10 Great Podcasts
Sickboy: This is a really eye opening podcast that interviews people with different kinds of cancers, diseases, and mental illnesses. It's three funny guys who interview sick people and make you feel like you're just hanging out with some of the bros. These guys are unfiltered, unapologetic, and completely open in how they talk about absolutely everything. The thing I like the most about this podcast is how they constantly make jokes about a typically taboo and dark subject. They have some good episodes where they interview people about PTSD, Depression, Cocaine Addiction, Anorexia & Bulimia and Pedophilia. Somehow they dive deep into understanding how it feels to have a disease while also making the conversation fun and light. Sickboy is educational, somewhat raunchy, and opens a door into understanding people who are different. But be warned: these dudes can get pretty crude at times while trying to make serious topics light-hearted. So if explicit talk deters you, I wouldn't listen to this.Ā
Lore: Lore is a spooky podcast that quickly became a hit. The creator, Aaron Mahnke, researches the absolute crap out of true accounts of horror stories. Here's the description given for the podcast: "Lore exposes the darker side of history, exploring the creatures, people, and places of our wildest nightmares. Because sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction." He's researched every aspect of a scary story like the true horrors that caused people to believe in vampires and werewolves. However, I couldn't get fully into this podcast even though everythimg about it is quality. I think he just presents too much accurate detail and research and I'm to dumb to follow it all. But Aaron's voice, the scripts, and the music score behind every episode are impeccable. Seriously, the music stands out. It's so good! Even though it's not totally my cup of tea, you might really enjoy this show.Ā
The Moth: The Moth is a wonderful live story telling podcast that's been around for a long time. They have shows all over the country where they'll have planned and volunteer story tellers share their experiences in front of live audience. The episode that introduced me to the podcast was a story about a great first date told by none other than freaking Steve from Blues Clues. I recommend listening to the Live From Sydney episode first. The first storyteller delivers the best story I've ever heard told live. Heā€™s a Malaysian Australian slam poet who tries to appreciate his culture through the lens of rap music and in turn shares his culture with the world. Another great one is Ghosts, Angels, and Motorcycle Rides. That motorcycle story is so good it will make you cry. Stories on this podcast can get pretty emotional and will probably make you cry eventually, but in a good way.Ā Ā Ā
Dear Hank and John Green: If you are a Nerdfighter or like Hank and John Green, here you go. This podcast is now like the bread and butter of the Nerdfighteria community. They give dubious advice and talk about death a lot. It gets pretty hilarious at times and can be enjoyed by anyone even if you aren't too familiar with them. OH MY GOD IT'S BURNING is on of their more iconic, stand out episodes, but they're all pretty good.Ā
99% Invisible - This is a great podcast that keeps growing on me more and more with the help of Roman Marsā€™ beautiful golden voice. The Mojave Phone Booth episode is one of my favorite podcasts! It's an interesting podcast about architecture, the invisible, and how people respond to their environments. Breaking The Bank is another fantastic episode about bank robberies. Good stuff!Ā
Science Vs: Honestly, any podcast by Gimlet Media is bound to be of the utmost quality. This heavily researched show that "finds out whatā€™s fact, whatā€™s not, and whatā€™s somewhere in between." You can figure out which episode you'd probably be most interested in by just by looking at the title alone. I thought the episodes on guns were really good.Ā Ā Ā
Hidden Brain - This podcast explores the human brain and tries to find out why people do what they do. Every episode is interesting, but some of their episodes have quite captivating stories that explain human behavior. Episode 7 is an incredible example of a captivating story telling episode! It's a story about a jerk who ran a business impersonating women who wrote romantic letters to lonely guys. He lies to hundreds of men and gets all these guys to send him money when they think theyā€™re helping out a women with buying postage and groceries. Another amazing episode is Episode 42: Decide Already!.Ā
The Liturgists: This one is only if you're interested in religion, Christianity, and the influence those beliefs have on art and vice versa. These two guys have pretty odd interesting beliefs, but Science Mike is one of the smartest dudes I've ever listened to and Michael Gungor is pretty captivating and he is also a fantastic musician who makes meaningful art that I like. My favorite episode of theirs was probably Black and White: Racism in America which is the best comprehensive thorough discussion about race that I have ever heard. Another good couple of episodes are Lost and Found Parts 1 & 2, where they tell the stories of how they lost their faith but found God again. I remember crying a little bit towards the end of Science Mike's story. I just happened to stop listening to them because some of their stuff is a little too out there for me and none of their episodes could top their episode on racism in my opinion.Ā
