Small Update:
- going through my inbox today to narrow down what requests i have and which i want to do before potentially re-opening request slots
- revamping the banners i use for characters + dorms since we now have all dorm uniform cards
- considering adding event-specific banners for characters that have event cards, not sure if i'm doing this yet but it's a possibility
- putting out requests for specific types of requests, i guess?? like if i want to get some soulmate au requests specifically i'll ask people to send those, that kind of stuff. these wouldn't be the only requests i accept, but it'd definitely help me get back into enjoying writing more
- working on a new icon since i've had this one for a while :) also December got a visual update + redesign 💕
thanks for hanging around, dorm mates 💖 i'll do my best to provide more content soon!!

Hi! misc stands for miscellaneous :) any characters that are not part of a specific dorm, like Neige, would be under that category!

happy pride 🌈
here are some pride headcanons :)
i included everyone because i had ideas for everyone!
i actually included all of my identities here as well in one or more characters B)
Disclaimer: these are my personal headcanons. i will not argue with people about them. i'm not implying they are canon and while they inform how i write about certain characters, i will not try and tell someone they're 'wrong' for disagreeing with me.

MMM: (S) Care of Magical Creatures
Tumblr media
"I think I have Care of Magical Creatures." They said, showing the timetable with the abbreviation to the table. December grined widely and fist pumoed happily, narrowly missing Cater's cheek.
"Me too! I love animals so much!" They said, cheering a bit. The prefect smiled and gave them a thumbs up before turning back to their breakfast. Jade and Jmail mentioned that they were also taking CoMC, making the prefect smile wider. The other Slytherins kept eating and chatting, preparing for the upcoming class. They glanced at Vil, who had mentioned his Ancient Runes class which earned some teasing from Lilia for being 'a nerd'. Vil rolled his eyes before ignoring him. The prefect smiled at their newfound friends, hopeful for their future in the house of the vipers.
The group headed down to the forest edge, where Professor Serephim was waiting for them. She smiled and introduced herself, telling the students to sit in groups and wait for the rest of their class. The prefect smiled as they say with their fellow Slytherins, joined shortly by their housemates' other friends as some Ravenclaws reached the groups.
"Rubio." A Ravenclaw prefect said, sitting down next to December who glared at him before schooling their expression into a bright smile.
"Rosehearts, good to see you survived the summer with Ace." They teased, causing the Slytherin prefect to snort in laughter a bit. The Ravenclaw glanced at them and then back to December.
"It...sucked." He mumbled before straightening his back, his eyes glancing at a new student nearing the slightly large group. She was fairly tall, with long hair and a pretty face, her eyes scanning over the group. She sat down between December and Jade, smilling at the rest of the group.
"Room for one more?" The student asked. December nodded and grinned back, immediately launching into an inquisition about her summer. The two students chatted eagerly, other members of the group eventually joining in. The prefect glancing around at the new students they hadn't met yet, unable to catch anyone's names yet. The professor clapped to call everyone to attention, splitting everyone into groups to meet some of the creatures they'd be working with that semester. Everyone eagerly gathered into groups, cooing over and petting the animals.
"So, now that you've all met the creatures, I have a surprise for you all! I am giving you a month long project. It will be with a partner, and you will be writing a report on your chosen creature! Multiple groups can do the same creature, but you will still be in pairs." She explained, lining the creatures up. The prefect smiled and looked over all the creatures, trying to decide which to pick.
"I think I'm gonna work with the Diriclaw!" December said. Jade nodded in agreement, looking at the bird-like creature again. Jamil expressed his interest in the Knarl, a small hedgehog-like creature. Riddle agreed with him, smacking December's head with parchment when the brunette teased him. Alice mentioned wanting to work with the Glow Bug. The prefect considered their options for a moment before deciding on their creature and partner, heading to...
[what creature and which student do you want to work with?]
...the Diriclaw with Jade.
...the Knarl with Jamil.
...the Knarl with Riddle.

