Thanks for coming back! I missed this blog for the short time it was dead. People can say what they want about this blog and how it’s run but a few of us are already having problems with the new blog because the stuff we’re sending in isn’t being posted. I sent in an ask trying to help people out and it never got posted, and I know of at least four other users who sent in multiple asks over the last while who never got any of their stuff posted either yet the blog updates every day. I hope this blog will be active again going forward!

Anyway, on the topic of DID, I do believe there may be people on TH who have it, but most people who DO have DID don’t flaunt it around the way these people do nor do they have systems comprised entirely of the newest or most popular fictional characters. And don’t even get me started on “non-traumatic” systems either. You can claim professional diagnosis all you want, but when you’re literally switching alters every five minutes and talking to each other, I’m sorry but that’s a big red flag that it’s fake.

I very much agree that people on TH (and a lot of other sites) are just abusing the disorder for quirkiness and it’s harmful to people who actually have the disorder.