Heavyweight - This, I would say is the best podcast I have ever listened to. The first episode is like my all time favorite episode of any podcast. It's just an incredibly well told story by Jonathan Goldstein, the master story teller and creator of the podcast. It describes brothers Buzz and Sheldon are brothers in their eighties and have been estranged for decades. Buzz visits Sheldon to see if thereā€™s still a relationship left to salvage. That episode, like all the other episodes, is one of those stories that makes you feel like you're experiencing the story unfold alongside the story teller who is still trying to discover the answers. Heavyweight delves into the past to pinpoint the exact moment in someone's life that made things the way they are. This show is so good that I will be mad at you if you don't listen to the first episode.Ā
Welcome to Night Vale: I feel like I shouldn't have to describe this cult classic because you probably already know about or at least have unknowingly heard references to it. Bassically it's a local news radio show for a desert town of Night Vale. But Night Vale is a place where like every ridiculous conspiracy theory and Twilight Zone-esque story is actually the truth. It is one hilariously well written podcast that is hosted by Cecil whose golden voice is some kind of hybrid of the voice of God and. The sound of Kenny G's sweet clarinet. It's dark. It's clever. And it's definitely different. Everyone should listen to at least the first episode or so. It took me a few episodes to really love it. The beginning episodes are good, but they have developed quality wise into something a lot better.

Went to a wedding in St Louis recently and as I was about to leave the city I see another bridal party having a great time! I happened to have my camera on me so I moseyed on over and started talking to the girl in this picture because she was off to the side and not apart of the bridal party photo session. One of the first things I said to her was "there's no way that guy [the one in the picture] is not in a band, right?" She just looked at me and laughed while saying, "That is actually my husband and he was totally in a band." I then asked them if they wanted any pictures of the two of them, and the rest is history šŸ˜Š (at St. Louis)

Top 10 Podcasts
The Mystery Show: This is kind of my favorite podcast of all time. Whenever someone asks for podcast suggestions, I will always suggest The Mystery Show. I literally have zero doubts that you will love this podcast, so just listen to it! Every episode the host, Starlee Kine is presented with a difficult mystery that someone else has never been able to figure out. The show takes you through an incredible journey seemingly impossible mystery solving. The best episode in my opinion is The Belt Buckle episode, but I'd recommend listening to the podcast from Episode 1. They're all fantastic!Ā
Beautiful Anonymous: Beautiful Anonymous undoubtedly has the my favorite premise for a podcast ever. Their premise is this: "1 phone call. 1 hour. No names. No holds barredā€ which is to say it is phenomenally deep conversations with real people. Comedian and anxiety/depression riddled Chris Gethard takes phone calls from anonymous people and he is not able to hang up. After one hour, the line is automatically cut off and the conversation is over. Basically, Chris gets people calling in, who have incredibly unique or tragic experiences, and they usually end up telling the most exciting parts of their life story. Even the seemingly uninteresting people are still super intriguing to hear from because everyone they all ends up talking about the deepest most personal parts of their lives because Chris is so good at getting anonymous strangers to open up. If I were to describe this podcast in one word, it would be "human." Which is to say, this podcast will make you feel less alone. feel great amounts of empathy, and just feel when you think you are incapable of feeling. It's hard to choose the best episodes but one funny one that stands out is about an eccentric father who writes several hundred songs every year that have very niche titles so he can make money from people searching specific things and playing his songs on Spotify.Ā
Reply All: Here is one of my favorite podcasts! Pretty sure I've listened to every episode. Every episode is pretty much always great. I suggest listening to the Boy In The Photo episode first if you havenā€™t listened to the show. Itā€™s so good! I think my favorite one is Today is the Day though. Itā€™s a unique episode because they literally go on a type of field trip and explore New York City doing slightly illegal things. And they may or may not come into contact with some goats haha! Another interesting and unconventional episode is Shine on You Crazy Goldman where they experiment with taking LSD before work every day without telling their coworkers. Whenever there's a new Reply All episode, I usually listen to before all the other podcasts I listen to. It's kind of impossible not to like this show.Ā
Song Exploder - Song Exploder is a fascinating show! Itā€™s a dope, short podcast that interviews artists and has them break apart an entire song and how they made it. Artists will explain pretty much every aspect of the creation process of a specific song. Itā€™s so cool to hear about! And then at the end of each episode the song thatā€™s being exploded is played in its entirety. I suggest you just scroll through some of the episodes and listen to the oneā€™s that feature artists you like. But every episode is interesting in itā€™s own way. Most of my favorite episodes are actually of artists I donā€™t even follow. I enjoyed Break Master Cylinder who uses ridiculously cool samples, Weezer whose lead singer has an interesting songwriting technique, tune-yards who explains the theory behind her song so well, and The Lumineers who search out some good places to stomp on for the song Ophelia haha! This is just an amazing podcast that any music lover will definitely get into.Ā