MMM: ( R ) Care of Magical Creatures
Tumblr media
"I think I have Care of Magical Creatures." They said, showing the timetable with the abbreviation to the table. Malleus nodded and Riddle smiled slightly, showing his timetable as well.
"Me too." He said. They smiled and gave him a smile back before turning back to their breakfast. They tried to remember if their other friends were taking CoMC again but couldn't remember. The other Ravenclaws kept eating and chatting, preparing for the upcoming class. They glanced at Leona, who had mentioned his Ancient Runes class which earned some surprised looks. Leona rolled his eyes before explaining he enjoyed runes and was quite good at them. The prefect smiled at their newfound friends, hopeful for their future in the house of the eagles.
The duo headed down to the forest edge, where Professor Serephim was waiting for them. She smiled and introduced herself, telling the students to sit in groups and wait for the rest of their class. The prefect smiled as they say with their fellow Ravenclaw, watching as another Ravenclaw joined them, a tall girl with a pretty face and a kind smile.
"Alice." Riddle said, the girl sitting down down next to him and smiling politely at the prefect.
"Rosehearts, good to see you survived the summer with Ace." She teased, causing the other Ravenclaw prefect to snort in laughter a bit. Riddle glanced at them and then back to Alice.
"It...sucked." He mumbled before straightening his back, his eyes glancing at three new students nearing the slightly large group. All three were wearing the trademark green and silver uniform of Slytherin. One was freakily tall, with teal hair and a single black streak through it. He looked weirdly similar to one of the older Gryffindors, one that Ace and Deuce had pointed out to the prefect on the train. The second student was a bit shorter, but still seemed kind of tall, his long black hair half braided and pulled back behind his head, his sharp eyes calculating. The student in between them was grinning and looking around excitedly, their two-toned ponytail bobbing as they waved to the professor. They definitely didn't fit in with the other two Slytherins, but it didn't seem to matter to them, or to the students the prefect was sitting with.
"Room for three more?" The middle student asked, grinning. Riddle and Alice both nodded and smiled back, Alice immediately launching into an inquisition about their summer. The two students chatted eagerly, Riddle eventually joining in. The odd Slytherin didn't seem too pleased about his participation, but Riddle either didn't notice or didn't care. The prefect glancing around at the new students they hadn't met yet, unable to catch anyone's names yet. The professor clapped to call everyone to attention, splitting everyone into groups to meet some of the creatures they'd be working with that semester. MMM: (H) Care of Magical Creatures
Tumblr media
"I think I have Care of Magical Creatures." They said, showing the timetable with the abbreviation to the table. Sebek grinned, as did one of the younger students they'd yet to meet.
"Me too! I love all the cool creatures." The small student said, grinning at the prefect. They smiled and gave him a wave back before turning back to their breakfast. He introduced himself as Ortho Shroud, a third year excited to finally get to do some elective courses. Ruggie mentioned that he was also taking CoMC, making the prefect smile wider. The other Hufflepuffs kept eating and chatting, preparing for the upcoming class. They glanced at Silver, who had mentioned his Arithmancy class which earned some teasing from Sebek. Silver rolled his eyes before tossing an orange at Sebek who dodged it and mocked Silver. The prefect smiled at their newfound friends, hopeful for their future in the house of the badgers.
The group headed down to the forest edge, where Professor Serephim was waiting for them. She smiled and introduced herself, telling the students to sit in groups and wait for the rest of their class. The prefect smiled as they say with their fellow Hufflepuffs, joined shortly by their other friends as some Gryffindors reached the groups.
"Ruggie! Didn't see you all summer!" Ace said, tossing an extra quill at the upperclassman. The Hufflepuff rolled his eyes and snatched up the quill.
"None of your business." He said, grinning at the ginger. Before Ace could retort, the professor clapped to call everyone to attention, splitting everyone into groups to meet some of the creatures they'd be working with that semester. Everyone eagerly gathered into groups, cooing over and petting the animals.
"So, now that you've all met the creatures, I have a surprise for you all! I am giving you a month long project. It will be with a partner, and you will be writing a report on your chosen creature! The prefect smiled and looked over all the creatures, trying to decide which to pick.
Ace and Deuce both wanted to work with the Fire Crab, while Jack and Ruggie seemed to be vying for the Hippogriff. Sebek seemed interested in the Glow Bug. The prefect was surprised to see so few students looking at the Bowtrickle, only Ortho walking over to the green creature. The prefect considered their options for a moment before deciding on their creature and partner, heading to...

