, anything having to do with your blog. Even if you're not transparent about it and think that the AI is 'so good nobody will notice', people will find out, we always do.

This is a creative hobby. Most rational people will understand that not everyone can have fancy graphics & icons, but that doesn't mean you have a machine pull from 100,000+ stolen & scraped pieces of art & other images from multiple unknowing creatives to cobble something together to supposedly make your blog look 'nicer'.

Either make your own icons / graphics, and/or commission someone to make them for you. There's also plenty of free templates for you to check out that take less effort to find than feeding a prompt that's currently responsible for making life harder for creatives such as us. End of.

Just had the realization that Rosa wouldn't even know when her birthday is. In the commune holidays of any kind weren't really celebrated because they'd be a distraction from the mission(Liberation of Pokemon). Rosa likely learned of other Holidays during her travels around Unova. But her own birthday? She wouldn't know that as most of her records were destroyed either before her mom joined Team Plasma or after the commune was burnt down. The hospital she was born at probably has them but Rosa can't exactly find that cause 1. She doesn't know WHERE she was born and 2. doesn't even know her real last name in order to look that up.