This American Life: This podcast is just one of the greatest story telling podcasts out there. If you are a podcast listener, you listen to This American Life. Every episode is good and there are a lot of phenomenal episodes. My favorite episode is 470: Show Me The Way. It's about a 15-year-old boy who travels more than 1,000 miles, alone, to seek out his hero, whom he's never met. Just one of the all time best podcast stories. You kind of have to listen to This American Life if you want to get into podcasts because itā€™s just that good.Ā
Radiolab: This is another one of those all time great podcasts that is always super well made like This American Life. There are so many absolutely amazing episodes that have been produced by Radiolab. One of the best episodes is Eye in the Sky which is about a small plane with a 44 megapixel camera that can watch over an entire city all at once to help keep it safe. And Colors is just a phonomenal episode thatā€™s so interesting and well done. Definitely listen to this podcast! I don't think Iā€™ve ever missed a Radiolab episode in the past few years.
Don't Feed the Trolls - I love the guys on this podcast! It's two dudes who were lead singers of punk rock bands in the early 2000s talking about how they overcome their inner and outer trolls the hard working DIY punk rock kind of way. They just have so many great conversations with people who are vastly interesting and insightful. One of my favorite episodes was "Episode 25: Grief and Loss" with the musician Tyson Motsenbocker (who's an incredible dude that I've gotten to talk to...Name drop!) He lost his mom to cancer and talks about how he dealt with his grief. He wrote an entire album about his mom, which is amazing by the way, and he wrote most of it while walking from San Diego all the way to San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge (two dope places which I've been to...Place Drop!) Another powerful episode was Episode 22 with a man who's a prison minister and author with some incredible stories about the impact of kindness. Episode 7: Impostor Syndrome and Episode 10: The Inner Troll are also a very well done shows that really conveys the heartbeats of these guys and the soul of this podcast. Also, I swear I'm not just bias towards this podcast because I was on it rambling about Patreon one time (Patreon: bonus episode...Fame Drop!). Absolutely, listen to this podcast; it's one of my favorites! And shout out to the episodes with Matt Thiessen of Relient K and that who runs a lawnmower gang in Detroit, but runs a side business that sells sex toys haha! My Brother My Brother and Me: This is the funniest comedy podcast from three brothers who also have just the greatest sounding voices. They answer questions and It's absolutely hilarious! Literally hearing them all talking about anything can make you smile. You should start by listening to their highlights episodes that take all the best bits from a bunch of their different episodes. Or if you want a to listen to a typical sounding episode, I just laughed a bunch at Episode #330. These are some of the funniest most clever guys in the podcast world. The brothers also have a Dungeons and Dragons podcast that I hear is really great called, The Adventure Zone if you're feeling the need for some nerdy comedy.Ā
Ear Biscuits: I love this podcast from Rhett and Link. I've listened to every single episode and it is so cool to hear life stories from so many different YouTubers. The best way to describe this podcast is to say that it's like an extended edition of a Draw My Life video. Rhett and Link also act as a therapist almost in some of these episodes. They have a way of digging deep and getting very personal without prying to much. The good thing about this podcast is that you can pick and choose which episode you want to listen to by looking at who they're interviewing. But honestly, the episodes of people I don't really care for were just as interesting as most of the others. A couple of their best episodes in my opinion are with Shat Carl and also the episode with Mystery Guitar Man who was living in his car when trying to make it as a filmmaker. Their episodes with Smosh and Corridor Digital also stand out because Rhett and Link are pricking the minds of other creatives who work mostly as duos like themselves. They also have some episodes with just the two of them which can honestly be some of their best shows.Ā Ā Ā
Criminal: This podcast is about stories of crime. It can be dark at times due to the nature of it. But just like we can't look away from car crashes, we as humans seem to be enthralled by stories about crime. The show has so many incredible stories of people whoā€™ve "done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in the middle" as the tag line of the show states. If you find yourself getting into crime shows on TV or true criminal stories, then Criminal is perfect for you! My favorite episode was Ex Libris, which is about a thief who stole hundreds of thousands of dollarsā€™ worth of rare books but wasn't motivated at all by the money. Episode 35 is another good story from a different kind of perspective. It's about a courtroom sketch artist in Chicago. I will give more podcast suggestions in the future, but these are 10 of my favorites! I left out 40 of my other favorites haha! Let me know your favorite podcasts! I would love to hear them!