MMM: (G) Care of Magical Creatures
Tumblr media
"I think I have Care of Magical Creatures." They said, showing the timetable with the abbreviation to the table. Ace and Deuce grinned, with Jack nodding happily.
"Us too! Cool." Deuce said, grinning and giving the prefect a thumbs up. They smiled and gave him a thumbs up back before turning back to their breakfast. The other Gryffindors kept eating and chatting, preparing for the upcoming class. Jack seemed the most excited for it, though it was a bit hard to tell. They glanced at Epel, who had mentioned his Divination class which earned some teasing from Ace. The prefect smiled at their newfound friends, hopeful for their future in the house of the lions.
The group headed down to the forest edge, where Professor Serephim was waiting for them. She smiled and introduced herself, telling the students to sit in groups and wait for the rest of their class. The prefect smiled as they say with their fellow Gryffindors, joined shortly by Sebek as some Hufflepuffs reached the groups. Another Hufflepuff joined the group, grinning predatorily at the younger students.
"Ruggie! Didn't see you all summer!" Ace said, tossing an extra quill at the newcomer. The Hufflepuff, Ruggie, rolles his eyes and snatched up the quill.
"None of your business." He said, grinning at the ginger. Before Ace could retort, another student plopped down nearby. Ace paled and scooted away from the shorter student with bright red hair, who was glaring at the Gryffindor.
"You better be behaving. I won't hesitate to take off points." the Ravenclaw said. Ace groaned and rolled his eyes, sticking his tongue out.
"Calm down Rosehearts, we're just having fun. That's not against the rules, as much as you wish it was." He retorted, causing the Gryffindor prefect to snort in laughter a bit. The Ravenclaw glanced at them and then back to Ace.
"Whatever." He mummbled before straightening his back, his eyes glancing at three new students nearing the slightly large group. All three were wearing the trademark green and silver uniform of Slytherin. One was freakily tall, with teal hair and a single black streak through it. He looked weirdly similar to Floyd, reminding the prefect that Floyd had mentioned a twin. Jack and Ruggie seemed to be more alert, glancing at the trio of vipers as they approached.
"Room for three more?" The middle student asked, grinning. Ace nodded and grinned back, immediately launching into an inquisition about their summer. The two students chatted eagerly, other members of the group eventually joining in. The prefect glancing around at the new students they hadn't met yet, unable to catch anyone's names yet. MMM: (S) Arithmancy
Tumblr media
"Arithmancy." They said, smiling as their housemates nodded eagerly. They were surprised to see December grin since they didn't seem the type to enjoy math.
"Cool! You and Azul will be in the same class then." They said cheerfully, the student in question glancing up and nodding to the prefect. He offered them his organized notes on the first three chapters, letting them make a duplicate of them. They slid it into their bag, thanking the other Slytherin. The prefect finished their breakfast and grabbed their bag, glancing over their timetable again to ensure they knew the classroom. Azul stood with them, gathing his own notes and bag after finishing his small breakfast.
Arriving at the small Arithmancy classroom, the prefect glanced around nervously. There were two or three Ravenclaws in the front, but that appeared to be it. Choosing to sit in the back row, they set their stuff down quietly before organizing their note papers. The professor was notoriously skilled, having made multiple breakthroughs in the last decade or two, so the prefect was understandably nervous. Azul sat in the row in front of the prefect, glancing at them and nodding to them. He pulled out a completed sheet of notes on the first few chapters of the textbook, the same he'd let them copy earlier.
Other students eventually filed in; most were Ravenclaws, including one tall Ravenclaw with jet black hair and an intimidating set of green eyes. He seemed to notice their eyes on him as he looked for a seat, meeting their stare. The prefect smiled nervously and waved at him a bit, which seemed to make him comfortable sitting in the same row as them. A Hufflepuff with white hair entered shortly afterwards, heading immediately to sit next to the Ravenclaw. Maybe that was Sebek's brother? They could remember Sebek saying his brother was in this Arithmancy course.
Right before the class was supposed to start, a final student stumbled into the classroom, his long blue hair tied behind him as his wide eyes scanned around for a free seat in the back. He immediately sat down in the same back row as the other three students already there, just at the opposite end. The professor entered and immediately started writing equations on the board, discussing the concepts of spell creation and how to apply theory to practice.
After a very long lecture, the professor revealed that students would be required to pick a homework partner who would check over their work. The students groaned and quickly shuffled around to look for a partner. Glancing around, the prefect felt nerves run through them, knowing only one person in the class. Deciding to ask their fellow Slytherin or one of the people that they'd at least made eye contact with, they headed to their first choice...
[who do you partner with?]
...the loner Ravenclaw.
...the kind of scary Ravenclaw.
...Sebek's older Hufflepuff brother.
...your put-together Slytherin housemate.

