"What if we were stars?"

Concept art for my upcoming webtoon "Plein Sky"~ =w= the story will be following my two characters Nova and Tommie and their experiences in life~ it'll take place after they graduate high school and become uni students O3O

I've been working on this webtoon a lot lately and I'm really determined to get it out and have a consistent update schedule... haha... if any of you remember my other webtoon it is on hiatus indefinitely :D I know I could have gone back to it instead of starting this once but I wanted something fresh and have changed and grown quite a lot since my other webtoon, so "Plein Sky" fits me more right now O3O

As for this artwork, I actually spent so long choosing a colour scheme for the sky omg... I redrew the sky like 5 times with different colour palettes before just deciding on a classic blue sky XD It's been a while since I drew a blue sky and it was so fun~ Blue's my favourite colour so =w= I'm also actually really happy with how the clouds turned out! They look so fluffy and simple~ So I like them quite a bit =w=

Anyway I'll be posting a lot for this webtoon in the future and am aiming for a February release but we shall see how it goessss (I really want to get at least the prologue out before March...) So I hope you'll look forward to it!

Final silhouette drawing of Aester and Loure from my series 'HUERIUM'~ OuO Looking back, it's kind of crazy that I drew all of them within 24 hours (with no sleep...) XD Overall I think I did a pretty good job =w=

Drawing these skies kind of made me remember how much I love drawing skies and how fun they are~ but it also reminded me of how difficult it is to try and come up with new skies to draw, whether it be to change the colours or composition... it's difficult thinking of something new :'D When I drew the skies for my artbook 'COSMOS' last year, I remember struggling so much and burning out because I tried to draw so many skies in such a short time frame... =3= So I'm definitely not going to rush that kind of thing in the future but I'm glad I ended up finishing the artbook~

Now that I've posted quite a bit for 'HUERIUM', I'm probably going to start posting for a new series I've been working a lot on lately... O3O It's going to be released as a webtoon next year so I hope you'll look forward to it! I'll be drawing a lot of skies for it XD

Another silhouette drawing of Aester and Loure~ they're a bit closer to the camera this time so you can see them a bit more clearly =w= It's another purple sky~ this one is quite similar to one of the first skies I drew; "Boundless Sky", but this one is a bit deeper and darker~

My laptop unfortunately doesn't display colours correctly so I have to constantly transfer screenshots of my screen to my phone every time I draw... it's a hassle but there's not much else I can do :'D (except maybe get a monitor or new PC but that's besides the point-) So when I was sending screenshots to myself while drawing these, I was lowkey surprised by how the colours actually were XD I've always been experimenting with lighting and colour correction so luckily I'm able to alter the colours the way I intended~ Otherwise my drawings would very dark and saturated XD

I used to not really pay much attention to colouring and lighting but now it's one of the things I focus on the most XD So I hope you like it~ =w=

Another silhouette drawing of Aester and Loure~ I wanted to draw some tree branches covering some of the sky and needed to figure out the angle and composition and I think I did ok~ =w=

Even though I use a lot of purple in my artworks and draw quite a fewww purple skies, I generally tell myself to avoid purple because it's difficult choosing the level of saturation XD It's really easy to oversaturate purple welp =3= A lot of the time with my purple skies I end up having to hue shift some of it to blue because otherwise it'd be too purple XD But oh well~

I think I did a pretty good job with this one and I hope you like it too =w=

Second silhouette drawing of Aester and Loure from my series 'HUERIUM' =w= It's fairly simple in comparison to the previous one, but I always like using various shades of blue~

Drawing skies without clouds are much faster because clouds take a lot of time to draw and shade, but I find it quite difficult since clouds make up a lot of the composition... I'm incapable of drawing simple skies because I keep adding more and more to it so every sky I draw ends up being some form of complex XD It's hard filling up a sky without clouds =3= I rely quite a bit on the complexity of my skies so maybe one day it'll be nice to try and draw a simple one~

I think this sky is about as simple as I'd get with the current skies I draw XD I'm not sure if it looks a little empty without clouds but either way I hope you like it~ =w=

Silhouette drawing of Aester and Loure from my series 'HUERIUM'~ I drew this around 2 weeks ago =w= (I drew 6 within 24 hours... send help)