I always try to make people laugh when I'm taking pictures of them. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. But I think it looks really great when you can capture the moment of someone genuine smiling in mid-laughter. I want to capture that moment more than anything because I think it is something so important, even though it might seem like just a small part of life. Psalm 126:1-2 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion We were like those who dream Our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tounges with shouts of joy... Then verses 5-6 say this: Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying the bag of seed, He will surely come back with shouts of joy, carrying his sheaves. Laughter & Joy are very important. A small little laugh can mean the world to someone whether it's a small stupid moment or superficial sounding extended laughter. Most laughter is good laughter because it fills the soul with joy...that's biblical, my friends. That's also just life, so you don't have to believe in God or the Bible to agree with me šŸ˜Š That being said, this is by far my favorite shot I have of Nicole from out Senior photos session. It was a rainy and cloudy day. But we made the best of it and continued laughing all throughout the day šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚

I was watching the @nasa rocket launch today thinking about how we are pretty distant from like absolutely everything in the known universe. That's a pretty rad humbling thought, right? I think it's good to know that even though we are a "long way off" we have personal relationships here on earth that matter so much on a micro scale. The micro scale, which we love and live in, can be much more dope and meaningful than the macro scale of the entire universe...and that is pretty freaking cool to think about, at least to me. Invocation - 4/29/17 This is an invocation for the beginning of this journal...Iā€™ve never been much of a journaler. I tried in SF this past summer via journal app, and that was pretty helpful. But now Iā€™m actually going to start. I turned 21 recently and instead of going out drinking withĀ ā€œThe Guysā€ whoever that might consist of, Iā€™ve been establishing life lasting relationships with friends, acquaintances, and strangers. Relationships are what this life is all about. Tonight, I am celebrating my 21st belated birthday. But right now I am sitting at a cafe with a book in my hand, a journal in my lap, and Psalms 22-24 open on my laptop, HCSB & ESV versions of course. Maybe I should open Logos on top of all of this chaos haha!
Right now Iā€™m listening toĀ ā€œTis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus.ā€ Itā€™s simple both lyrically and melodically, but man does it pack a punch!...Thatā€™s what I want my life to be like: Small, short, and simple yet it packs one heck of a punch :) This was an Invocation.

On my 21st birthday, instead of going out drinking with "the guys," I had a nice steak dinner at home on the backyard patio with my parents. After dinner, I went and holed myself up in my room to research how to start a 501c3 charity...That is the kind of life that I am wanting to live right now. Though I felt stuck in Indiana while working on projects that wouldnā€™t benefit me monetarily, I did see the benefits of being in Indy for a while.
Anyways, around 9pm on my birthday, I had planned to Skype my Patreon buds/coworkers Jessica Crabb and Jordan Cope. But when I was Skyped in a few minutes late, Jessica had my whole Patreon family in San Francisco sing happy birthday to me, which was quite the uplifting encouragement haha!It was incredibly refreshing to see many familiar faces, and talk to some good oleā€™ pals! Can't wait to see what's in store for me during my 21st year of life.
I was planning on traveling the country working part time as an independent contractor for several different companies, but now I'm feeling led to travel internationally to places like the Dominican Republic, Haiti, China, Japan, India, Ireland, Brazil, etc... We'll see if that actually happens haha! But with a lot of help and a lot of hospitality from others, I think I can definitely make it happen, for sure!
I have so many opportunities at hand only because I've been willing to ask people questions. I'm only asking people questions because I just want to know the answers to everything haha! Iā€™m so freaking curious, my friends! So if there's one take-away from this post itā€™s this: Ask people questions...just do it. Jesus did it and he is assumed to be omniscient by like all Christians, which is a lot of freaking people! So maybe you should at least consider asking a few individuals a lot of questions, even if you don't feel like it.
