The Red Woman
“The flames crackled softly, and in their crackling she heard the whispered name Jon Snow. His long face floated before her, limned in tongues of red and orange, appearing and disappearing again, a shadow half-seen behind a fluttering curtain. Now he was a man, now a wolf, now a man again. But the skulls were here as well, the skulls were all around him. Melisandre had seen his danger before, had tried to warn the boy of it. Enemies all around him, daggers in the dark. He would not listen. “
“Melisandre had practiced her art for years beyond count, and she had paid the price.”

16th Century Sims, Pt. 1
Inspired by German Reformation era and the paintings by Lucas Cranach the Elder
Amazing @andantezen inspired me finally to do my favourite era. It wasn’t a hard decision after I saw the amazing ruffs/collars by @windermeresimblr and TS4 dress conversion (1st pic, right) by @joojconverts

New Christmas Story
This year, it’s @danjaley‘s turn to enchant us all with another fairy tale. Unfortunately, for the first time since 2017 I couldn’t support her.
But I have seen her first drafts and they are simply amazing! I’m excited to be a reader this time.
Please have a look and if you like, follow our fairy tale simblr @threehazelnuts.
The Six Ravens
This year, @tyrellsimsoficeandfire is not actively taking part in the Three Hazelnuts Christmas Special, although he’s still supporting the project backstage. I ( @danjaley ) am going to keep up the tradition with an adaptation from Grimms’ Fairy Tales: The Six Ravens. (A mixture of “The Six Swans”, “The Seven Ravens” and “The Twelve Brothers”, which all tell essentially the same story.)
The story will post in December, maybe Advent-Calender style, maybe with another schedule - I haven’t decided yet.
Until the story starts, maybe you’d like to reread one of our earlier fairytales. You can do so from the blog’s homepage.

Goodbye - (for now)💚
Dear simblrs,
it’s been a long time since you last heard from me an I hope you are all doing well. Some of you really sent me kind messages.
💚Good news first: I am great although past months’ situation wasn’t easy for me at first. Actually I thought, I couldn’t finish my Master in History or even worse, that I’d end up unemployed in autumn. I worked a lot in part-time jobs at museums during summer and now I suddenly got a job offer at university. I’m really glad, but that means that academics play a big role now for me.
💚 Which brings me to the sadder part for simblr: I haven’t played TS3 since March and maybe won’t do it for a while. The truth is: I might have lost interest. This might change in the future, but for now I don’t feel like a simmer anymore. I have around 60 sims posts in my drafts and don’t know what to do with them. Should I post them? But they are unfinished drafts for larger projects I once planned. [Many of you’ll understand how my love for Game of Thrones faded, as well]
💚 To my shame I’ve to admit, I became intrigued of TS4 😅 . It’s not as good for storytelling as TS3 but I like build some historical buildings from time to time (thanks to the CC makers Felixandre and TheJim07).
💚 Well, actually, I might need to re-organize the tons of cc I have for TS3. Maybe then the fun I once had will return. Who knows?
I thank you all for the wonderful time we had here together. I will come to visit from time to time and there’s always the possibility of my return next year. I don’t know what @danjaley is planning, but maybe she’ll do our annual Christmas Project on her own this year @threehazelnuts.
Miss you folks.
Tyrell 🌹

My favourite digital restoration for @tyrellsimsoficeandfire
Took many days to make, there being so many details, and I only stopped – though the throne and her face needed more working on them – because by wrist actually started aching :O Still, I’m proud of what I’ve done, and enjoyed doing it so very much!
And this is one of the murals I am trying to find a 2x1 mesh of a poster – (flat to the wall), unframed and taking from floor to ceiling – so that I can release another series of Egyptian murals. Has anyone seen any mesh like this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Val, the Wildling Princess