I know I say it every single time I draw a sky but I'm a little rusty since I haven't drawn skies in a while XD To be honest, sometimes I draw blank for what kind of sky I should draw since I've drawn so many... I know it's impossible to draw every possible sky but sometimes it feels like I can't think of any other colour schemes and stuff =3= but oh welllll

Ironically this whole ordeal kind of made me want to draw more skies again~ O3O I'm fairly reliant on skies because it's one of the things I know I can draw well, but I've been trying to focus on other things lately like colouring and lighting~ perhaps I shall draw more skies soon =w=

Honestly I made the sticker sheet as an excuse to have Midorima stickers- (and also to push my BUNNY MIDORIMA AGENDA) (HE IS A BUNNY BOY) But I do like the way I drew the others as well~ =w= Especially Kagami, I don't know why but back when I watched KnB as a child I didn't really care about Kagami at all, but nowadays when I was rereading and rewatching I was like damn... he's so stupid and earnest it's kind of endearing XD

Anyways this sticker sheet actually took forever to make, I don't know why but drawing simple things is always so time consuming and doesn't even take less time than drawing complex things?? But oh well =3= I'm glad I finished it and was able to print the stickers~ =w=

"Adventurers"

A NEW DRAWING!?!! This took foreverrrr but I finally finished it!! Aester's back and even though I originally wanted to introduce the new character in his own post... for various reasons I've decided to draw some childhood art of them instead~ So allow me to introduce Loure =w=

He's one of the main characters of "HUERIUM" so yeah O3O You will be seeing him a lot more in the future~ I'm still finalising his design because I keep changing it welp so for now I will just be drawing him as a child =w= I hope you like it!

I'm super duper busy at the moment welp... I'm in my last few weeks of uni and everything's due so I am currently unaliving as we speak 💖 (I'm using this for my uni so don't worry I'm not neglecting my studies) I have so much work to do I can't even joke about it argh... So expect me to be posting quite a bit in the next 2 weeks before suddenly disappearing under mysterious circumstances

Kuroko no Basket fanart in 2021?? Ya :) To be honest I've been wanting to make fanart for KnB for the past few years since it's still a show that's dear to my heart, but I always told myself to focus more on original art more than fanart O3O But I decided that I wanted to make some KnB merch since I can't find any so here it is! I'm going to make a holographic keyring of this in the future so yeah =w=

Drawing this took so long but it was also really fun XD I've been wanting to draw food for a while so it was a good opportunity to try~ I'm pretty happy with it so hopefully you like it too~

The big "do not repost" watermark is there because of my experience in the Haikyuu fandom 💖 So I've decided that henceforth I will apply this big watermark over any fanart I post on the internet :) Hopefully you'll still be able to admire everything underneath the watermark though XD I don't want it to be too distracting but I also want to make sure everyone can see it :)

Anyways~ I'm currently working on heapsss of Haikyuu merch (and a bit more KnB merch) so yeah =w= Hope you look forward to it!

"I want to heal"

New drawing~ took a while but I'm happy with it =w=

I haven't really been doing well lately, I know a lot of people know that now but I've seriously been having a really tough time. Because of some stuff in my life, I've been feeling really exhausted and unmotivated... It's hard getting out of bed then I blink and suddenly it's night time, I've kind of been in this loop for a while now

With a lot of bitter and sad feelings, I ended up starting a lot of sketches for some sad artworks... I've kept all of them in my drafts so maybe I'll finish them one day, but rather than spending my time drawing out all my negative feelings, I thought it would be better to draw something nice for myself instead

I am doing better than before, I wouldn't say I'm completely fine but I'm getting there and I'm starting to be motivated to do things and draw again, I even thought of a lot of projects that I'm excited to start on although I'm quite behind on all my current work, but I'm sure I'll be able to manage

Anyway~ I hope everyone's doing well and feeling good with their lives. I and a lot of my friends know that I'm primarily a logical thinker before an emotional one... so these past few weeks it was kind of like ah, I can get hurt too... But even so, I'll get better, I'm already getting better, and I hope that if you're not doing too good right now either, that you'll start healing soon too