I want you to ask questions because you may get some dope friends like Jessica who befriended me because I was curious and willing to ask the hard questions, as well as the easy ones. You can't expect to find any answers if you don't ask any questions. You canā€™t expect to find friends, if you are not searching for any.

One of my best friends @mitchelltanis designed a logo for me in less than 20 minutes. As soon as he showed it to me, I told him, ā€œThat is the coolest thing that I have ever seen you design. I want it. Can I have it? Actually, no. Iā€™m taking that design and using it as a logo. That is mine now haha!ā€
Mitch replied with laughter and just said, ā€œSure, man. Whatever you want. I just through it together in a few minutes. Why are all my best designs things that I barely try on!ā€ So I claimed this design as my own and played around a bunch with different textures then changed the font to make it what I like. But Mitch was the real creator of this beautiful, triangular design that I adore so much. I freaking love triangles, always have. I swear that when I used to play with those plastic shapes that kids put into those boxes with different shaped holes, that I would only try to fit the triangle shape, technically pyramid shapes, into every single hole even though it wouldnā€™t work. And I didnā€™t care that it didnā€™t work because I just loved playing with triangles...Oh, and I just completely made up that story to emotionally connect this design of my logo to my past...but I imagine that the story could possibly be true haha!Ā
I just love triangles and I canā€™t properly explain why. They just look so frigginā€™ cool, man! I used to always draw triangles on my arms, wrists, legs, or ankles during high school when I got bored. Whenever someone asks me if Iā€™d ever get a tattoo, I would always tell them that if I ever got one, it would just be a 1.5-inch equilateral triangle right on the inside of my right forearm or perhaps just underneath my wrist.Ā
When people find out about my possible tattoo plans and my affinity for triangles, they naturally ask, ā€œWhy would you want to get a tattoo of a triangle?ā€ Then Iā€™ll yell at them and say,Ā ā€œBecause of so many freaking reasons!ā€Ā
First of all, they look cool. I think weā€™ve covered that. Theyā€™re also the strongest shape in architectureĀ because any added force is evenly spread through all three sides. Isnā€™t that cool! I learned that while working on a stage crew building sets!Ā
They also look complete and remind me of the infinite or eternity. Thereā€™s something galactic about them too! You always see triangular designs incorporated into like space and nebula and galaxies. And who doesnā€™t love space! But I guess triangles are also used a lot in designs for the Illuminati, but we donā€™t have to mention that (no one can talk about the Illuminati; itā€™s like fight club).
But I think I like triangles mostly because they remind me of the Trinity. Yeah, I know, the Trinity, a cop-out Christian answer. But itā€™s true! I think itā€™s a nice little representation of the three equal persons of God. Though to be accurate there should be a few more lines pointing in different directions between the three points, but who cares about that!
Those are also the same reasonā€™s why I really love Mitchā€™s design. Itā€™s mostly just a triangle. But I like to look at this specific triangle as a mountain. You can see that this mountain has several paths that one could take to get around it: thereā€™s six straight paths of varying lengths, and one crooked path that is bigger than all the others. To me, those straight paths are like shortcuts that people will try to take to get around the mountain the fastest. But in reality, the crooked path that looks longer will actually be the easier path to take because itā€™s clearly designated as the primary path, which you know is safe and sure.Ā
I donā€™t care what Robert Frost says. The path less taken might not always be the right path to take. Sometimes you have to stick with what you know to be true in your heart and keep with it even though other methods may look faster and easier. This logo is a reminder to stick to the path thatā€™s tried and true, which you know is the best way to reach your destination...even though your short-term focused mind might try to fight against you and yell at you to make a shortcut.
Sometimes the road less traveled is the most fun and enjoyable way to go. I, myself will almost always take the road less traveled whenever Iā€™m hiking or walking through trail. Itā€™s just what you do because Robert Frost got popular saying it and so everyone repeats it. Taking the road less traveled just means your being a part of the system, man. So actually, youā€™re kind of being more of a cool rebel fighting against the establishment and ā€œthe manā€ when you take the road more traveled! Thatā€™s not particularly true, but fun to think about nonetheless.Ā
I just want to make sure that I am focused on my goal in life. Because if I am not focused on a goal or destination, I will get distracted and try to take shortcuts, that ultimately wonā€™t help me in the long run.