Tumblr media
"Arithmancy." They said, smiling as their housemates nodded eagerly. It made sense that others in the house centered around intelligence were appreciative of their love for the math-based subject.
"Excellent! Malleus and Shroud can help you around, then!" Rook said cheerfully, gesturing to the still kind of intimidating upperclassman. Malleus nodded and glanced around for Idia, who was long gone. He shrugged and went back to eating his breakfast, the rest of the students doing the same. The prefect finished their breakfast and grabbed their bag, glancing over their timetable again to ensure they knew the classroom. Malleus stood with them, offering to show them to the classroom and holding his arm out for them in a 'gentlemanly' manner.
Arriving at the small Arithmancy classroom, the prefect glanced around nervously. There were two or three other Ravenclaws in the front, but that appeared to be it. Choosing to sit in the back row, they set their stuff down quietly before organizing their note papers. The professor was notoriously skilled, having made multiple breakthroughs in the last decade or two, so the prefect was understandably nervous. Malleus sat in the same row, right next to the prefect.
Other students eventually filed in; most were Ravenclaws, but Idia didn't seem to have shown up justyet. A Hufflepuff with white hair entered shortly afterwards, heading immediately to sit next to Malleus. he glanced at the prefect and nodded to them, smiling slightly. The prefect remembered Sebek mentioning his brother was in Arithmancy. Maybe that was him? Shortly afterward, a sophisticated looking Slytherin sat in the row in front of the prefect, glancing at them and nodding to them in recognition. He seemed organized, pulling out a completed sheet of notes on the first few chapters of the textbook.
Right before the class was supposed to start, a final student stumbled into the classroom, his long blue hair tied behind him as his wide eyes scanned around for a free seat in the back. The prefect recognized him immediately, smiling at Idia and waving subtly. Idia smiled nervously back, and immediately sat down in the same back row as the other three students already there, just at the opposite end. The professor entered and immediately started writing equations on the board, discussing the concepts of spell creation and how to apply theory to practice.
After a very long lecture, the professor revealed that students would be required to pick a homework partner who would check over their work. The students groaned and quickly shuffled around to look for a partner. Glancing around, the prefect felt nerves run through them, knowing only two people in the class. "Arithmancy." They said, Silver nodding in approval and grinning at them while Sebek huffed in annoyance.
"Well, good luck with Silver I guess." He said. The prefect smiled at him in thanks, nervously picking at their food. They hadn't wanted to seem too eager about such a nerdy class, but they genuinely enjoyed it.
"Don't worry, it's a small class but it's fun." Silver reassured them, picking at his own breakfast. Sebek grumbled slightly about someone named Malleus being in the class. The prefect couldn't be sure if that was a positive or a negative, so they decided not to ask. The prefect finished their breakfast and grabbed their bag, glancing over their timetable again to ensure they knew the classroom. Silver also stood, offering to guide them to the classroom.

"Arithmancy. I like the math!" They said, already protesting when Epel and Ace started to boo. Jack rolled his eyes and smacked the both of them on the back of the head.
"Just because you two aren't smart enough for it doesn't mean it's bad." He said, sitting back down. The prefect smiled at him in thanks, nervously picking at their food. They hadn't wanted to seem too eager about such a nerdy class, but they genuinely enjoyed it.
"Isn't Sebek's brother in that class?" Deuce asked before going back to stuffing his face. Epel fake gagged at his eating before nodding in confirmation. The prefect glanced over at the Hufflepuff table, smiling and waving at Sebek as he glanced over at them. He grinned and waved back before going back to his conversation with some older students. MMM: (S) Divination

"Divination is my first class." The prefect said. December groaned and pouted slightly. Cater shrugged and Vil raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I'm sorry to say you'll be on your own." VIl said, turning back to his breakfast. December nodded, trying to shuffle away from Cater who was trying to steal more of their breakfast.
"I guess we'll see you later then. If you want we can study in the library together." December said. Cater nodded in agreement before December reminded him he wasn't invited, making him pout.
"If you have issues, I believe one of your Gryffindor friends is in that class." Vil said. The prefect smiled slightly and nodded. They ate while chatting a bit about different tactics for Divination and future prediction before eventually grabbing their stuff and heading out to the Divination classroom.
They opened the door and walked inside nervously, smiling as they took in the room. The stacks of books on the sides adding an interesting feel to the room as the crystal balls at each desk gleamed at them. They seemed to be one of the first students there, with the room mostly empty.
The prefect decided to sit right in the middle of the class, setting up their notes to be sure they had everything set to go. Other students started to enter shortly after. Epel grinned at them as he entered, sitting in the row in front of them as they waved at him. One of the other students, a flamboyant Ravenclaw wearing some kind of feather pinned to his deep navy sweater, sat directly next to the prefect, grinning at them .
"Bonjour! I am Rook Hunt. You are also not from Britain originally, correct?" He asked, offering his hand. The prefect nodded and introduced themself, surprised when the Ravenclaw leaned down to press a kiss to their knuckles, grinning at them as he raised his head. The prefect sputtered and blushed a bit, yanking their hand away. Anarel rolled her eyes and smacked Rook's head with a rolled up parchment, causing the blonde to laugh and try and duck.
"Hunt, leave the poor Slytherin alone!" She said, glaring at him before introducing herself as Anarel Crewel. Before the eccentric Ravenclaw could comment on her parchment-beating skills, the professor entered the classroom and introduced herself.
"I am Professor Moen, and I am happy to say I predict we will have a good year!" Said the short woman. She had fluffy white hair and glasses, and seemed at least kind of nice so far.
About halfway through the class, the students were instructed to pair up for a preliminary palm reading to check their current skill level. Glancing around nervously, the prefect was going to ask Anarel to be their partner, only to see her already paired up with another student. That only left two people they knew. Turning back around, the prefect decided to pair up with...
[who will you pair up with?]
...your Gryffindor friend.
...the eccentric Ravenclaw.

