Wellness journal for 2023
• Am slowly cutting out alcohol to a point where I can consume it, but not feel any compulsion to do so and without having to request that others feel like they have to tip toe around it (for example, so I can feel like I can go to a bar with people and not request that the bar to be prohibitively expensive so I have a forced cap on how much I can spend). Better would be to cut out completely, but I actually rather like some alcoholic beverages and if I can develop a healthy relationship with drinking I don't see why I should cut them out completely.
• Have started waking up and falling asleep at relatively standard times, with room for occasionally falling asleep later if I can't sleep.
• Have started planning my day into reasonable and productive slots.
• This one surprised me, having ADHD without medication, have started reading again and am actually not finding it too difficult. Am reading a lot of non-fiction stuff to improve my knowledge, and expand my mind to new things surrounding religion (although atheist), politics and urban planning (my housemate studies this and I've found myself fascinated by the things he discusses at home)
• Have stopped taking way too much of my medication that assists with anxiety, BPD and depression. Although taking the amount exactly prescribed means I am more aware, and don't sleep as much, I feel as though I've come to a point of optimism that actually feels like a norm. Although I do still experience negative emotions, I feel like I'm handling them better.
• Am considering study. Universities in my city have what's called "bridging courses" that allow people who didn't finish high school to get into certain courses. Obviously this will add a level of stress to my life but I feel like I can handle it. Plus, as a 27 (turning 28 year old), I kind of want to get into journalism and explore that area. Exploring something that's intrigued me for a while. I don't want to be a 30 year old with no zest for their job. I have passions, but without experience and further education it'd be hard to make that my work.
So... The first months of 2023 are shaping up to be formative and the months coming are where I'll see if I actually pursue these positive new vibes.

My vintage beauties, mostly miniatures. I got a lot of them from friends and purchased a few from all over the world. A lot of history here and I love sparing a wear where I can.