Thatā€™s how I gave meaning to my friendā€™s haphazardly designed logo. And hey, I just might get a tattoo of it. Because a tattoo should be a symbol that has meaning; an invocation to do better; something that reminds you of whatā€™s really important which causes you to better your character. Itā€™s not something you should get on a drunken dare. So if I ever get a tattoo, you better believe it will be a meaningful, dope-ass triangle!

I decided to make a short film for the Here There Art Assignment. The assignment is originally meant for people to film inside their neighbors' houses and piece together footage with other houses to create kind of a tunnel between spaces that doesn't physically exist, but appears to in video form. I took that concept and changed it so that I was connecting the spaces of digital neighbors. This short film is a representation of the connections we make with people through the Internet. It proves that the connections we make with people online are just as real as the spaces we live in and the thoughts we have.Ā
In the videoā€™s description, are links to all of my very talented friends who helped make this short film.

I don't really put my age up on social media because I have seen too many people get judged and written off for their age (young and old). I don't want my age to be a factor in how someone values my content. But I also donā€™t want to be afraid of my age because it is a part of me and I try to be confident in who I am.

Podcasts
I've been having a lot of conversations with people about podcasts lately. And Iā€™ve been asked fairly frequently for my podcast suggestions, so I figured I would make a list of some of them here.
Ear Biscuits: This is probably the most intriguing podcast for anybody who's into YouTube. It gets the life stories and perspectives of content creators with all the fun banter that comes with rhettandlinkā€‹.Ā
Hello Internet: This one is with educational YouTubers CPG Grey and Brady Haran. It's super intelligent and interesting to listen to. Sometimes they'll go off on like 30 minute segments about flag designs or optimizing efficiency in a really specific area. Listen to it if you want to feel involved in a smart conversation, but don't want to actually talk.
Cortex: An offshoot of Hello Internet that's solely focused on what makes CPG Grey with his robot-like features so efficient. Very interesting and helpful.
TourCast: Tessa Violet and Rusty Clanton just started a podcast documenting their tour and answering people's questions. It's fun and enjoyable. I'd give it a nice review if it was a restaurant on Yelp.
Dear Hank and John: Hank and John Green's podcast. Has the vibe of the good old days of YouTube. It's always good to see their insights into things. Plus they give news about Mars and the fan funded football club that is AFC Wimbledon.
FOFFcast: This is probably the funniest comedy podcast I've ever listened to. It's like hanging out with friends that are way funnier than the friends you usually hang out with. They don't podcast as much anymore, but if you want to laugh at hysterical people who are fantastic at doing bits and riffing off of soundboards then listen to it. An instant pick me up. (Listen to an episode with special guest, Gator)
Welcome to Our Podcast: Mike Falzone and his lady, Zoja's, podcast. Listen for smiles.
Lore: Educational podcast about the how certain lore, such as vampires came to be. Incredibly well done in a storytelling format. Real eerie and fascinating with a dash of creepy.
StoryCorps: A non-for-profit charity that collects recordings of incredible stories as little time capsules then releases some of them as podcasts. Learn from people's experiences while being transported into their stories. Really captivating and pretty short.
Welcome to Night Vale: Twilight Zone but podcast. It's a fictional radio show for the town of Night Vale where every conspiracy theory and myth is actually true. Just try it. It's incredibly creepy, unique, and you might end up really digging it. It's a classic.
TedTalks (audio): Educational presentations done by incredible people. It's really easy to search for specific talks you think you'll find interesting. Press play to expand your brain.
Intelligence Squared: Debates on big topic issues between several of extremely qualified individuals from both sides of the argument. These are live recorded debates in front of huge audiences. Really helpful in developing your own opinions on certain issues.
This American Life: The classic NPR podcast with insights into interesting people and things. Kind of like 60 minutes but a podcast.
Nefarious Fauxpod: This is one of my all time favorite podcasts. It's super funny and just an all around good time. It ended some years ago, but I still go back and listen to it every once in a while to enjoy a nice reading of a horrible fanfiction and listen to hilariously depressing stories. It's with old school YouTubers: Nanalew, YourAverageAdam, ThatZak, and Jake Sidwell. This podcast is pure nostalgia for me, so I have a pretty big bias with this one.
These are just the podcasts that I enjoy and recommend the most. Let me know what you think if you end up listening to them. And feel free to give me any podcast suggestions that you might have. I kind of really like podcasts :)
