Prompt: various members of the Justice League keep coming across these hidden pockets of crises whenever they go off the main roads. After the 3rd time where batman/superman/flash/whoever finds a town in peril being barely held back by a kid barely past puberty, they've had enough. They start going over the globe with a fine toothed comb to try and find anything else being hidden. It honestly surprises everyone just what they find in random corners.
X over with whatever fandoms you want, and the justice league getting progressively more exasperated.
This can be stretched and twisted in so many ways. Blue Excorsist? The Vatican had been hiding thier military might for some time now. Batman is displeased. Especially with Constantine.
Appearently there are also many versions of Satan out there and no one will explain-
Danny Phantom? Are the Ghost Investigation Ward even part of the government or are they exclusively working under thier main benefactor, the mysterious mayor no one remembers voting for: Vladimir Masters
Final Fantasy 7? Thier planet, Gaia , can just exist in another star system and have been hidden thanks to the lifestream, but the lifestream is dying and its people require an emergency evacuation
