Games! We love games! Card games especially. We play magic, dominion and others together. We don't play as often as we used to but hopefully that is changing!

John is obsessed with buying new games. For our entertainment we mainly watch gameplay on youtube which is dangerous as John gets this face on asking to buy a new one. He's getting better at accepting a no! Sometimes

Though I'm not one for clothes shopping I do like wandering around shops when I have the reason, i.e. Christmas, food shopping or to accompany someone else. This is me carrying food bags up to our flat!

While joining me on the table one day, Maxi slipped off and did a flip. Luckily he landed well and ran off! He loves to jump off things, no matter the height. But we mostly catch him due to our own fears!

Food cravings have been hitting me a lot since we began our changes since the beginning of the year. This last week I feel like I am getting a grip on them but who knows when they will strike again!

Also I am very behind in posting comics, I post them daily on Instagram Under TrendingUpwardsComic, so I think I will have to spend a day uploading lots of them.

Instead of using the lift I've been going up and down the stairs in our building. Going up hurts so much! But it's getting better.

I've had a shaved head for about a year and a half now. It irritates me even if its over half a cm. I cut it all off for convenience and I must say, for me, it's so much better. John is very kind to do it for me and I trim his beard!

John gets in from work around 11.30PM, so he stays up later than me most nights and often ends up falling asleep in his chair. I find him in the morning and have to send him to bed for an hour or so to straighten out!

Sometimes I need to have a day of sitting on the couch with a hot water bottle relaxing. Often I need to be told to do this, I'm learning to allow myself to rest.

Persi had a flat tyre recently and unfortunately it couldn't be fixed so we got a new tyre and now she's up and running again.

One of the many things that I love about winter is the fact that there can be comfortable cuddle time. It’s nice to have an evening of relaxing and spending some quiet time together.

"It's not every day you get to wrangle a pig!" Said John about a real adventure he had at work one day. A pig just appeared on the petrol station forecourt and John had to keep her safe (which she did not appreciate). She was taken in by a nearby farm and to this day we have no idea where she came from!

Maxi loves to sit and gaze out of the window. At the moment many of the trees don't have leaves on them so he can see further. We have to keep an eye on him though, he will stay there until he's cold if we let him.

For as long as I can remember I have had anxiety and depression. The anxiety is the biggest battle at the moment. I am making progress and I am celebrating each win!

Here are two more characters involved in our lives. Persi is our car, we haven't had her very long. Squishy is a plushy shark we've had for almost our whole relationship.

A couple of weeks ago Maxi had a visit from the vet. He stayed bright and happy but kept opening his mouth as if to bite, it was very cute. As it turns out he didn’t need us interfering and is healing well on his own.

Early last week our building’s water went off. It took them two days of messing us about to finally fix it. Meanwhile John was fantastic, chasing them up, getting water for us and helping me remain calm throughout.