"Divination is my first class." The prefect said. Rook grinned at them from across the table while Leona rolled his eyes and Riddle tutted.
"I can't believe people still learn that garbage." Leona said, sighing dramatically. Rook laughed and pat Leona's shoulder, smirking.
"Not everyone can open their eyes to the future. I understand." Rook teased, causing Leona to glare at him and flick a piece of his breakfast at him.
"Whatever. Someone has to learn it I guess" He said, causing Rook to grin in triumph. The prefect giggled slightly and Rook winked at them, grinning. The two of them ate while chatting a bit about different tactics for Divination and future prediction before eventually grabbing their stuff and headed out to the Divination classroom.
Rook opened the door and lead them inside by the hand, smiling as the prefect took in the room. The stacks of books on the sides adding an interesting feel to the room as the crystal balls at each desk gleamed at them. They seemed to be one of the first sets of students there, with the room mostly empty.
The prefect decided to sit right in the middle of the class, setting up their notes to be sure they had everything set to go. Rook sat next to them, his notes already organized. Other students started to enter shortly after. Epel grinned at them as he entered, sitting in the row in front of them as they waved at him.
Rook smirked slightly at their interaction, leaning close to mutter quietly to them.
"Oh? Found a replacement for me already? How dreadful!" He said dramatically, clasping their hand tightly and pretending to faint. The prefect sputtered and blushed a bit, yanking their hand away. A Hufflepuff girl behind them rolled her eyes and smacked Rook's head with a rolled up parchment, causing the blonde to laugh and try and duck.
"Hunt, leave your poor prefect alone!" She said, glaring at him before introducing herself as Anarel Crewel. Before the eccentric Ravenclaw could comment on her parchment-beating skills, the professor entered the classroom and introduced herself.

"Divination is my first class." The prefect said. Trey nodded and Anarel seemed to perk up from across the table.
"You too? Excellent!" She said, clapping once happily. The prefect grinned and nodded, ignoring Ruggie's snickering. Anarel raised an eyebrow at him before turning back to her breakfast.
"Oh Bucchi, you might want to be on guard today. I forsaw a potential 'accident' in your Magical Creatures class if you're not careful." She said sagely, making the older Hufflepuff yelp. He sighed and rolled his eyes and muttered that he'd be careful. The prefect giggled slightly and Anarel winked at them, grinning. The two of them ate while chatting a bit about different tactics for Divination and future prediction before eventually grabbing their stuff and headed out to the Divination classroom.
Anarel opened the door and lead them inside, smiling as she looked around. "Divination is my first class." The prefect said, rolling their eyes at Ace's laugh.
"Really? You believe that hogwash?" He asked, earned a slap to the back of the head from Epel. "It's not hogwash ya ginger nightmare! My grandma is a seer." Epel said, grinning at the prefect. They gasped and leaned over the table to listen better.
"She's one of the trusted seers the Department of Mysteries uses for prophecies! She taught me a lot about Divination." He explained, flashing his Divination textbook at them. They smiled and nodded in understanding, picking up their own book. The two of them ate while chatting a bit about different tactics for Divination and future prediction before eventually grabbing their stuff and headed out to the Divination classroom.
Epel opened the door and bowed dramatically to the prefect in a show of 'gentlemanliness' as he called it. The prefect rolled their eyes but smiled as they walked into the room, the short fourth year following close behind. They seemed to be one of the first sets of students there, with the room mostly empty.
The prefect decided to sit right in the middle of the class, setting up their notes to be sure they had everything set to go. Epel sat in the row behind them, bouncing in his seat eagerly. Other students started to enter shortly after. One of the students, a flamboyant Ravenclaw wearing some kind of feather pinned to his deep navy sweater, sat directly next to the prefect, grinning at them .
